Bartender couldn't remember more than one drink and would go from the bar to POS to type in every single drink no matter the complexity. 25 minutes from sitting at the bar to bottled beer in hand for me. Inside looks like the main building structure is dated but it was updated to look more trendy Staff was nice Cocktails were average We also had the salmon entree which was a plain grilled salmon with small amount of sautéed kale and mushrooms. Where is this mythical oasis that seems to have captured everyone's imagination. Flight is a non-descript hotel bar in the Crowne Plaza Conference Center (think Holiday Inn with mood lighting) that has the advantage of being off the beaten track and as such is never crowded. The perfect rendezvous if you're in witness protection or have infidelity on your mind. Food is also available but you'll wait an eternity, so by all means do have another cocktail and if the spirit moves you, go crazy and everybody Wang Chung Tonight... the guys in sales will love it. read more

This bar is located in Crowne Plaza. I came here this past weekend for a friends wedding and was informed by the front desk, the bar closes at 11PM on Friday. Strike 1. So we decided to leave the property and stayed around the Princeton U area since there is nothing around the hotel. Come Saturday afternoon, around 2:30PM, I wanted a pre-drink at the bar before my friends wedding, at alas, the bar was not open. Strike 2. It opens at 4:30PM. Grrr. After our friends wedding was over by 11PM, I was informed that the bar extended its hours to accommodate the large wedding group. so, no strike 3!. Whew. The two bartenders were fast and efficient, handling our group (must have been over 50 people if not more). Only complaint, we asked for chilled fireball shots and they never chilled the shots. Kudos to hotel for extending the bar hours for us. Much appreciated. They must have seen the $$. LOL. read more

This place is a disaster. Came in to grab dinner and go back to my room. There are literally three people in here with two bartenders working. Just to order has taken 15 mins. Both bartenders are talking about how little their gratuity pay outs have been. Duh. You have stood there for 15 mins talking to your co-worker instead of taking orders. Besides his in-depth conversation about his $123.00 gratuity pay out with his co-worker, he isn't much of a conversationalist for a bartender. He said, "yep" and "ok" in the 45 mins sitting at the bar waiting on my food order. I never expect a quality experience at a hotel bar/restaurant but this one is a complete joke. I am thankful my stay is short because it's delivery vs. having any future meals at this place. Wings: 6 for $10.00 They are small and mediocre at best. Burger: BBQ for $15.00 Ordered Med. OK, I'm not sure why this place is being marketed the way it is, but this is nothing more than a hotel lobby bar. It is not a center for nightlife, it does not have a great dining scene, and you certainly do NOT need to book a table here on OpenTable to get a spot (although you'll get 1,000 bonus points if you do for some reason). While this is just a lobby bar, it's a pretty good one. The staff are professionals and good at what they do. Drinks are somewhat pricey given the ambiance and location, but the fact that you're in the hotel gives them a bit of a captive audience. The food comes directly from the Forestall Grill's kitchen downstairs, and is pretty hit or miss. We tried a quesadilla (not bad), a tomato, mozzarella and vinaigrette flatbread (excellent) and their wings (awful). The highlight from our two visits was their signature martini flight - 3 samplings of your choice of signature menu martinis. The night we tried this was slow, so the bartender gave us the drinks AND the shakers, making it a tremendous value (and a short night before we headed back to the room!). Other drinks we tried were excellent as well. Drinks weren't made particularly strong, but you weren't being cheated, either. If you're staying in the Crowne Plaza, I wouldn't hesitate to head down to Flight, knock back a few and maybe even play a few games of complimentary pool or table shuffleboard. If you weren't staying there, I can't imagine driving over just for Flight. read more

But if your fancy drinks menu is consistently filled with misspellings, and the bartender needs to be told that your martini (from the menu) needs to be served in a martini glass, not a highball glass with a ton of ice, beware! The supposed Lillet in the vesper is, i, think, a well Reisling, and the premium brands listed on the menu did not seem to appear in this poorly made, nothing like a Vesper. Disappointing. read more

I read the reviews expecting a pleasant experience. Not so mich... This is a hotel lobby bar, and tonight's visit coincided with a convention of rowdy and loud guests. The bar was crowded so I occupied a table not far from the bar. Although the bar was staffed by at least 3 or 4 bartenders, not one left the bar to take my order. First of all, I think it needs to be a little more emphasized that this "lounge" is in a hotel. Also, it is not a lounge. Its more like a bar with tables in between floors of a hotel. The hotel is very updated and beautiful...but the "lounge" still feels like a hotel stop. Guests of the hotel walk in and out. One guest came in straight from her room without any shoes on while we were dinning on Saturday. Our bartender/waitress was great, I had a wine flight and calamari. They were both delicious but one of my friends went home sick to her stomach and the other realized the bar had overcharged her card. Will not be returning. read more

I heard there was going to be a Super Bowl Celebration at Crowne Plaza's Flight Bar and decided it would be a great place to watch the game with some friends. It was festively decorated with balloons and two large screens in addition to their regular TVs. They even did raffles at the end of each quarter which was a nice surprise. They had bar specials for both drink and food items which was a nice touch. The wings, nachos, ribs and Caesar salad were all delicious! They had a good variety of liquor to choose from at reasonable prices and we even ordered a pitcher of sangria which was a big hit! We ended the night with an assortment of desserts-the apple one was my favorite! The staff was friendly making conversation with us and very attentive throughout the night, thank you Calvin, Jose and Natalie! We will definitely be back! read more

Happy Hour - will not make you Happy! The choice in cheap "house" wine and sprits is aweful; The happy hour food selection is "one" choice a day (Wednesday is wing day). The wings had no flavor and you get 6 wingettes for $7.00. Rip off!
