My husband and I sat there at a table for 15 min and finally a waitress said I will find your server . A waitress came up took our drink order but did not give us menu s . We sat there waiting for drinks for 10 min when I told my husband let's go . I know how this is gonna turn out and it's starting off bad . Bad service but great food . The restaurant is located in a shopping center so parking is not a problem as a rule. My husband and I have eaten there many times and the food has always been good. I have health issues, so if the food is not fresh, or the oil is old, etc. I'll get sick. I love the food there and my favorite is their fried oysters. It's that time of year when I go to the Mayflower restaurant here more often. We're local, so we sit inside and eat. My husband picked up my plate on Wednesday night 12/18/19 of flounder & popcorn shrimp . When I say it was not eatable I'm not exaggerating, where there should have been white flaky meat in the flounder it was brown , hard and crunchy, same with the shrimp , both fried to death .... I called and asked for a refund & was told if we brought the plate back they'd give me another one , first of all I never want anything from there again and we live in Timberlake on the Orange County side so we weren't driving back at 8:00 . My wife and I ate there and found the food excellent. My wife had a shrimp platter and loved it. I had a combo of chicken and shrimp scampi. It was excellent. My plate had 3 large chick breast that were well seasoned. The scampi was delightful. The portions are large and the wait for a table was none we walked right and grabbed a table. read more

REALLY DISAPPOINTED ON CHRISTMAS EVE DAY!!! We called ahead (around 1:30), after going to the other location in Danville and finding out they were closed, they answered and said they were open until 7:30. Then we drove straight there, a 45 minute drive, and they had locked the doors. There was even someone inside eating Chinese food from the place next door waving us off with his mouth full saying they were closed. As we were trying to figure out somewhere else to go a lady showed up saying she had ordered a "pick-up" from a lady in black and they wouldn't let her get her food. Another group then drove up in 3 separate cars saying they had also called and was told they were open. This group had driven up from Georgia with their mom to take her out to seafood! Very poor customer service. After we called they should have waited a bit before closing the doors. We are from Portland, Oregon and were trying to have a nice seafood dinner with our dad and this is how they treat us. read more

Great seafood. I recently got the large popcorn shrimp platter. The shrimp was delicious but the fries could be better. The fries are different than other Mayflowers I've visited. I would recommend using the same crinkle cut fries as the other locations. read more

Sorriest place! Attempted to eat lunch there today. Big mistake. Flounder wasn't done on the inside. I picked through both pieces, raw. Told the lady at the front. She acted like she could care less. I called in my order and was standing in line at the take out area when the lady who works there didn't acknowledge me, walked off and never came back. In the meantime, another lady came in and stood beside me looking the menu. When the guy finally came, he asked her could he help her first and I spoke up to let him know that I was there first. He said that "he didn't know" and I said "you didn't ask". Then he got my name for my call in order and then looked over my head to still take the other lady's order because she didn't call but wanted to place an order. I gave him a look because now my food is getting cold (I've been there about 10 minutes now) and he was trying to take her order because he was having to walk back and forth, but then huffed, turned around and stomped off to the back to get my order. Came back with an attitude, so I said your customer service is horrible and he says "no it's not". I said yes it is, he says but I didn't say anything, I said you didn't have to. At this point I just want to pay for my food and I decided to never order from this place again.
