This review is strictly for happy hour. I noticed all the other reviews slamming dinner service. We met a large group of 20+ friends here for a recent happy hour. The appetizers we ordered were great. The staff did a good job juggling our large group at the bar along with separate checks. The ambiance and vibe of the bar and downstairs dining area is really nice. I reviewing the dinner menu, the prices did seem high to portion sizes. I don't think we would come here for dinner, but if the opportunity arose, we would come back for happy hour.

We reserved prior to going, but honestly, the place was completely empty on Sunday for lunch. We stood in the lobby for 5 minutes, even called, and the phone rang right at the unmanned desk. I had to go upstairs as a last ditch before walking back out The owner/manager was apparently handling a massive party of 35 people upstairs Anyhooo, we were sat and promptly served bite-sized fried poppadums with trio of chutney. Appetizers- shikampuri kebab and chaat were served promptly. Both were lower than mediocre. 1) Kebabs were 2 pcs for 16$ 2) Chaat was ONE aloo tikki(harder than pumice stone) and chhole surrounded by water crackers for 17$ Entrées: 1) lamb Rogan Josh was 50$ for 2 .5 pcs of hardest pieces of meat with over oiled gravy ( it was definitely leftover curry re-heated many times) 2) chicken vindaloo was same 3 pcs for 50$ and hard-charred baby potatoes in sweet gravy 3) pondicherry sea bass 59$ (almost halwa-esque) was as if the fish was rotten, in 3 colored cauliflower puree. It was the worst dish of the lot. 4) dal fry was one cup for 24$ was only good thing 5) good tandoori rotis Waaaaaaay overpriced and stale-reheated food. The staff of one server and the owner-manager were the most sad looking staff. They actually made us feel unwelcome and a bother. Also Sundays, bar is closed Spent 1 hour 40 minutes there and cringed every minute Never coming back

I paid extra for a Pure room. Not sure that did anything helpful. There was a large hole in large windows which allowed for freezing air to constantly draft the room, making it tricky to get the thermostat to a comfortable temperature. I brought our Alexa for white noise, yet still it was difficult to sleep, you can hear everything going on in the hallways. The next morning someone opened our door while I was in the shower, my daughter had to tell them we were still there, they didn't knock or anything. It was only 9am and check out is 12pm. I ordered room service and was shocked to see a $30 service charge on top of a delivery fee AND tip. I was more shocked that after spending over $200 for our dinner that our food arrived in cardboard boxes and to go containers. Most places I go the room service is served on plates with a cloche (domed metal covering to keep the food warm) and wheeled in on a cart. I was handed a paper bag with cardboard and to go containers. We weren't even given plates, my daughter ordered a steak served in a box. How do you cut a steak in a box. So after paying a $30 service charge, plus delivery fee, plus tip I still had to go downstairs to ask for plates while our food got cold. The food also was not that good, so for the price, had I known, I would have gone to one of the local restaurants and brought food back, there's a Ruth's Chris within walking distance. The Market is decent but expensive. The premade sandwiches are VERY dry. I would not recommend. The pool was nice to have, but could use a good cleaning and to be heated a bit more. It connects to the outdoor pool whoch is closed but there still is a draft, and a gap that a towel is somehow wedged between soaking wet to prevent a draft? Breakfast was interesting, the servers was wonderful, however the eggs benedict was odd. The eggs were overcooked and instead of what I normally see as a thin slice of Canadian Bacon, it was 2 huge slabs of ham. The gym was adequate, but overall the hotel could use updating and the food was disappointing, especially since we do enjoy room service when staying at a hotel.

My stay was just ok but the breakfast was good the first day and great the second day which I why I…read moregave it 4 stars although I really wanted to give it 3.5. Actually, it wasn't just the breakfast that I would give high ratings to, the staff was super pleasant and helpful and it didn't seem like they were going out of their way to be helpful, it seemed genuine. The "bad" for me was that the beds weren't that comfortable and because it was 3 of us, sharing a double made it even less comfortable. Part of it is totally my fault (or my parents). I'm 6'4" 270 (ok, I take full responsibility for the 270) but I was hanging off the bed. My height played a negative part in the fitness center. I couldn't use it. I was too tall. There wasn't enough room to put my hands over my head.

When we met Jeff it just clicked he was fun and knowledgable and his pictures are just amazing. The way he captures the fun going on instead of poses is EXACTLY what i wanted. I don't know how he captures us with the perfect lighting while we are being crazy and fun on the dance floor it is an absolute gift. The photos are artwork and we have gotten so many compliments on them . Also jeff style of literally laying on the ground on the dance floor for the perfect shot is the exact reason why his photos are epic. HIghly highly highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for someone to capture you and your guest just having fun instead of boring posed photos (he will do those too ) but he is a truly gifted photographer and such an amazing guy to work with! He assured me that he would look into it and I would get the photos that were taken and I would be reimbursed for half of the cost of the photo booth. After claiming over work, then away on vacation ,then promising that the photos were in the mail and a check for half the cost was being sent via certified mail . That was three weeks ago. To date I have not received anything. This to me shows dishonesty I would suggest that you look for another company to work with. One that will know the meeting of honesty and integrity. I

Sully was on the dance floor and taught line dances and other moves to the crowd. His lighting package and the blacklight event made the party extra special! I am so glad we chose DJ Sully to run the party! Thank Sully, can't wait to work with you again!
