Had dinner at Austin Manor tonight. I had chicken Marsala and my husband had the house special pasta with chicken, peppers and onions with crumbled sausage also. Everything was so delicious including the homemade Italian salad dressing. Danni, the manager was so warm, happy and genuine. Really wanted to steal her for my restaurant. It was our first time at The Manor, our server Cheyenne was the best, she was very attentive with a big smile. She gave us her food suggestions and she was spot on. The burger and fries were very good, we also had fish and chicken and everyone enjoyed their choice. We highly recommend this place and hopefully you'll have our server. Very slow. Waited over 35 minutes for a table (restaurant was practically empty). Only one server working. Then waited almost an hour for the food once we were seated. Bar service seemed to be faster. Burgers were decent...but had to wait for condiments. I wanted to enjoy this as I've heard from others that it was good...won't be going back. We thought we would try this place again after they reopened after seeing the recent pictures. It wasn't busy but it took over an hour for food. Not only was my fish cold and greasy, it looks like a leftover from someone's plate. What they serve is nothing like what they post! This place has the best black and blue burger around. Great blackened seasoning and piled high with blue cheese. They also have really great fair fries. It's more of a bar scene than a family restaurant but it's nice inside. I mostly get takeout here butt have eaten in. A few times. The staff is normally friendly. read more

It took over an hour to get our food when the restaurant had maybe 30 people in it. It came out ice cold when we asked why it took so long the answer was we don't know. A manger never even came to talk to us. The chef stood and talked to a table for 20min while we waited for food... maybe if he had been in the kitchen where he belongs things would have been out on time and not cold. read more

We have visited this place a handful of times for dinner. More often then not, the girl bartender was HAMMERED! The last & final time we were there, she apologized for being drunk. Said the owners wife has shots ready for when she walks in. We were there for an hour & she had done 4 shots during that time. Very drab decor. Hostess and owner were chatting when we walked in and it seemed like we were bothering them. Waitress was prompt and friendly. Appetizer of the Manor chips arrived and were not even hot. Seemed like they were precooked. Daughter ordered a dinner and soup, no bread arrived but was given to other tables. While waiting for dinners to arrive, the hostess was bussing a near by table and dropped two glasses of water and peppers and oil on the floor. What a slippery mess. The hostess tried to mop the floor making it more slippery. The owner come to the rescue with a bottle of Simple Green. He sprayed the entire 4x10 area. The fumes were overwhelming. People were asking to be moved to the bar area. As he mopped he was talking to customers saying he needs some kitchen help to do this, because that is why they are here. They even turned up the ceiling fans to high to dry the floor. Food arrived and portions were very small for the price. Half a sandwich and fries $9 and chicken parmigiana $17. Not even offered a discount for the horrible smell. Will not be back. Especially because wife is sick from the fumes. read more

Very high prices for what you get. Most recently went there for taco Tuesday. If was so over priced for what we got. I had little ones with me and there wasn't a childrens menu?? Went for steak, pizza, wings, burgers and fries. It was a Saturday morning (the day after St Patrick's Day) and the whole place seemed to have a "hangover". We keep trying to find a reason to like this restaurant but it isn't working. Once we came in for a drink on our way home from dinner and sat at a table in the bar area. No one would come wait on us and after 15 minutes we left. A year later we tried it again and had the most incompetent server ever. We tried it a couple of weeks ago and had a good server and good food. Great! So a couple of nights ago we bring my sister from out of town. Server was wonderful, Brittany. Food and drinks were good although when the menu states meatballs you only get one. We go to pay the bill and they would not accept our Entertainment coupon. The cook told the floor manager they were not supposed to be in the book this year. Funny, we used a coupon for lunch a couple of weeks ago. We told them there should be a sign where you come in stating they will no longer be accepted. Oh, and by the way, there was a little boy who ran all over the place just about the entire time. It seemed like he was related to someone there. After dinner his family sat at the bar and he continued to run all over the place. By the time we left the bar was filled, hardly anyone was in the restaurant area. What does that tell you? They are catering to the bar crowd. Just came back from an over-priced $70.00 dinner at the Manor. Fish was tasteless and extremely greasey, it was beer battered white fish, what the heck? We sat at the bar side, patrons were excessively loud as they screamed at each other the entire night. Jukebox blaring, people screaming- most likely will never return. We visited with a group, waited a aprox. 20 min to be offered a drink. Server was friendly but another guest suggested he was intoxicated. Ordered the spaghetti and meatballs ($10.95)... This is falsely advertised because it comes only with one meatball slightly bigger than a golf ball. Portion was small and the sauce was greasy. Salad was fair and cheaply made (nothing more than lettuce, a couple cherry tomatoes and a single slice of cucumber cut in half). Went out there with my partner last night for dinner was our first time. We thought we'd give it a try since we passed it by a few times on the road. We both have the specials. We ordered an appetizer which is calamari. It was not crispy and seems under cooked. It was not good. They won't even give you like a small plate to use for the appetizer. Who does that? I had the beer battered haddock. One big fish and too much batter and seems burnt. The onions rings were mostly burnt as well. The zucchini was ok. My partner had a 1 lb crab legs with zucchini and baked potato on the side. She seems to enjoy it. My lemonade taste like water. I even let my partner taste it. It's like a glass with a few lemon juice and less sugar with lots of water. Our server take so long to refill my drink. When I asked for refill she even thought it's water. That just telling you my drink doesn't look like a lemonade. Our first time will be the last one. Food overall was awful! Bad experience!!" read more

Dining area made even smaller. It feels more like a lounge than a restaurant. Of the few tables in the dining room, they had 3 or so "reserved" as there was an entertainer appearing later in the evening. They did seat us at one of the "reserved" tables. After we were seated, we saw them turning away customers. Poor lighting. Food was okay, service was okay. Just not the same place. Too small for an entertainer-why would you sacrifice tables for entertainment space? It seems that they are catering to a bar crowd, which is fine. Just not what we're looking for. So My husband and I decided to go out tonight and thought we would try something new. We went to The Manor in Austintown. We were there tonight at 7:15 walked in and sat ourselves as was posted to do so. We sat there for 10 minutes without even one of the 4 waitresses saying a word to us. Our youngest son just kept saying juice please. I know they knew we were there because they would look over as they were doing shots behind the bar. We will never set foot in that place ever again. Have been there many times for fish on Friday. Last Friday fish was terrible. Could not even cut it with a knife and was too well done. Sent it back twice. Could not eat it. Left restaurant hungry and frustrated. Will not be returning. read more

We have visited this restaurant a few times within the last year and enjoyed the food. We quickly learned if you don't sit at the bar the service is terrible. We visited recently for dinner and will never be back!! The bartender who stated several times she was "off the clock, just filling in" was either incredibly drunk or on something. She asked our drink order three times and you would've thought we were speaking a foreign language to her. We asked for a menu and had to remind her 15 minutes later after she did a shot with a customer at the bar. After another ten minutes ordering was a disaster. She did not know the menu at all and never asked what side we wanted for our dinner. The salad took another 15 minutes to arrive and once our dinners came out she then proceeded to ask what sides we wanted. The food was just ok which was irritating since we paid $16 a piece for them. Finally a new bartender arrived!! The woman who was bartending proceeded to sit on a patrons lap on the other side of the bar and count her money drawer right there on the bar while she continued to drink. We were incredibly disappointed and do not plan on visiting any time soon. read more
