Anyway, since then I've been back 3 more times; once for breakfast and twice for brunch. And while I'm confessing, the two times for lunch were on subsequent days. Yeah, they're that good. Actually, their chicken salad on a croissant is the best I've ever had and in my advanced years I've had a crapload of chicken salad. The have a nice sized coffee bar, decorated beautifully with some pretty delicious looking pastries. I'm on an anti-sweet phase so I'm basing my opinion on only on appearance. Then there's a seating area when you can eat, served by a friendly attentive staff and an adjacent boutique area where you can purchase housewares, clothing and other cool stuff. I'm not in Maplewood all that often, generally when I'm shopping at the equally awesome City Workshop but when I do, I always make sure to hit up Perch. You should too. 1/2 star deduction because they don't offer fake sugar, just that Stevia crap which is gross.

Well this company rents them separately, but at no point made us aware of this. They have an after hours "Emergency Line" that we called over 30 times and the owners answer to me was " we answer the emergency phone the other 51 weeks of the year, this week we didn't", We that didn't help when I had to have people running up and down the street using neighbors ovens to try and serve warm food. The Smug owner then said, well I wont charge you for the proofing box. When asked how he was going to compensate me for having to hire neighborhood kids to run food all over the pace to warm it up, he said I'm not charging you for the proofing box (that i couldn't even use) and that's it. Do yourself a favor, and use a better company then this. This guy is a joke, and doing business that way, it shows

I'll review this in four areas: the equipment, the backoffice service, setup, and breakdown. Rented equipment: The actual rented stuff was excellent: great condition, solid pieces. Exactly as expected and suited our needs perfectly, working within our budget. Backoffice: In deciding what we needed, they have always been great, and their advice "spot-on." Their internal team is great at communicating with calls to confirm when set up and break down would be, and flexible to our needs. Plus the three people I talked to over the period of time were really nice. Set-up: So easy. Explained what they were doing, put the tent exactly where I marked (and had to really fight against rocks to do so!), and were really nice but didn't stick around talking forever Break-down: Also REALLY easy, and very fast. Again, guys were really nice but not chatty in a way that got me stuck talking. From soup to nuts these guys rocked it. Having a backyard party for 100 people is stressful, but knowing that A Party Pleasing Rental took care of us was a big stress reliever! We'll keep using them and will highly recommend them!

I had my wedding here and I had a wonderful experience up until I met the owner's wife. To keep it short and sweet, they have great help and the building is beautiful. However, if at all possible AVOID THE OWNERS!! At the end of my wedding the wife was doing everything in her power to get me to leave the building and leave my gifts/center pieces there to pick up the next day while my dad was getting a car for the stuff. Our wedding ended at 5 pm, and it was 4:55. So we didn't over stay our welcome so I could not rationalize why she was being so pushy saying the shuttle was going to leave me there if I didn't leave everything and go. AI kept saying to her "madam my dad is getting the car and can I please just have one minute". 4:46 my dad was there with the car and everything was loaded up. Really weird but left an awfully sour taste in my mouth. read more

Was a guest at a wedding at Meadow Wood Manor on Saturday,,April 11, 2015. I must say that very thing was wonderful, from the Ct. hour with a great variety of drinks and food, including a Sushi station to excellent service from a professional and friendly staff. Constant service at tables for the dinner and making sure your meal was cooked to your liking. And dessert stations set up in another room with so much to offer. Management also went around asking and checking that everything was going well and guest were happy. Rooms are spacious and there is an outside patio weather permitting. And nice and roomy and very clean bathrooms. An A plus for that alone. I would definitely recommend the Meadow Wood Manor for a lovely wedding or any other affair for a time to remember. read more

EASTER was OUTSTANDING!! We have been to the Meadow woods for other occasions. The first was my daughters wedding. I was blown away then, and they have not let me down. This was our first easter and from the moment you walked in the door they make you feel welcomed and special. The staff, I can't say enough about. We had Kathleen and Milton as our servers, and they were fantastic. It was so relaxing. You were not rushed at all. The food was fantastic. I would recommend this to everyone!! Today is Easter Sunday and our family enjoyed a fabulous brunch at Meadow Wood Manor. The food was phenomenal and the variety was amazing. Our table of 9 was serviced by Beckie and Dan , who made the day even more enjoyable with their attention to detail, up beat holiday enthusiasm and personal interest with each member of the table. Just returned from Easter dinner, it was exceptional. Our servers Joe and Alysa did a great job providing drinks (free) and cleaning the table between plates. The food display was extremely well placed and the food was as always above average. What needs special mention is the table built especially for children, my grandaughter was so excited to choose her own delights. My husband and I spend every Easter and Mother's Day at the Meadow Wood Manor. It is just the two of us because we do not have family in the area and we are never treated any differently than a larger table that would obviously be leaving a larger gratuity. Very cute room. I loved the high bed platform. They do have a restaurant inside which I didnt try…read more I was just there due to the weather that my job set me up with due to the weather. They do have great customer service and was able to let me check in early. Cute for a little bed and breakfast with that special someone
