This place has really gone down hill. It used to be my go-to spot but not anymore. First off they don't take phone orders anymore so you HAVE to go in person which is a inconvenience for people who just want to grab their food and go, not to mention their side orders that come with the meal are a rip off because it's basically one tablespoon, they no longer display the prices on their price board & so on. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Owner is extremely rude. I hate even coming here. Someone PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEE open another fish market and run him out of business. The portion sizes are for children compared to other fish markets locally. I miss L.A so much dealing with this place. I found this place a month ago or so. The first visit I was so excited because we had a fish place in our little city. My first visit was fine although I had to pay $3.00 extra for a side of collard greens which okay, that's fine. The portions were a bit small but the food was great. Then I went for a visit today. I was extremely disappointed. The portions were as if they cut the catfish fillet in half. I only received 3 hush puppies and then my jumbo shrimp wasn't jumbo at alI. I would've given them 5 stars for taste alone but had to give 3 for the extremely small portions. As you will see the macaroni salad was placed in a container you'd normally put sauces in. I did eat 2 shrimp before I put it all on a plate to show the small portions I was given. I'll probably be heading back to Moreno Valley for my fish. Finally, a fish market that has buffalo fish. I tried to call ahead for 2 lbs of buffalo and 2 lbs of catfish. They wouldn't cook it until I came and paid for it. That cost them 2 stars. I don't wanna hang out at this sketchy strip mall waiting for my order. Secondly, it's very pricey. My order was almost $50. In a good note, they cooked and seasoned the fish perfectly. read more

Racist restaurant! This guy was extremely rude to me for no reason! I asked what size fries come with the family meal. He said the same small size you get anywhere else. I let that go... I wanted to change my order adding more fries and an additional side. He something rude but wouldn't repeat it. He looked at me with so much hate. Keep in mind, I have not uttered one negative word. He rudely goes over my order and asked did I want anything else. I said no thank and canceled my order. I did not trust him to cook my food. I was so uncomfortable with bring the food to my family. They will never see a dime of my money. I'm glad that he was open about his feelings. I can't imagine what he would have done to our food. I choose the tilapia fish, which was really good but the shrimp was far from being jumbo. The sides were potato salad and coleslaw. The coleslaw was actually excellent but potato was ok.
