There was meat, but a large portion of what we got was fat, which made it feel like we didn't get the value we paid for. When you're paying higher prices at a butcher shop, you expect better trimmed, higher-quality cuts. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience. It was frustrating to see so much fat was in the meat. It's chewy and an edible. We hope they pay closer attention to the quality and trimming of their meat, because at those prices customers should be getting much better.

Before leaving, I decided to grab about 2 pounds of pork pastor for dinner, and asked if they could cook it for me. I was genuinely shocked in the best way at how affordable it was. The price for the meat plus the cooking fee came out to less than $10. When I got home and tried it, all I can say is wow. The pork was incredibly flavorful, tender, and absolutely delicious. The next day when I returned to pick up our large order, everything was ready right on time. The team went above and beyond by helping load everything into my car and even placing napkins underneath the trays to prevent any spills. That level of care really stood out. At church, everyone kept talking about how great the food was. The chicken and steak were both big hits, the beans were very good, and I was honestly surprised at how fresh and flavorful the guacamole was. All in all, this was a top-tier experience.
