Been living at the Marston for quite a while now, and it's definitely been one of the best apartments that I've ever lived in for the following reasons: tldr: would absolutely recommend this place to anyone 1. Extremely safe and clean: No issues with pests & no theft 2. Modern appliances & interior design: Love the wooden floors and how modern the apartment is. 3. Super quiet: No issues with noise and respectful neighbors. 4. Parcel lockers: Never had an issue with package theft. Definitely a nice perk. 5. Responsive & Nice Leasing Office Team: Everyone always replies to my concerns in a timely manner and everyone is friendly. 6. Great maintenance team: My requests were usually resolved in 24 hours. We lived in the Marston for a year before we moved to a much nicer apartment nearby for lower rent (Indigo). When we told the manager, Robert that we found another apartment for less, he only offered two weeks free on the higher rent they offered for our second year. We passed, and here's why. When we moved in there was black mold in the washer, refrigerator, and under the sinks. We spent weeks trying to get rid of it. The vent above the range was so dirty that condensed cooking oil was dripping out of it on warm days. We ask them to repair a broken appliance, but maintenance told us it couldn't be repaired so we lived with it for the time we were there. The heating/cooling system was not well maintained and it often couldn't keep the temperature in the 72-75 range. The apartment had a lot of exposed concrete, which is supposed to be an architectural "feature". However, this had a big impact on our comfort and our electricity bill. The concrete tended to follow the average outdoor temperature, so in the winter we were always too cold and in the summer it was always too hot. They never cleaned our windows for the entire year we were there. They hired somebody to do window washing, but they skipped ours for some reason. When we complained about how dirty the windows were they ignored us. The building was overall in pretty poor condition, considering the price. The hallways were not cleaned or ventilated well and often smelled like rotting garbage, mold, and pet waste. The noise from the street was pretty bad even when the windows were closed tight. They didn't clean outside either and the smell of dog urine as you enter and exit the building was overwhelming, especially on hot days. When we moved out, they charged us to repair the broken appliance they had refused to repair when we moved in. To top if off, they had the nerve to charge us for returning the apartment to "as clean as it was before". They must have paid someone our entire deposit to put the black mold and cooking oil condensate back. They told us to use wall anchors to install hooks because there weren't any. But then they charged for wall repairs because used wall anchors. When we complained about all this after being told that they were keeping our entire deposit, Robert's assistant Angela (who is really nice and tries to be helpful) offered to return about half our deposit. read more

Dishonest & Unhelpful Management Team I've lived at the apartment for 3 years, and have such mixed feelings. It has been a fantastic experience ruined by one extremely unhelpful manager, Nassira. Starting with the pros: - Clean & nice building, if you like gym & pool, they're nicely kept - The maintenance team, lead by Witt, are the nicest people. They put so much care when they fix any problems for you - The old management team, Robert and Angelica, were great. In elevator downtimes (and the elevators are down for weeks every rainy season), Robert personally helped me hul some heavy furniture to my apartment. When I'm out of town, the level of helpfulness on packages etc was like I had a concierge team (no longer the case today) Now the cons: - The elevators are down for weeks at a time during rainy season. Don't pick a high floor if you don't want to climb stairs for weeks. This happens every year - Packages get stolen, not often, but it happens - The building is noisy. Most recently there was sewage construction for months with road blocked etc, but there are also random 7am construction starts downstairs. When I reached out to the management team to relay feedback (of course you can do construction, but not at 7am), the response, "call the city yourself" (thank you, Nassira) - Since new management took over, on help with packages etc, you typically don't get a response until you follow up. They often forget to actually do it too. It feels like attention has shifted away from current residents into luring new ones - On lease renewal, I originally decided to go month by month for a bit while figuring out plans, and decided to renew after 1.5 months. The offer came back in April at $3.9k, and I asked whether they can keep my original lease price which is just 1% less (not important, but nice to have). I then flat out do not hear from the team for 18 days on the lease terms despite following up, during which the 12-month rate came back not only without any discount but with an 8% increase to $4.2k (no context, no explanation). When I followed up, the response, "I can confirm this is your rate". Well, thank you for intentionally not responding for weeks in order to fleece your tenants. After 3 years of fantastic experience (less so since Nassira took over), unfortunately dishonest & unhelpful management team just did it for me. I will be moving out in a couple of months. read more

PERFECT STAFF, OUTSTANDING AMENITIES, BEAUTIFUL UNITS. I just left The Marston by Windsor, due to COVID-19, and it was by far the best housing experience I ever had. Before moving to the Marston, we had a chance to visit 4 other condos, and none were matching the Marston in terms of price, unit features, amenities, and staff. Condos usually have problems with the staff and management, but not at the Marston. Upon moving in, Anjelica has been extremely helpful to answer honestly all our questions. Angela helped us find the most convenient parking spot and was very proactive about it. Upon checking out, I wanted to do some paint corrections myself, and the maintenance team gave me for free the same paint they use and a brush. There is not a single thing wrong with the staff and management, and it feels good to live in a place that respects you. The units look very modern and unique. The color of the floor and walls + the cement accent makes them so easy to furnish. Get some plants, some designer furniture, and you will be proud of where you live. The appliances are really good quality. The views you get at the Marston are just the best you can get in Redwood City. See the pictures I have attached! The amenities are really great. You have a gym, mineral water pool, dog park, co-working with printers, meeting rooms and solo office, and so much more that we even discovered some amenities after we moved-in! Anyway, I really enjoyed my time at the Marston, and I'm so sorry I had to leave it. But I hope someday I will be able to call myself a resident of 825 Marshall St. read more

By far one of the best living experiences we had. What makes the Marston home for us is the empathy the staff shows us at every step of any process. We recently switched apartments in the property. Jeannette, Angela and Angelica were super accommodating, ensured we had all the information and answered our bazillion questions super promptly. As we were moving in/out of new/old apartment, Brad and the maintenance staff made our lives much easier, fixed a few things quickly and replaced a couple of items promptly and ensured we checked off everything on our maintenance list. We love living here and we definitely recommend it! read more

The building is great--it's fairly new and has great amenities. Unfortunately, what keeps the Marston from being the luxury property that it claims to be is its poor management. We saw the leasing managers' pitfalls early on, one of which is their habit of lying to residents. In the year that we lived there, we heard from at least 15 other residents who thought it was weird how frequently the leasing managers lied about random things. It was kind of a joke around the building. It might've been funny at first, but after a few months it was a little embarrassing to watch. I personally only experienced this a couple times, like when I notified them that the shared workspace's exterior door wasn't working. The leasing manager suggested that I wasn't opening the door correctly (insert eye roll), but eventually apologized and said they'll have it fixed. A month later it was still not working, so we spoke to another leasing manager who said that the door was never supposed to work because they intentionally leave that door's key reader deactivated. In the year that I lived at the Marston, I never received a key fob that fully worked on all the doors we had access to. My fob worked on certain doors but not others, like the storage unit that I paid for every month. The leasing managers replaced my fob at least three times, and each time the new fob worked on a new door, but not on the doors the previous keys worked on. The last time I emailed them about getting a fully functioning fob, it was Jeanette who replied and said she'll prepare one for me. When I asked how I should get it from her, she never responded. Though Jeanette proved ineffectual, I must say that Anjelica was helpful after we moved out. We had forgotten some items in our apartment that she mailed to us at our new address. Generally, I can't recommend this building. However, if upper management were to sort out the leasing office's issues, this would be a great property. read more

PROS: - beautiful new building - location : tons of restaurant walking distance - moving in was a breeze - thanks to Francis - gym, pool available CONS: - NO SECURITY , there is no doorman or security once the office staff leaves. Even when the office staff is around, they're often not up front as they're touring the place. We've had to call security a few time, and it goes to some third party company. When security never arrived, we called again, and the operator said the security guy is on his way (he was at another apartment complex). We can see the courtyard from our window and we've never seen a security guard out there after hours. - NO QUIET HOURS ENFORCEMENT because of again, NO SECURITY Since no security is out, that also means residents and their guest stay out in the grill and courtyard hour way past lights off time. I saw someone grilling in the middle of the night with their cell phone light once! That's fine and all, but then the smoke smell fills your apartment at 11pm and that is not fun. We tired calling managment to have some kind of security come by after lights out , but again, no one comes. People smoke, drink, bbq smoke blowing into your apt late into the night. - LOST PACKAGES Also because there's no security or front desk, we've lost so many packages. Sure, they have this new locker package system but half the time the delivery people don't know how to load into the lockers and just toss your stuff on the floor. Free for all. Also if you have a large package, it goes into a shared locker and anyone can grab anything. We've lost 400 dollar worth of stuff, thank god amazon is so understanding about refunds and replacement packages. - GYM CARDIO broken - the treadmills and ellipticals have the same touchscreen as a 1999 Garmin, so speeding up and slowing down is a pain in the ass. Now I usually don't complain about this kind of stuff but at 5k of rent a month , I do wish the treadmill screen worked. read more

I have lived in The Marston for 18 months. Such a great building! I've previously lived in two other apartment buildings in the area and this place stands out. Here's what I like: - High quality new construction and appliances. This means good noise and temperature isolation, newest and safest materials, open floor plan with smart storage options and latest technology. - Private offices available for working from home. It's like having another room in your apartment with everything you need for work (desk, wifi, printer, coffee). - Public areas are nice and located throughout the the property. This gives the entire building a familiar and cozy feel. - Maintenance and office teams are friendly and efficient and will help you with anything. A couple of team members changed while I was there and the high service level remained which makes me believe the management company is pretty good. - Location good for both walking into downtown / caltrain or entering 101. This is the best building in the area and likely one of the best in the bay. Everything about it is very solid, you will enjoy living here. read more

I'm definitely happy with my apartment choice. My experiences have been good from the beginning. I moved to CA from DC in December and not knowing the area, took my sweet time making a decision. Jessica showed me available apartments 3 different times before I pulled the trigger on what I already knew I wanted. The building is well run and constructed. The apartments are really nice and I rarely hear any neighbors. The amenities are great, the place is clean, and the staff is awesome. They promptly followed-up on the rare occasion I've needed anything and it wasn't a hassle. I've found them very professional and super friendly. If you're more budget conscious, this likely isn't the right place for you. It's on the higher end; it's also a luxury place. I think it's worth the rent cost with everything I'm getting with the sweet pad and amenities coupled with the quality of the staff. read more

I've lived here for 2 years, and can't say enough great things about the Marston staff who work here! Building/amenities: We've toured every apartment building in redwood city and this is by far the best. Has the best pool, 3 separate rooms for gyms (creates a lot of privacy), and even a herb garden. If you live on the ground floor, your apartment has a beautiful brick wall and high ceilings and looks straight out of pinterest. I've never had any issues with noise from neighbors, which I think speaks to the high end construction of these apartments. The best part though are the Marston staff. They're extremely friendly and helpful. The maintenance team, led by Ron, is extremely responsive - we've never had anything broken that wasn't fixed within the day. The staff makes living at this apartment a breeze. Rent is a big on the higher end but you definitely get what you pay for! read more

We just moved in to the Marston a few weeks ago, attracted by the COVID rates and friendly staff. Angela was incredibly diligent while we were searching, sending us the floor plan, answering questions, and even measuring our apartment for us so we would know the dimensions before we moved in. Since moving in, we have had a wonderful experience. A few minor maintenance requests were fulfilled quickly and the reservation system for the pool and gym is straight forward. We can't wait for the 4th floor deck to open up! Overall, would highly recommend moving here after looking at many apartments in Redwood City. read more

Great Luxury apartment in Bay area for young professional couple who want to be close to the city- but not deal with the hassles of long commute and inconvenience of city living. I found that most apartments in Palo Alto area are outdated and still over priced. This complex has comparable prices- but you get way more for your money : newer facility, great amenities - with less occupants "residents" to share them with! I've been here a few weeks and I love the apartment! It's super convenient to walk around downtown Redwood City. It has all the standard amenities that make for a luxury apartment, and the building is very well constructed. I probably saw six or seven of the other apartments in the area, each of which was quite nice as well but this was my favorite. I have been particularly impressed with management and the staff. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I was originally working with Natallia, who is fantastic, but sadly just moved to another complex. Since I've been working with Jasmine and Francis, who are also both amazing. They really go out of their way to make you feel special and address your concerns in a timely manner. Same goes for the maintenance staff who really value the tenants having a positive experience. Overall a good choice for someone who wants to live in Redwood City. If there is any hesitation to pay SF prices in Redwood City, my husband and I had it, as we both overthink everything. With that being said, we got over that in our first month in or new place and are very happy with our decision. You definitely get what you pay for. Marston is a wonderful apartment home/community and it is not even finished yet. It's extremely pet friendly, modern, upscale, convenient, and absolutely beautiful. Specifically, there are three things about this community that make it stand out in my opinion. 1) The property management- Theresa, the actual property manager has been absolutely amazing taking care of us and treating us as more than tenants. She even corrected me and said, "Not tenants, residents." she makes you feel as if she doesn't have to talk to you, but that she wants to... That is invaluable! The same can be said about Jasmine Vo the assistant manager who was the person we initially dealt with, and who helped us fall in love with a building that doesn't even have the amenities open yet. Both of these ladies make a fantastic property management team. Side note, even the construction and security in the building are so friendly and go above and beyond to take care of residents. 2) Quality- these units are like homes. From the high end appliances and finishes, to the almost soundproof walls and windows, to the large floor plans. Beautiful stainless steel gas stove, double door refrigerator, etc. We have a 2x2 unit with a walk through closet... 1144 sq ft...Beautiful. We have neighbors and have still never heard a peep from them or anyone upstairs. I never thought living in an apartment complex could feel like one of our previous homes. By the way, this place extremely pet friendly, my chocolate lab loves it too. There will be a dog wash station and dog park here soon that we are excited for. 3) Location, location, location! Within walking distance to almost everything you could possibly need or want in the adorable downtown Redwood City. Caltrain is about a 5-7 minute, pleasant walk (so the convenience of the train without hearing it all day and night). Safeway, coffee shops, movie theatre, shopping, restaurants and bars/nightlife are all within the downtown as well and usually within a 5 minute walk of my front door. Amazing. Downtown Redwood city itself is cute, not overpopulated like much of the Bay Area, and safe as far as I can tell. So close to the city you can take a 20-30 drive or hop on the train to be dropped off at a Giants game in the city like we did last week. Alright, I know that was a tad long winded, but I have specifically waited for a month so that I could make a very informed review as this is literally the only review I have ever made on Yelp. I felt compelled to make this my first since I am so blown away by everything at Marston and again, keep in mind, the amenities are not even open yet since construction is still wrapping up the second half of the building. I can not wait for them to open as we have gotten a sneak peak and the dog park/pool/lounge/ gym area is literally the length of the building on the fourth floor overlooking redwood city. Added to that, a rooftop patio on the eighth floor, and a courtyard with bocce ball and life sized checkerboard on the second. So excited!!!! After a year and a half I can say that The Marston is an incredible place to live! The interiors are gorgeous, the amenities are solid, and the people are THE BEST. The area is such a fun, cute little town that's constantly growing and changing. Everything you could want is within a short walk: food, movies, drinks, coffee, Caltrain. It's all there. My boyfriend and I have loved our community since we moved in. However, as almost everyone else has said as well, it's really the people who are truly spectacular. Jasmine, Francis, and Jessica are phenomenal in the front office. Always ready to help and very easily contacted via email for any need. Ron and Shawn are maintenance gods. They do so much to make sure that any issue that comes up gets addressed right away. And then there's Roberto and his crew, who are beyond amazing. He has gone above and beyond in communicating with us in regards to researching our best options and prioritizing what is important for us. He truly made us feel like he has our best interest at heart. While The Marston was a bit above our desired budget, we came back because of Francis and how kindly he treated us. My fiance and I lived in the Marston for about a year and a half. Coming off a rough experience at a different apartment complex that went from great to awful after a management switch, we were in search of a place that would, at a minimum, provide competent, reasonable service to match the high price of rent. After touring all the comparable apartment complexes in the area, the Marston was the clear winner. Not only are the units and amenities (pool, gym, dog park, bike room, workspace, package lockers) top notch, the service is A++. When we moved in, we worked with Jasmine and Francis, who were kind, accommodating, and went above and beyond. When we learned they were moving into new opportunities, we were worried that the service would slip, but the transition to Jessica, to Jeanette and Brenda in the last year was seamless. Ron, the maintenance guy, is the man. He is professional, friendly, and quick. Since this is a smaller unit with just one building, the service and care feels more personalized and they have a great handle on outstanding issues. Other perks: - They offer add-on services, like gigabit WiFi and some home automation services (lights, blinds). - The parking garage has two levels and access to the elevator from garage to the units is key fob restricted. The garage gate was broken for a short period of time and management had security at the entry from 7PM - 7 AM until it was fixed. - Walkable to downtown with easily accessible restaurants, banks, Safeway/CVS/Whole Foods, CalTrain, movie theater etc. - Cement walls give the space a modern, industrial feel and serve as great soundproofing. I hardly heard neighbors and would occasionally hear an ambulance or two due to the proximity to Kaiser, but noise level is not terrible considering you are so close to a bustling downtown area. As a result of breaking our lease, the staff worked with us closely to schedule a pre-move out inspection within our timeline and were transparent about what next steps would look like. Our final statement was entirely fair and there were no hidden or unexpected costs. Our security deposit was refunded in whole, and prorated costs were clearly outlined. Ultimately, we needed to move to a different city and living arrangement, but we loved living at the Marston and will always look back on our time there fondly. Like most places in the area and multi-purpose spaces like this, there will be some amount of sticker shock. The difference with the Marston is that you are getting what you pay for, and then some. read more

Do not sign a lease here - especially if you expect a front office that cares about their residents. A few reasons why: 1. Several burglaries of the year I've lived here. Several brushed off as no big deal 2. Main elevator has broken 4 times in the last 60 days. I have a disabled neighbor who can't easily get to her car. Again, poor communication and at one point it was broken for 3 weeks 3. The biggie - rent increases - often $200-400/month more - most residents cannot stay more than a year here because they get priced out, or the rates are just ridiculous compared to the rest of Redwood City for just as good apartments. 4. Rent increases DURING COVID. My lease renewed April 1, and given my family's hardship I reached out because my rate was raised $200/month which seemed excessive given the market, and the fact that other residents had been given a break. I was told that while they weren't raising rent for tenants for the month of April, since my apartment technically expired on March 31st, I was I eligible. I was offered a one time payment, that would still be around $400 off what I would get from a lease update. And now they have left the opportunity to phase me out with another increase next year. Meanwhile my same unit is now being listed for $700/mo less than what I pay. Then the next year your rent will jump. The building is solid, the residents are solid, but the speed at which things break, are not resolved, or the general way residents are treated does not give me the confidence to refer anyone to Marston - or any Windsor property. The team may seem nice, but when it comes down to it, they will throw you under the bus. There are plenty of other residents who feel the same way but might not post reviews. Beware. read more

Do not lease 838,738,638 nor 538. The construction pounding is relentless. Plus 838 and 738 had recent flooding. We tried to move to the other side of the complex but Jeanette leased the two apartments we were considering. Avoid all interior units that will soon be looking into an office building. We have been here 4 years and the first year was great. Since then a steady decline. The elevators are always down. The place is not clean. read more

I lived at The Marston for one year. I liked the modern apartment and good location close to Downtown and Caltrain. Unluckily, I had a bad experience with the management. When moving out, I explicitly communicated to Jeanette that I would take care of the cleanings of my apartment. I also asked for a list of cleaning standards and offered to inspect my apartment. My emails and requests did not get any answer. A month after moving out, I've been charged for ~$350 for cleaning fees, carpet, and paint. When asking for clarification, Angela first said that there was no agreement of waiving the fees, then that apartment was under review, then provided pictures of a fridge and microwave with some crumbles saying that the apartment did not meet cleaning standard, and finally asked me to provide a vendor cleaning receipt so that maybe some of the cleaning fees could be reimbursed (which makes no sense since I must be reimbursed in function of the apartment status and not of how much I already spent). The whole process took more than a month, the communication via email was really slow, all my phone calls were unanswered, and I did not get any refund. In the meantime, Jeanette disappeared. Interestingly, the same strict hygiene standards do not apply to common areas. Corridors, stairways, and elevators are dirty with pet hair and often smell like pet urine. Trash rooms are often clogged with garbage. Due to my bad experience with management and unfair treatment, I can not recommend this place. read more

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I have lived here a little over a year and the management is beyond lacking. During SIP I asked them to work with me on month to month rent which they took weeks to respond. Just recently I have had a roach infestation that they have again failed to deal with forcing me to call out my own pest control. Their own technician said that it was a "severe infestation" and then left. I pay well over market rate for this place and due to the poor management and unsanitary conditions I am moving asap. I took a self guided tour of Marston in Oct/Nov 2020 and was really impressed by both the modern & clean vibe of both the units and amenities. I would say the Marston is one of the better apartment communities I've toured in the downtown Redwood City area. Applying for a unit was a very quick and straightforward process, and Anjelica & team were very helpful in answering my many questions the entire time. Although I did not end up signing a lease (for reasons unrelated to the Marston), I have only had good interactions with the team here. I would definitely consider applying here again in the future. read more

As a long-time resident, I can honestly say that I adore this place and the people who manage and maintain it. Unfortunately, the building has become unlive-able due to basic issues of sanitation. The trash chutes are clogged with regularity, creating a stench of garbage in the hallways. There is garbage strewn around the dumpsters in the garage where the garbage is kept prior to pickup. The trash cans by the elevators in the garage seem to be emptied at random intervals, leaving them overflowing at times and pristine on occasion. I have brought this issue to the property manager's (Jennette) attention about half a dozen times with little help. The head of maintenance (Ron) is one of the most solid and hard-working guys I have met--and there is only so much that one guy can do. The poor guy even had to work for months without an employee to assist him. This is, simply put, poor management. Don't live here until this issue is resolved read more

The Marston is incredible, and I have loved every second of living there. The amenities are the best, and Francis has been the hugest help- he's amazing! The staff in general has been so attentive and dependable. The location of the Marston is great because it's right downtown and close to the Caltrain/101. I almost never write reviews for anything, but I feel the leasing staff in this building definitely deserve to be commended and recognized. Ever since I first came to visit this building, I knew there was something different about it. Francis, who was my leasing agent at the time, was so warm, accommodating, responsive, and made the whole rental process a breeze. There is a lot to like about this building: - The amenities (while relatively standard for a luxury building in this area) are really nice and well-kept. We use the pool, grill, firepits, gym and lounge on a regular basis--we find they are rarely crowded, and when we do see our neighbors there, they are generally very considerate. - The location was very convenient for my boyfriend and I, who work just north/south of Redwood City. The building is also literally a block away from Broadway / downtown RWC. - The units are clean / spacious / nicely laid out. And the appliances/fixtures are all new and tasteful. But HANDS-DOWN the building's greatest asset is its staff. THANK YOU FRANCIS, JASMINE, NATALLIA (who recently was promoted to a different office), and JESSICA (a wonderful new addition to the team)!!! The staff are incredibly attentive, responsive (I usually get email responses within an hour or two), and are constantly looking for ways to improve residents' quality of life. Based on feedback from residents, the building now has a 24/7 package pick-up, more resident events, a better system for using the firepits, etc. The staff are also very understanding when residents have unusual/extenuating circumstances and will go above and beyond to help you. More recently, since joining the team, Jessica has been especially helpful and accommodating with my questions and requests. If I want to have guests over, or need to travel for an extended period, or have any issue with my experience, I never have to worry that my concerns will be addressed with a warm and understanding attitude. great luxury building in great location with modern technology assisted, e.g. parcel pending, TVs in the fitness gym, nice patio/lounge area w/ BBQ. More importantly, the staffs there are very helpful and friendly, and they know their stuff very well, big shout out to Francis and Jasmine. Also very reasonable in terms of cleaning requirement when we move out. Almost get all the deposit back. Having living at multiple apartment complexes in the bay area, this is one of the rare places that I'd recommend to others. read more

The location and lobby seem nice. And the location is great. Unfortunately I wasn't able to see anything else because no one was in the leasing office for my appointment. I waited around for 30 minutes and took advantage of the complimentary coffee. It's a bad sign if the building office can't even be available for prospective tenants willing to pay exorbitant rents. I'm going to try and reschedule. Maybe someone will actually be around to show me a flat? read more

I recently moved in to Marston and so far I love it. Jasmine Vo has been amazing through the process. Since Marston is a new building it is inevitable to encounter construction delays or small problems here and there. Jasmine communicated with through the entire process and took great care of us as well. The building look great and I love my unit. Jessica gave us the apartment tour yesterday . Jessica is extremely professional and efficient. The charges seem pretty straight forward. The apartment layout, location and amenities offered are great. However , $5900 (additional 100 for parking 1 car, water and garbage=$ 6100) for a two bedroom is a bit steep. Even though, it is a block away from Redwood City downtown and CAL train, we are now considering other options to rent which have same or more amenities if not any less. read more

I recently renewed my lease at The Marston and it was solely because of the leasing office personnel - Jasmine, Francis and Jessica are wonderful. While the amenities of the building are unmatched to any other property in the general area it is SOLELY because of the leasing office personnel that Marston will always be my home of choice. Jasmine and Francis are two of the most responsive, compassionate and caring I individuals I've encountered in a very long time in customer service. They always go the extra mile and is great at anticipating tenant needs before asking. Ron is also amazing. Extremely responsive and helpful as well. We lived here about a year. Place is awesome and the management team is great. Apartments are solid. Quite, modern, and what you would expect for price. Leasing office team was always very nice, professional, and happy to help. When we bought a place they were super helpful with all the paperwork we needed for mortgage. Recommend if you want a place in downtown Redwood City. read more

The woman at the front desk was super helpful, friendly, and was patient in answering all my questions. I don't know if I should write this review about Marston Lennar or the new management company. I have lived here and only experienced great service, until yesterday I walk downstairs and there is a complete different staff working at the property-office. Lennar the management company has sold the building and didn't feel the need to let any of us know. All of the leasing wall has been removed from the property. The motivation wall that I use at least three times a week is no longer in the fitness room. Also, they've let go an awesome management staff. And one of the most friendly respectful and helpful maintenance guys I've ever met in my life. Thanks Marston, way to accomplish a bait and switch. read more
