All the servers, cooks, and buffet person were really nice. Excellent customer service here. I had a concert today a morongo, so we thought we would try this made to order. My phone died before I could take more pics. Its big inside and it was busy. You go to the kiosk on the side outdide of the buffet and reserve a time slot. We chose 7pm as my Midland concert was at 9pm. Its 48$ a person. They say you can get a 10% discount for having the app, but I didn't see it. There are several different stations of made to order food. You go to the station you want and choose an entree and they carve it or make it for you. You choose a side that's already made, then at the end of the line, you pick up your food. They have a prime rib station, chinese noodles station, mexican station, and a seafood station. Too bad today they didn't have the lobster roll. They said their menu changes every 2 weeks or so. They have a beverage station and dessert station that you can grab 5 desserts at a time. If you want crab its an extra 20$ and alcohol is also extra. Overall, its decent. The prime rib was really good to me, but since they didn't have lobster roll today, I was disappointed. read more

After a 7-hour shopping trip next door at desert hills, I knew I wanted to try this ayce buffet at marketplace. Its on the first floor, easy to find if you do self parking in the structure in the back. There are kiosks to reserve and pay, but I wasn't able to get a table that way. Thankfully there is a live person whom you can pay with and your seating time is written on your receipt. One adult came out to $50 plus I left $5 tip at the table. $20 more if you want crab legs, but I opted out and it was a good thing because I got very full very quickly. Even though my seating time said 8pm, I was able to get seated at around 735pm. I said it was my first time so I got a run through of how everything works. I started from the back right and made my way around. Went to get Mexican first and since I dont eat meat, I just got rice and beans with peppers and elote corn with all the toppings. They do have an Asian place with wok inspired recipes but I couldn't eat anything from there. I'm glad they have a seafood place though. They had a good amount of choices for seafood. I started with clam chowder and fish and chips. Chowder was decent, but fish and chips were not. The fish was too oily and not crispy. Fries were not very hot. The portion was also too big so I barely ate any of it. I was going to circle back and try the seafood stew and poke but that didn't happen. Instead, I got fruit, salad, and pesto pasta. The salad was actually good and fruit helped wash everything down. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware my pasta was going to have bacon in it so I ate only a few bites and then decided to stop. I went over to the chicken and waffle place next and I liked that I was able to customize what I wanted. I got little servings of waffle, corn bread, cole slaw, tomato bisque, and mac and cheese. I was so stuffed by then that I only took a few bites of each. Before desserts I went to the prime cut area and they had many things I could order such as salmon, yuka fries, vegetables, and mashed potatoes. I was so full so I knew i couldn't order anymore. I told the server I need to take a walk and maybe circle back. I went to desserts after and they had an arrange of choices. I got some soft serve and a mango cake. I took some bites of those along with the fresh fruit from earlier. At around 845 I did circle back to the prime cut area and noticed they put away all their displays. Im not sure if that meant they weren't serving anymore, but the buffet isn't supposed to close until 9pm, so closing the serving area early isn't great when the restaurant is still very full of people. The marketplace is worth it in my opinion. There's actually a lot of choices for just about anyone who isn't vegan and you can definitely eat as much as you want here. I heard they do rotate their menus. They have 2 self serve soda fountain areas and I was able to make a small cup of coffee to take with me for the hour ride back home. One more thing, it's probably worth it to use your morongo card to see if they have any discounts or perks for dining. I forgot mine at home and the line to grab another one at the help desk was moving slowly so I didn't wait to get one. So Morongo had an above average traditional buffet restaurant a few years back, not sure why they got rid if it, but this new way of serving food buffet style is different & unique. Normally I go to Yaamava, but today, came to Morongo to specifically try out their new style buffet. So first, you set your dining time & pay for it at the kiosk, located at the entrance of the restaurant. Return at your reservation time & get seated, get some simple instructions on how things work here, and start eating. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Dining area was a little smaller, but decorated nicely, fairly clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staffers were all nice & attentive. 7 restaurants or food stalls to choose from, each having their own menu to serve. This is were the problems started. The quality of the food was mostly meh at best, with a few choices as pretty good. The prime rib was excellent, but the sides were meh, mash potatoes were overly salty & cold, the cajun shrimp & grits were thick & gummy. The omelet station was good, hot & fresh, (cooked to order) & pizza was also pretty good. Everything else was either overly salty or lacked flavor, served cold or at best, room temperature. As for the food, some good and other dishes meh. By food type: Al Comal - carne asada tacos were ok. Tortillas didn't seem homemade and saw no one making tortillas. At a buffet I wouldn't waste the space. Chicharrones and guacamole were good. Sukiru - orange chicken ok, came with rice and bok choy which were not special. Other dishes had some ingredients unsure about so didn't try (ie. kimchi and spam fried rice). Pescato - clam chowder seemed more like cream of potato soup. Tasted fine but not what we expected. Fisherman stew was good. Carving station - prime rib was good. Pork and waffle - best dish in the place with fried chicken, waffle, corn bread, bacon and hash brown. Sweet Things - looked good but not great. Cannolis were soggy, flan terrible, crème brûlée was so so and Carmel pretzel cookie was good. Overall, I'm not sure I'd go back for the brunch price and mediocre food. Came on a Saturday night for dinner, and they have self-serve kiosk options to select a dining time + pay. Super easy to get a ticket, also they had PLENTY of dining times available. We thought we'd have to wait hours, but arriving at 6:35 PM, and the next dining time was 7 PM. Since there was no line to get in, we saw people go up to the servers, show the 7 PM ticket at 6:40 PM, and were quickly seated anyways. Price: $48 per person. Drinks included. Parking free. I lived in Vegas for a few years, tried most of the buffets (Bacchanal, Wicked Spoon, Wynn, etc.), and gotta say. THIS BUFFET IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE MOST ENJOYABLE BUFFET EXPERIENCES I'VE HAD. SO GOOD! 100% RECOMMEND. Why? - Price point is reasonable considering the quality of food. - Food Quality is LEGIT! Almost every item we ordered was actually delicious. Other buffets I'm used to wide variety but mediocre dishes. Each dish at this spot was legit GOOD. - Each item tasted almost as something I would willingly order at a restaurant, and enjoy - Concept is fun and refreshing. I came to The Marketplace today and overall I'd say it was an OK experience. I enjoyed some crab legs (extra charge of $19.99) and they were solid. I also tried the prime rib, but unfortunately it was really salty. This isn't the first time either -- a few times I've been here it's come out salty and a bit dry. I also had the chicken and waffles. Chicken was pretty good with good flavor, waffles were on the soggy side. My kids had the spaghetti and said it was OK. We also tried some of the seafood options -- the fresh oysters were amazing. I got the fish and chips and that was actually super good. Dessert is always on point here. I grabbed chocolate chip cookies and the kids loaded up with all kinds of sweets. Overall: decent selection, some hits and misses, desserts and seafood shine the most. My favorite dish of the night hashad to have been the miso coconut flavored white fish and rice. ( Think I went back for 3rds, ). Second favorite, came down to the waffles from the BBQ spot ( usually chicken and waffles, but to me chicken was overdone and dry). Service and bussing quick and friendly. The Marketplace by Fabio Viviani Title: Solid food, but slipping on quality and value We've been to The Marketplace by Fabio Viviani around five times now, so this review comes after several visits, not just a one-off experience. It's all-you-can-eat with a unique setup where you go to each station to order food, which felt fresh and fun at first. The first time it was just my husband and me, and we had a great time - the food was very good with great selection, fair for the price, and overall it felt like a strong value. That initial visit is what made us excited to start bringing other people here. Since then, we've brought different groups of friends and family, and honestly it feels like the quality has gone down a bit, and the value for money isn't what it used to be. Some of the items we really enjoyed on earlier visits are no longer on the menu, like the baos, and there hasn't been much in the way of new or exciting additions to replace them. The menu is starting to feel a little static, especially for a place inside a busy casino where you'd expect more rotation or creativity. [[HIGHLIGHT]]From what I can tell, it's not pet friendly, so keep that in mind if you're used to bringing your dog to more casual spots.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There are also no happy hour deals, which makes the slipping value stand out more. It's nice to have coffee and theirs was great at first, but they changed the dessert and coffee setup--they used to offer special coffee drinks that made it special. Parking is technically very easy since it's inside the casino and parking is free, but the actual experience can be frustrating. The garage and lots can be crowded and chaotic, and getting from your car into the restaurant isn't always smooth or quick, especially during busy times. It's been a while, last time we were here, I think was before Covid, feels somewhat different except for cost. Don't understand the additional to one restaurant, for crab legs. The cost per person is expensive, crab legs should be included. Love the concept of individual restaurants. Considering the cost and what is offered, does feel kind of limited on food items offered. The food is prepared on the spot, as you order and delicious. The one item I did not was the tuna poke. The one unique dessert that I would love to have again is the Thai Panna Cotta. That means Customer Service is on point on all levels from the moment you enter the restaurant, to the people picking up the dirty dishes as you finish a meal, to the people thanking you as you leave. My wife and I were surprised that this was NOT a conventional buffet. We did not have a reservation, so we had to wait 20 minutes before being seated. There were 6 stations of various cuisine, Mexican, Asian, Italian, Southern, Prime Rib, and desserts. There were 2 staff manning each station, almost no wait. At each station, there were quite a few options to choose from. You had no spoons to dish out your own preferences. ( This probably saves the casino a lot of wasted food ) I found no reason to complain or dislike any item I chose to consume. High on my list were the cornbread/butter, the spare ribs, the prime rib, the sweet chili shrimp, the bok choi, carrot cake, and ice cream. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We had been here a decade ago and were not impressed, so kudos to management for stepping up their game!! This is an ALL YOU CAN LEAVE BUFFET. Food is terrible. No flavor to most of it. The tacos were disgusting with salsa coming in a repacked baggy. Pizza was inedible, orange chicken was some kind of tough mystery meat. The esquite was by far the worst part of the meal, just super zesty and sour which hurt my teeth. The stuffed pasta shells were uncooked and crunchy and the cheese tasted like mush. Soda station was cool. Prime rib was decent. And the BBQ was the only good area was decent meats that were more in the dry side. Dessert area was a plus. Other than that this is overpriced cafeteria food and a tourist trap. read more

Was excited to give the marketplace a try on our first visit to morongo since they had renovated their buffet. In the past, the quality was never amazing but i remember it to be consistent and decent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The marketplace seems to have tried to fully change their aesthetic and approach to the buffet, with the food being presented as dishes from various stalls. I do think that serves to make the atmosphere a bit more luxurious to match the price tag of $50, rivaling some higher end buffets.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Once we were sat, we tried a variety of dishes from all of the stalls. [[HIGHLIGHT]]One benefit of the new buffet style, which consists of placing orders at a counter and picking up the dishes on the other end, is that things are much more orderly and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We also found that the dishes seemed to be much more creative and distinct compared to before. However, once we got to trying the food, we were largely disappointed. Many of the foods that rely heavily on execution and freshness, like pasta and tacos, were obviously old, with overcooked noodles and soggy tortillas. Almost all of the seafood we had tasted far from fresh, and that excludes crab legs, which come à la carte for an extra cost. I remember being particularly disappointed by a side advertised as confit potatoes, which ended up just being some whole roasted fingerling potatoes with zero seasoning or fat. Came here on a Sunday around 5:45pm. In order to get seated, you need to make a reservation at the kiosk and pay in advance (about $50 per person with additional $20 for crab legs). Luckily we were able to get a 6pm time slot. The concept for this buffet is unique - it's an AYCE food hall with different stations to cater to different food/cuisine preferences (Mexican, Asian, Italian, Seafood, Carving station, Southern, Desserts) My fave was the seafood station! I loved the scallops! They were flavorful and tender. The fisherman's stew was delicious too! Had good pieces of mussels and clams! The tuna poke was good, although they put too much sauce over the fish. I tried some of my bf's fried calamari, and it was pretty good, although the batter was quite thick. I also shared the lobster roll with my bf, and I thought it was good, although they use "Lobster sensation" instead of fresh lobster meat, so it tastes more like imitation crab. The raw oysters weren't very good - small and not super tasty. From the Asian station, I tried the gochujang ribs and the assorted dumplings. The ribs were pretty good, but not a lot meat. The dumplings are small and colorful. The inside was yummy, but the outside was hard/crusty. From the Italian station, I tried the lobster penne (they also use lobster sensation). It had a strong seafood flavor and some good lobster pieces. The penne itself was too soft and would have been better al dente. From the Southern station, I got the brisket. It was surprisingly tender especially with the fatty pieces! The coleslaw was also yummy. This was one of my fave items that were non-seafood. My bf loved the catfish. I tried the mac and cheese, but it needed to be cheesier/gooier. The corn bread was meh From the carving station, I got the prime rib and the teriyaki salmon. The prime rib was supposed to be medium rare, but it was well done, so it wasn't very good. This was my least favorite. The salmon was pretty good - some parts were tender, but some parts were drier. From the dessert station, I got the peanut butter cookie and this smores-looking the dessert. The cookie wasn't anything special, but the smores dessert was delicious! First time at the Morongo Marketplace and wow, what a unique and tasty experience! When you arrive, you will go to the reservation screens out front to pay and reserve your time slot, which felt very smooth and organized. Pro tip: Veterans eat free on Tuesdays! This isn't your typical buffet, think of it more like separate restaurant's in a food court. There are multiple food stations with over five different types of meals pre selected you can add or remove things you don't like. Highlights for me were the carne asada and al pastor tacos, esquites, brisket, and the crunchy pizza (yes, it was perfectly cooked). The dessert station was also a hit! Lows? The Korean fried chicken didn't hit the mark, and the poke wasn't memorable. The fountain drink selection could also use a little boost. But what really stood out above all was the service. The AYCE Food Court is normally $50 per person, but I came here on the Monday before Christmas... which was only $20 per person. My family came here 20 minutes before opening (4 PM) to reserve a time slot in person, and it took us about 30 minutes in line to reserve a time slot on the kiosk. The menu here is always changing, but each station has a specific cuisine it specializes: Seafood, Asian, BBQ, Dessert, Prime Rib, and Hispanic. I loved the seafood section! Raw scallops on the half shell and tuna poke were great. I would not recommend the oysters though. They seemed to be shucked in advance, so they were dry and not fresh. From the Hispanic area, the pozole was really tasty! Flavorful and they didn't skimp on pork or hominy. I loved this. The Dessert bar was okay. By 7:30 PM, they were all out of ice cream. I was surprised and impressed that this was more than a traditional buffet. All the food stays behind the counter and is served by staff. (cleaner/safer!) The menus were also more complex than you'd expect at a buffet. So many options. The spicy orange chicken was the best thing I ate. The salmon and chicken parm were extremely mediocre. I tapped out after just portions of 3 small plates and go for dessert. Great dessert options! Soda/juice is included, but alcoholic beverages cost extra from the bar inside the restaurant. Those drink prices were significantly less than other bars in the resort. Some dishes were not great, but overall we did get our money's worth. Only real issue...I did get sick immediately after. 3/5 From what I tried, I recommend the oysters, the ahi tuna, the waffle and bacon during brunch. The sweet and sour pork and lo mein felt dry and bland, like Panda Express (probably cooked a while ago). The lobster soup and salmon bagel was delicious and freshly prepared. The tacos were perfect, they grilled the tortilla. The mashed potato and gravy was yum but not a fan of the slow roasted prime rib, tasted alright but got sick of it, parts were fatty, parts were dry, maybe if i added some sauce. I love the drinks. Cream soda, Chery soda, Pineapple soda, root beer. and free mimosa. 5/5 Service. everyone there had a smile whether it was forced upon them but I enjoyed that. 5/5 place looks really nice and chic. read more

The cuisine at the food stations are appetizing and very well prepared. Service from behind the stations are friendly and accommodating. The room is large with multiple areas to sit comfortably in a well decorated space. I was there for Breakfast with the Beatles event. A hot tip eat sparingly at the early buffet offered for the event as the high quality food stations didn't open until 11am. read more

I used to come to the buffet in Morongo, but I have not been here since their renovation. I did come here once a few years back and it was not all you can eat. I was in the casino recently and realized that this was an all you can eat buffet, so wanted to give it a try. I think you can make reservations, but I was there during a weekend and was still able to walk in. They have various stations, meat, Mexican, Asian, etc. You order and they will provide the food to you. Some of my favorites were the lobster roll, brisket, pastor tacos. Some of the things I probably would not get again is the oyster and poke (very fishy) and some of the Asian food, which was very dry. Aside from that, you can also pay about $20 for 1 lb of crab, which I did opt for. The crabs were pretty good, but slightly pricey for what it was. I would maybe get an order or two and share depending on how large your group is. The service was pretty good also. The waiter were super prompt and took away all of the dirty dishes. I would definitely come back here. I would say it is a little pricey ($50ish without crab), but I thought everything was super clean and they had enough different types of food to make it worth it. read more

My favorite all you can eat buffet by far! It is expensive BUT I love that no one touches your food except the workers. There are examples of each dish displayed and you are able to order it and customize and it is made fresh for each person. Even the pizza is heated up in a pizza oven for each customer. Everything was so good and fresh, I just wish I was able to eat more! read more

Our 1st time back since it changed. We love it. It is Like a food court buffet. Also like where everyone is not touching the foods plates or saving ware to get the food, all the chefs in the back serve you per plate and what you want and carry back to your table. There are no trays to put it to take the food to take to the table, it's okay, not a big deal. Foods taste great. Love the differnt experience. Enjoyed it. read more

If I could rate it a zero star, I would. Food was dry and not what I was expecting at all. To spend over $101 for two adults to have a mediocre Buffett where it tasted like the food was sitting out for days and was warmed up. The only positive was the salmon dish. Went for Easter Sunday brunch the food at all of the stations was fantastic, the hostess took us to our table and explained to us all the food options. This was an absolutely terrible experience! Although there were seven "stations" (not a buffet in the traditional sense), the selections were quite mediocre at best. I started out with a hearts of palm "ceviche salad" asking NOT to put jalapeños on it. The server obviously forgot! The appetizer section was paltry. Everything looked overcooked, and the dumplings were hardly filled. The fish looked like it was lying there for hours, and it was placed next to the hot stoves, where the workers were cross-contaminating the various pots and pans, albeit wearing gloves. The Pork and Waffles section: overcooked, over-spiced ribs, (no fried chicken?? and obviously no waffles!! The meat carving station: the "sous chef" did not understand English or Spanish (the two most predominant languages of the casino and the majority of the guests). I asked for a slice of medium prime rib (costilla de res de primera in standard Spanish); I had to point at it. Fortunately, it was the only tasty item. Lastly, the dessert section: the doughnuts were worse than Dunkin and Krispy Kreme COMBINED!! The sugar-free mousse was all artificial with little chocolate flavor. My friend does not eat beef, and told me the roast chicken was horrible! El Pollo Loco is much better. Lastly, there's a station to have root beer floats made, but...why can't a patron have just a dish of ice cream? All this for $50 +!!! (extra $20 if you want frozen crab legs)??? Save your money--if you want a buffet, go down the road to Sizzler or Golden Corral. And please have Fabio Viviani return for a refresher course at the Culinary Institute in Poughkeepsie!! There was a lot here that made Marketplace a good attempt at the premier Vegas buffet - away from Vegas. In a post-pandemic world, the format of Marketplace does feel right. Something had to be different in 2025. I've still entered my fair share of the traditional AYCE, help-yourself arrangements. But this was a good version of what could be for a wide range of eateries in the bottomless category. As the name suggests, this grandiose buffet operates like a food hall. There are six or so stations, all specializing in a global or regional cuisine. And patrons order their dishes from a curated menu of mains and sides. There's Mexican, pan-Asian, Italian, soulfood/barbecue and dinner Americana. There's also a dessert station, a bar, and drink stations. Everyone orders from one side of the counter. The chef attendants prepare your dish the way you want it and then you pick up your dish on the other end of the counter. There are no common touch points in which hundreds of people use the same one or two serving spoons to get food on their plates behind sneeze guards. Even gloving up every time you get your food can feel a little old-fashioned, compared to Marketplace's service format. It was nice and the more-fresh quality of the food did feel sustained. There are some drawbacks to this AYCE style that has a little more order and liveliness to it: it's still a buffet so all the food is mass-produced to maximize quick turnover service. The food also keeps to broad flavors that don't go much deeper than salty, tangy or cheesy. In addition, a classic buffet gives you countless opportunities to freestyle your dishes along a spectrum of combinations and volumes. That core buffet dynamic is a lot harder to keep up at stations with prearranged menus. But you do get enough say so when it comes to how you'd like to dress your menu selections. The seafood was the usual highlight, as told by my accompanying family members who helped themselves to plenty of oysters, scallops, lobster rolls and poke bowls. They skipped the crab legs, which does cost extra. I personally enjoyed the cantina and American comfort stations. The place did feel designed to encourage you to visit a new station every time you got up for more food - which in turn added to the comfortable order that Marketplace leads with. The food hall approach is timely and adds the slightest smidgeon of sophistication to this buffet's insides. But after you're full and you leave, it feels like you ate a lot of food - though mostly good - that all just tasted the same as far as depth of flavor. You shouldn't get bored trying items though. Most would be fine eating at Marketplace on occasion and I'd put myself in that camp with a sizeable amount of ease. read more

Came here on a Saturday 6:30pm. Was surprised that there was no wait. So many options wanted to try everything!! Not all dishes taste particularly authentic, but you are bound to find a dish you love! Everything is included, only things that are additional cost are alcoholic beverages and crab legs which you order at the bar. Bring some cash to tip bussers and station attendants, they are quick with service and are very friendly! Truly makes the experience 10x better. read more
