We made a reservation which was a great idea as it's small inside and was packed . Boat was amazing! So kind and helpful , service was wonderful and the atmosphere was busy with everyone chatting and socializing . The food was amazing and I can't wait to go back

I want to first give a shout out to the young male host who worked his magic to get us a table for 4 without reservations. Our meals were so so delicious and good sized portions. I'll post pics so you can drool over them. I recommend this restaurant.

Came without a reservation for early dinner, but was able to be seated right away outdoors. Luckily they had heaters because it was getting chilly. The views were great! Service was great and the servers were attentive. Only thing was food took a real long time to come out. I got the special of the day, which was seafood linguine. They had ran out of the lasagna. The sauce was really good, but the clams and mussels were super tiny. The dish was still pretty tasty. Tiramisu was a pass and the flatbread was just okay. Not the best food I've ever had and the waiting was pretty long.

Service was friendly, food was pretty good. I had one of the specials of the day, braised lamb shank served with pan seared gnocchi and rapini (broccolini). The shank was tender and tasty, and rapini nicely done. The gnocchi, however, tasted like it was made from reconstituted potatoes. Husband had the duck confit which was served with fingerling potatoes and rapini. Son had Penne Pollo and daughter had vegetable lasagna. All were given a thumbs up.

Love the ambience in this tucked away restaurant in Canmore. Food was delicious and service spectacular!

It's a chilly night with snow gently falling, and a tall wooden building with light glowing out of the windows beckons warmly. Inside are jars of pickled mushrooms, beet pesto, duck pate etc that we purchase before we take our seats. Glad to pull our masks down and breathe openly, we peruse The Happy Hour and Specials which are great deals here. However, we had a yearning for mussels and egad! how wonderful that we indulged it. The mussels are EVERYTHING. Personally, I would make this dish larger and have it as an entree on the menu, not an appetizer. It comes with some fresh bread to mop up the liquid gold juices. We followed that with duck confit which was also very delicious and the sweetness of the candied pecans contrasted nicely with the salty crispy skin. The service was excellent, social distancing was well done. We will return.

I tried the Atlantic salmon and prawns, as well as their in-house chocolate torte, paired with a nice organic Riesling. The fish was a bit overdone and there could've been more than two prawns, but the flavours on the plate, the texture, and mouth feel were excellent. We were pampered by our attentive, friendly server, and we enjoyed al fresco dining on a sunny late spring afternoon with a gorgeous view of the mountains.

We were looking for a place to get a meal on our way back to Vancouver and found this place on Yelp - and we were not disappointed! Atmosphere: The orange glow of the restaurant's lights gave off a very warm and cozy feeling as we were walking up to it through the snow and ice. It felt like a friendly, cozy place, and the decor really helped to add to the mood! Staff: Friendly and prompt. We felt very well taken care of. Food: There was a good selection on the menu, and all the food and drinks we got were absolutely delectable! My boyfriend even got an extra drink to go for the way back because his drink during dinner was so good. Sadly I do not live in the area - if I did I could see this being a place I would frequent. I rate this place as HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

They were all very drinkable which was nice but none I would search out at a wine store. Boyfriend tried the Cesear and found it "different" - it looked very dilute to me. Wound not get again. He also tried The Help cocktail - 8/10 not the best but not bad. For entree I got the Pork Schnitzel and he got the Wild Boar Tagliatelle. Pork Schnitzel: 10/10 was very happy with my portion, tastes, and flavors. 100% would come and get again. Wild Boar Tagliatelle: boyfriend was very happy with it. It tasted to much like classic pasta to me - smaller portion that I would have liked too - a handful more noodles would be good! Boyfriend was still hungry after his meal - so we got dessert. We tried Lemon Tartelette: 9.5/10, my only critique is that the tart was Very very small and hardly enough to share. Flavor was 10/10 and the raspberry gelato was 12/10 good. and Mango Cheesecake in a jar: boyfriend liked, but its cream cheese mousse and I Really do not like this - personal preference so I won't rate it. Boyfriend found it very filling/heavy but liked the flavors.

We ordered two pasta verdes, one vegetable platter, and one bread and butter. The pasta verde was very bland and under-salted, to the point that we had to ask for salt, pepper, and cheese which our female server kindly gave us. The other dishes were fine, but some of the dips in the vegetable platter were either under or overly salty. We told our waitress about the pasta and she kindly said she would let the team know. Shortly after, a waiter/server came up to us (Asian, male) asking about the pasta. We told him it was flavorless and bland, and since we are an ethnically South Asian looking family, he said something along the lines of "this food is not typically spicy". We felt taken aback, as we love all types of cuisines, including pasta, and don't just prefer food with South Asian spices. We felt disrespected by this waiter, as if our viewpoint on the food was not valid. In fact, another review on Google from just a few days ago also presumably mentioned the same server (Asian, male) who invalidated their opinions on the food. He then went on to ask if we liked the spiciness of the Szechuan butter with the bread (?) and offered us sorbet, but we refused. They ended up taking 10% off of our bill due to our complete dissatisfaction with the pasta dishes. Ultimately, disappointed in the assumptions, disrespectful invalidation of our opinions on the food, and lack of flavor. Would ultimately not recommend eating here.

Loved the lentils (which shocked me because I don't really care for lentils) and the amuse bouche could've been my meal. It was some beet gazpacho that tasted like heaven. I'm not a fish person so I can't speak to the fish course, but my mom ate hers and mine so that seems telling. Dessert was A+. Every course was delicious and Matt was knowledgeable and enjoyable. In addition to the 6 courses, we had an amuse bouche, a palate cleanser, and I think they surprised us with an extra dessert or two. It was decadent. Delicious - favorites were the sprouted lentil, the tenderloin, and the lobster emulsion and brioche. Yum.
