Food is always very good here. Service is usually very good, today was exceptional. Ambiance is traditional old time diner. Chill quiet nice clean older staff drinks tons of options. Haven't had a bad meal yet.

    Jalapeño poppers

Met with our friend here who lives in the area for breakfast even though my husband and I have been having bad luck with diners. Although finding parking was a pain, the place looked nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and I was able to get a coffee asap. I'm not much of a morning person but I love jalapeño poppers so my friends got meals and I got the poppers. The food came out quick and looked great. I was happy and so was everyone else. My husband loved his shrimp wrap. We would happily come back here to meet our friends again. If it were a little closer maybe we'd even go just for fun.

    Greek omelette

Me and my wife decided to try this place for breakfast and we both loved the food and the service. My order: The Greek omelette and pancakes were both amazing. This place knows how to do an omelette and the home fries were also perfect. Both just perfectly cooked. I have not had breakfast food this good since 2016 back in Monroe, ny. Food was fresh and perfectly cooked. The ambience was of a small town dinner which is just perfect for me. Loved how everyone, even patrons, seemed nice. There are very few choices for good food local to us so this place is amazing and we will be back. The server was also amazing and friendly. I wish we had tried this place sooner. I don't usually give 5 stars but this diner deserves it. This is my review for breakfast my review for dinner will be next.

    chipotle chicken and waffle

Came here with my buddy for a brunch, let say I noticed this place was very clean and organized, I was impressed since a lot of diners fall short on that. so besides that, the server we had was very polite and friendly, always sure to ask if we needed anything and if we enjoyed our meals. So, I had the chipotle chicken and waffles, chicken was fork tender and glad it was thin breast rather a huge dried out one, chipotle sauce was smokey but mildly spicy, now the waffle was fluffy and sweet, wish I had two three waffles over a giant one though. Great diner here for the area.

We had a great time at this diner. Our waitress Jessica was so attentive and kind and gave great recommendations. She was willing to split our group of 7 into 4 checks which was very helpful. I love that they incorporate a lot of Greek options into the menu- I had to try the gyro and I ordered it with the gyro meat which I thought was normally lamb kofta but it didn't taste gamey to me like most lamb (a good thing)! The fries were a little plain but had a good texture. We were charged for a coffee that we didn't order but they took it off when we pointed it out. Overall we enjoyed our food and customer service.

Stopped here while traveling from Newburgh NY to Union Dale PA. Typical Diner, big menu with everything under the sun. We had a party of 6, and we were all starving. Service was slow. Not what I would expect for a NY Diner. When the food finally arrived, some of our parties food was cold. Bummer. Don't think I would return, as there are too many diners to choose from

This place is a local hometown diner. I love the small town feel and the Greek salad/gyro is our go to. The breakfasts are always delish.

Let me start with that panzerotto, because it deserves its own paragraph. This is the kind of dish you would have to fly to Italy to find, and somehow Cascarino's is making it right here. It was the single best thing I ate, and I am still thinking about it. The grandma pie was phenomenal, perfectly crisp on the bottom, pillowy inside, with that beautiful golden crust that so few places actually nail. The regular pizza held its own too, with solid sauce, great cheese pull, and a crust that had real character. But what ties it all together is the ownership. This is a true owner-operated spot, and you feel it in every detail, the care in the kitchen, the warmth at the counter, the consistency in every bite. When the owner is on site, this place is firing on all cylinders. Five star service, no question. And order the rice ball, packed with cheese and meat and hotttt out of the oven. Cascarino's is, without a doubt, the best pizza and Italian food restaurant in the area. It is worth the drive. I have made it twice in two weeks and am already thinking about a third trip.

The pizza still has that solid NY-style crunch, good flavor, and plenty of topping options. Whether grabbing a quick slice or ordering from the full menu, the food is consistently well-prepared and hits the mark. What really stands out is the consistency. The owner clearly takes pride in the operation, the kitchen stays on point, and the staff keeps things moving. It's not easy to maintain quality over time, but Cascarino's has managed to do exactly that. Pizza Beast Verdict: Still one of the most reliable pizza spots in the area. Great slices, solid menu, and a place I keep coming back to for a reason. Rating: 5/5 Beast Slices

Pros: We chose Natasha for a small family party to celebrate our wedding this spring. We went with…read moreher mainly because she was the first/only chef to begin our conversation by asking us what WE had in mind and letting that be the foundation for building the menu. She seemed eager to help us realize our vision rather than impose someone else's onto us. There are also four other people on the IBN team: the sous chef, whose name I forget; the bartender, for whom the same is true (maybe Aaron or Erin), and two servers: Mason and Spencer. These folks did an AMAZING job and we were both so grateful for their kindness and professionalism on the day of the event. Finally, I liked what I ate! I was happy with my day-of meal. Cons: Natasha was incredibly rude to both me and my husband in the weeks leading up to the post-wedding party. I had only spoken to her twice before the party: once when I hired her and again in February. She'd said in February that we could have a third and final call two weeks before the event. When I emailed her three weeks before the event to schedule this final call, she sounded irritated and said we'd spoken "a few days ago" (we had not; I even asked some relatives in case someone else had, but no) and she wanted to "stick to the plan" of having a call at a date a time to which we had not agreed--- only *five* days before the party. My husband reminded her that she'd said we could talk two weeks before and she eventually, reluctantly scheduled a call with us. When we call at the date and time she told us to, she does not pick up; instead, she texts us that she's in the middle of an event. All of these things are perfectly normal, human mistakes. We all get clients confused and talk to one as though they are another (like the "a few days ago" thing). We all overbook ourselves every once in a while and are unavailable after telling someone we would be. A professional would have simply apologized; instead, after I used *one sentence* of an email to express my disappointment about the missed call--- because my husband had taken off work to be available for it, so lost money for no reason--she used this as an excuse to threaten not to show up. Said she needed us to "confirm" in light of my "tone." In light of this, I decided not to speak to this person anymore unless absolutely necessary (i.e. at the party, for the sake of our guests). My husband took over talking to her, at which point we had a fun little role-reversal in which he was now the one reporting to me on a regular basis how rude Natasha was being to him. So at least I know it wasn't personal! Conclusion: If you just need to place a big food order and don't need to talk to the chef again after that, you can go with IBN and you'll probably be fine. If, however, you are planning an event of great importance to you--or just don't want to risk being treated like a burden for wanting to speak more than once with someone you're employing-- maybe look elsewhere.
