Absolute gem of a find. Me and my friend were heading back from a morning of shopping and were craving steak and eggs and they fulfilled our cravings ten fold! The steak was tender and not too chewy and the salsa was full of flavor. The service was excellent as well. Came in here during one of my jury duty days. Ordered cheeseburger with fries. They also serve salsa and chips on the side and it was so good! The servings here are huge. I had to take it home I couldnt finish it. Lol Service is good as well and they are all nice and attentive. Ambiance is chill. It's like a mexican burger joint restaurant. Im getting some family vibes here. I recommend. The price is not bad compared to the portion you are getting. read more

The burger game is competitive. A lot of great spots out there. This isn't one of them. Had a double cheeseburger and fried zucchini. Both were bland / lacked flavor. The meat tasted as if it was not seasoned at all. The breading on the zucchini is very bland. Ironically, there were a few sporadic pieces that seemed to have been salted after the frying process. Weird. Not horrendous, just not as good as a million other spots. read more

HEARTY BREAKFAST ALL-DAY! I was so happy to find this yummy local spot across from the Banning Courthouse. I enjoyed a tasty brunch with my fellow jurors and had two English muffins with a side of hash browns. Prices are solid, and the portions are huge! A member of my party had a nice big plate of chilaquiles and they looked amazing! I verified this assumption with a taste and they were indeed good! The staff were quite nice and brought my food out super quick! The restaurant has some booths, tables, and a small counter. It's definitely a fan favorite spot as it's consistently bustling. I'll definitely return to this restaurant again, it's one of Banning's best! read more

The convenience of its location, right across from the courthouse, is great when you're on jury duty. Normally, you "settle" for what's there, what's close. There is no "settling" there. The food was great, staff were friendly and they had a wide selection so going there daily wasn't an issue. Everything I tried was good and they have generous portions. Let me tell you about my favorite little place. A couple months ago, I was hungry and looking for a place in the area, seen this places on Yelp, I called to place an order or a cheese burger. They told me that they weren't taking order because they are giving free burgers away that day, and they welcomed me to come by. I walked in, EVERYONE was happy to be there and they were so nice. Let me tell you about the FREE BURGER!!!! It was sooo good, the fries were piping hot and bomb. This burger was 100x better than anything I've had in a long time. INo other business does this which goes to show how much they care about what they do and how much they care about the community, unlike all these corporate chains. I've gone back several times , the vibe is incredible, and the food even better. Love this place. You should come and try it out. read more

This was an amazing first experience. 100% a hole in the wall but surprisingly good food. I was just along for the ride and was really surprised at the quality that they put out there. Everyone goes to this location from law-enforcement, construction, workers, county employees, and everything in between. The burger is the style of a smash patty, but was still juicy rather than dry like a lot of places. The service was very friendly and accommodating. My husband, the salsa lover, likes to try a variety of sauces, and she brought him everything they had. The chips were clearly made freshly that morning, on site, and were delicious. We were in and out pretty quickly. This will definitely be in our regular rotation for the Fridays where I only get an hour lunch. read more

Left a long review about 6 months ago expressing my disappointment with the service after my first time visit. During that visit, the food was great and the service was as well, except for the agonizing delays in getting our complete order. I saw that the business owner Ulises took the time to reply to my review shortly after, so I finally decided to go back and give it another try. As I said before, they have an extensive menu consisting of Mexican and American dishes. My girlfriend was craving Mexican and I was craving American, so this seemed like the perfect time to give La Villa another try. I was very impressed with the service once again, just as I was the first time. We were helped by several servers who were kind, attentive and most importantly, they seemed genuine. My girlfriend was asking questions about the Chile Verde and to our surprise, the gal taking our order offered to bring her a tiny sample. Never have I eaten at a restaurant of any caliber that made such a generous and unexpected offer. Everything was perfect this time, but I do wish I had a greater appetite to have appreciated the food more. Glad I decided to give it another try; Thank You to Ulises (the business owner) for his thoughtful reply to my original review. My experience today more than made up the disappointment the first time around. read more

My husband & I stopped here for breakfast as we passed through Banning on a road trip. I had pancakes & he had the steak burrito. Both were hearty portions and very tasty. The salsa was DELICIOUS & obviously freshly made. Everyone was friendly & pleasant. Consider stopping at this cute cafe if you're passing through the area. You won't be disappointed. read more

Dropped by on Mother's Day, as the nearby Sizzler was mobbed with 30 people in line. Opted for the club sandwich combo (drink and fries) for $18. A bit steep in price, but the food was O.K..... But, the service sucked swamp water, and I was given no utensils. For my entire stay, not one single server came by to check on me, my needs or even how the food was. WTH? Who runs this place? Where is the manager? Seems like everyone was busy closing up to leave early for the holiday and they forgot they had people in their dining area. read more

Not gonna lie I'm a picky ass water & I was a little iffy at first but let me tell you this is now going to be my go to place to eat. I ordered the an avocado bacon cheeseburger with a side of chili fry's & let me tell you it put in n out burger to shame. It's so juicy & flavorful. The chili fry's are so crispy & fresh, even being underneath all the chili and cheese they still remain crispy & crunchy. I should have posted a picture but my big back couldn't wait. We got the family pack which included 3 hamburgers 3 sodas chili cheese fries, onion rings and zucchini fries. It was all amazing. Chili cheese fries were the best part!!! Cheesy gooey goodness. Burgers were nice and fresh. We have eaten there multiple times and the service is always excellent. If you eat in the place is really nice and clean. I'm never waisting my time at charmers burgers again. Villa burger is where it's at!!! read more

I was totally impressed at how clean this little restaurant is. All the bottles on the table, hot sauce, ketchup, etc. were very clean. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and ask for jalapeños on it and they grilled them, it was outstanding. Their salsa is very good. Their prices are reasonable. It was so good that I promised Christian and his tía, who prepares it fresh every day and serves it seven days a week, that I'd come back the next morning to buy some. A promise made is a promise kept. The very next day, I returned and picked up a few cups of the menudo to enjoy back at my hotel, which was only about a half-mile away. I think 2 of the cooks are tampering with the food. Every time i go in there they stare at me hard as im ordering and then after they make my food they stare at me laughing as i take my food out the store. Im not sure i want to even eat what i ordered anymore cause im afraid what of what they did to it. Crazy how you cant go somewhere to eat without people being evil and messing with your food.
