Perfectly cooked eggs and hash browns!
    TJ B.

Sweetie, if you have a Yelp friend who gave this place less than 3 stars, it's time to unfriend them. Their opinion is worth nothing. And Sugar, if you don't like being called, Honey, this is not the diner for you. This place is great with some prompt, friendly, home cooked food and service. I had a perfectly cooked breakfast and a great slice of pie. My coffee was kept full and the place is warm and decorated for the holidays. Seemed like a good stream of locals and old timers enjoying the food as well. The menu was the typical diner selections you would expect with a full special board and it looks like they serve beer as well. Went back a 2nd time... Service still friendly, coffee still kept full, sausage patty still good. Had two different egg orders though which were both overdone, cooked to a brown bottom. (cheese omelet and scrambled eggs). I'd skip both of those next time. They'd probably pack a few more people in if they just painted their sign and took down the plastic "restaurant open" sign that looks like it has been there since the motel went away. I mean, they're competing with a giant candy cane signed diner next door and a Bob Evans across the street. At least put a little effort into the appearance. Who knows, maybe that is intentional to keep if for those who know it is worth visiting.

Masseur Toll House nasty indigestible food

Went here today for lunch. The lady was really nice but I know why there wasn't anyone of color in there. Fried party wings too salty string beans (canned and bland) taste like lemon juice. I don't know why the French fry is there. Didn't ask for it I've never seen potato salad like this in my life. Besides the weird crap in it ie: carrots it was watery as heck and the chunks of celery were huge way too many and nasty. How does one make potato salad without eggs or relish?! This is NOT potato salad. Periodt!!! I asked for sweet tea. Got back at work and it too was bland and unsweetened. Not what I asked for. Paid $2.25 for a 6oz cup to go but in-house are free refills of a 12 oz cup. The roll was the only digestible item which I only bit to put something on my stomach with the water. I waisted almost $15 on this horrible food. The water not included but ended up being lunch today. If the order isn't what was requested than it's wrong. This place can't afford to get the order wrong especially when the food is disgusting. Don't waist your time or money. I should have gotten Popeyes. At least I wouldn't be hungry and feeling taken advantage of. I could've donate that money to a worthy cause. My people please don't waist ur time and especially not ur money on this place.

During our trip in July 2026, we walked in and was immediately greeted by the hostess, Rylan. She seemed a little flustered about not having a supply of fresh silverware for give to us, and we had to wait for them to bring her more. She was apologetic for the wait and seemed genuinely embarrassed, but we assured her that it was ok and it wasn't her fault. Once we were seated we were greeted by our waiter, Jose. This guy was a rock-star! Customer service was top-notch, and he was extremely friendly. I ordered a plate of Loaded Cheese Fries to share with my son, as we weren't very hungry. When the food was brought to our table it was hot and delicious, but the fries cooled down fast and became stale-feeling. But, to be fair, I suppose that's what happens when you load refrigerated dairy producted on top of hot fries! The men's bathroom was very clean and well kept, and the booth seats were very soft and comfortable. Other than the fries cooling down way too quickly, I have zero complaints and would recommend this location to my friends and family!

We wanted a memorable place to mark the occasion and chose Showroom. I even noted both celebrations when making our reservation a week in advance. The hostess was friendly and kind, although clearer direction on where to wait would have helped. The front entrance was congested, and we felt like we were in everyone's way. Unfortunately, the service never matched the occasion. Our server never introduced themselves or acknowledged either celebration. They began taking orders without any engagement, and throughout the meal we were repeatedly unable to get their attention. I understand Sunday brunch is busy, but I work in a concierge-driven environment and was genuinely disappointed by the lack of hospitality. The food was mixed. The chicken and waffles and the omelet were good. My husband's steak was cold and the portion was very small. He ordered French fries but received unseasoned potatoes that lacked any flavor. My fish and chips were fine but also lacked seasoning, lemon, or any attention to detail. I specifically requested fries without Old Bay but received fries heavily coated in it. We also ordered a steak and eggs meal to go, which took about 30 minutes. When it was opened later, it contained only three small slices of steak. My brother-in-law genuinely thought he had been given someone's leftovers because the portion was so disappointing. My husband quietly paid the $300 bill while I still hoped someone might acknowledge the birthday or retirement with a simple mention, smile, or thank you. It never happened. We were never even offered a desert menu. We left without a goodbye or any acknowledgment from the staff. Disappointed doesn't begin to describe how we felt. We had many options in Frederick but chose Showroom because we expected a special experience. I could tell my family didn't want to complain because I had spoken so highly of the restaurant, but they were equally underwhelmed. Please do better.

They love to shut down early if they're not busy, so you show up when it's supposed to be open but it isn't. The ambiance is a personal thing; if you love having a (limited) view of runways 23/5 and the taxi area, you're good (except in poor weather, when you'll likely see nothing), but the basic interior of the restaurant is of limited appeal unless you love old aviation-themed stuff on the walls. So why do I give it three stars? Because there are some great food bargains on the menu (and because on good days you do get great aviation views outside). Go for the double decker club, the standard hamburger/cheeseburger with fries, and try any of their soups and the chili. They're all great. And their pork chop dinner entree is a fantastic deal. People also rave about their breakfast; I'm more a fan of the later menu.
