It's been several years since I've been here, no longer work nearby. It doesn't taste the same. Pastrami is now some cheap thin bland meat, fries taste bland and like they have freezer burn, service was mediocre. The zucchini was ok, some of it tasted very earthy, other pieces were good and flavorful. Plus, they charge 3.9% to use your debit or credit card to pay. I'm never returning. Came in here during one of my jury duty days. Ordered cheeseburger with fries. They also serve salsa and chips on the side and it was so good! The servings here are huge. I had to take it home I couldnt finish it. Lol Service is good as well and they are all nice and attentive. Ambiance is chill. It's like a mexican burger joint restaurant. The burger game is competitive. A lot of great spots out there. This isn't one of them. Had a double cheeseburger and fried zucchini. Both were bland / lacked flavor. The meat tasted as if it was not seasoned at all. The breading on the zucchini is very bland. Ironically, there were a few sporadic pieces that seemed to have been salted after the frying process. HEARTY BREAKFAST ALL-DAY! I was so happy to find this yummy local spot across from the Banning Courthouse. I enjoyed a tasty brunch with my fellow jurors and had two English muffins with a side of hash browns. Prices are solid, and the portions are huge! A member of my party had a nice big plate of chilaquiles and they looked amazing! I verified this assumption with a taste and they were indeed good! The staff were quite nice and brought my food out super quick! The restaurant has some booths, tables, and a small counter. It's definitely a fan favorite spot as it's consistently bustling. The convenience of its location, right across from the courthouse, is great when you're on jury duty. Normally, you "settle" for what's there, what's close. There is no "settling" there. The food was great, staff were friendly and they had a wide selection so going there daily wasn't an issue. Everything I tried was good and they have generous portions. Let me tell you about my favorite little place. A couple months ago, I was hungry and looking for a place in the area, seen this places on Yelp, I called to place an order or a cheese burger. They told me that they weren't taking order because they are giving free burgers away that day, and they welcomed me to come by. I walked in, EVERYONE was happy to be there and they were so nice. Let me tell you about the FREE BURGER!!!! It was sooo good, the fries were piping hot and bomb. This burger was 100x better than anything I've had in a long time. INo other business does this which goes to show how much they care about what they do and how much they care about the community, unlike all these corporate chains. Chili cheese fries were the best part!!! Cheesy gooey goodness. Burgers were nice and fresh. We have eaten there multiple times and the service is always excellent. Left a long review about 6 months ago expressing my disappointment with the service after my first time visit. During that visit, the food was great and the service was as well, except for the agonizing delays in getting our complete order. I saw that the business owner Ulises took the time to reply to my review shortly after, so I finally decided to go back and give it another try. As I said before, they have an extensive menu consisting of Mexican and American dishes. My girlfriend was craving Mexican and I was craving American, so this seemed like the perfect time to give La Villa another try. I was very impressed with the service once again, just as I was the first time. We were helped by several servers who were kind, attentive and most importantly, they seemed genuine. My girlfriend was asking questions about the Chile Verde and to our surprise, the gal taking our order offered to bring her a tiny sample. Never have I eaten at a restaurant of any caliber that made such a generous and unexpected offer. Everything was perfect this time, but I do wish I had a greater appetite to have appreciated the food more. This was an amazing first experience. 100% a hole in the wall but surprisingly good food. I was just along for the ride and was really surprised at the quality that they put out there. Everyone goes to this location from law-enforcement, construction, workers, county employees, and everything in between. The burger is the style of a smash patty, but was still juicy rather than dry like a lot of places. The service was very friendly and accommodating. My husband, the salsa lover, likes to try a variety of sauces, and she brought him everything they had. The chips were clearly made freshly that morning, on site, and were delicious. Food is good specially breakfast. Their menudo is very tasty and good size. Services is good. Ambience is homie.

I was totally impressed at how clean this little restaurant is. All the bottles on the table, hot sauce, ketchup, etc. were very clean.
