iced maple brown sugar latte

came by between classes to try out this new coffee stand inside the ureach cafe. my friend and i ordered the iced maple brown sugar lattes and we both thoroughly enjoyed our drinks. finally a place on campus with some caffeine woot woot!!!

Truck
Jenna O.

This place was easy enough to find with tons of parking the morning we went. This is a coffee truck though, so that means no indoor dining and there was chairs for people to sit. There was a university near by so I imagine during the week, specifically during the school year, they might get busy, which is not bad but it is nice to know it is in the area. They didn't appear to have any food options available, but they did have a decent drink menu and tons of syrup flavorings, more than it feels like the average place would have. The cappuccinos were average, not sure I'd go back again for the coffee, but maybe for the convenience. One unique thing about this place is they had cute handmade punny greeting cards for sale. The lady in the truck didn't seem very welcoming, but wasn't rude. I expected a little more excitement, but it was a Sunday morning, so maybe people were sleeping in or tired.

Strong coffee with different flavors and friendly service just adjacent to main campus. Very quick and convenient instead of standing in line for a chain coffee shop. I was out in less than 2 minutes.

We were in the area and needed coffee for all the errands! Hopped on Yelp and found this gem. What first grabbed my attention was the name - too cute! The truck is adorable too. Just got a basic iced mocha. It was SO DELICIOUS!! I was only bummed because I wish their biggest size was just a little bigger. I'll definitely be stopping by if I'm in the area again.

I'd heard lots of great things about this place and I was excited to try it out. "Lo Melinda's" is a cafe located in San Bernardino County's city of Loma Linda. Its name is a play off of its hometown, and a very clever one at that! They offer warm drinks and other products to help you get through your day. My fiancé happened to know of the baristas and they struck up a conversation while I checked out the menu. One of the things I like about places like this is the fact that you can have a short chat with the workers and that helps with being comfortable to order and order more. I had the toasted marshmallow mocha with almond milk. Maybe it was the flavor pairing I chose but I didn't really taste too much toasted marshmallow but it still tasted great! We were there at a time that seemed pretty chill so there wasn't too much foot traffic. This shop may serve coffee, it is in a medical building with white coats and scrubs everywhere. Tables and chairs are there for your convenience and the lighting is great for the indoors. Parking can be a challenge but not impossible. All in all, I enjoyed my drink and would love to pick up another. Support this local business and share this with your fellow coffee drinkers!

It's a great spot that is a nice walk from the hospital. I bring my team here for an afternoon pick me up. They have a variety of different beans from the various cities that the seventh day Adventist colleges are at (e.g Napa roasting company). Also with fun names like "Randy Roberts" (a local pastor) for the Arnold Palmer. They have the standard variety of syrups for their espresso and the cold brews.

My go to place to get my chai latte fix! It is a coffee truck that is located very close to Loma Linda University - a 5 mins walk from the library or hospital. I always order iced chai latte with oat milk since day one. I like that the sweetness level is just right, I can taste the spices and even see them, and it is not watery at all even with ice. They also sell some flowers and cards, which I think is very cute! I took a point off just because on some days the chai hit me more while on some (very very) few times the flavor wasn't really

Really appreciate their service to the medical community during the covid shutdown! Such a blessing :) Big fan of their iced tea lemonade, the Randy Roberts. Update: the rose lemonade is amaaaazing!!!

Lo Melinda's! You are a long time coming! Since working at LLU for about 3 years now, I always wondered why no one has capitalized on the lack of legit coffee that everyone is desperately looking for. I temporarily had that fix when Boba Tea House was on campus for a time. But when they left...I was hurting. I saw a friend post about this place not too long and I thought it was on the other side of the hospital, so I never really thought to check it out anytime soon. Fast forward to last night, where I left work at 7:00pm, got called in around 11:30pm, left around 1:30am, called back in at 5:51am and here til 7:00pm today. To sum it all up, I'm exhausted. I was thinking of driving to Stell's or Augie's and on my way, I remembered this place! So I popped it in my GPS and got lost and couldn't find it! I ended up parking and thankfully they had an option to text your order and picking it up. So I texted the number to ask how to find them! Whoever was responding to my texts was very helpful and I eventually found them! They're on the cross street of University and San Juan. I love their Adventist Heritage coffee names and the different roasters they have. I ordered a honey cinnamon latte with oat milk for my coworker and I. Delicious! I'm telling everyone about this place! So happy they're here! Check it out for yourself!

Iced maple brown sugar latte with oat milk

This is my second visit and I love how the espresso tastes! I ordered my husband and I each an iced Maple and Brown Sugar Latte with Oat Milk. He actually commented on the flavor being much better than chain coffee places. I understand that the flavored syrups are homemade too. This coffee truck is very cool. I'm definitely coming when I can. The hours make it hard for me to stop by on weekdays. They also sell flower arrangements and cute handmade cards. You can also pick up some branded merchandise while you are their should you fancy it.

Such a great name!

First to review! Lo Melinda's is a new coffee truck that just started in October 2019 and is parked across the street from Cafe Society. They're definitely trying to meet a huge demand from LLU students and employees since the next closest coffee shop from campus is Starbucks on Mountain View ave. They source their beans from different roasteries next to the major SDA colleges, from Walla Walla Roastery to Mean Mug Coffee, The Mill Coffee & Tea, Napa Valley Coffee Roasting Company, & Coffee del Rey. My wife ordered a chai latte and I ordered a cappuccino. The chai latte was a little too sweet but it had a good chai flavor. The cappuccino was great and had a very smooth taste. Since it was both of our first time there, the server was very nice and gave us a buy one get one free deal! Hours are currently Monday - Friday, 6am to 2pm, and Sunday, 7am to 2pm. We'll definitely be back again!

There are only a few places to eat open for breakfast and other times. Unfortunately, the place was under renovations at the time of our visit. I was not able to go inside or see what the inner decorum looked like. Instead, I had a nice meal outside in the seating area. The food is pretty standard in terms of early cafe. I was kind of expecting more of a brunch menu. Instead, it is mostly breakfast sandwiches and other cold cuts. I did order the namesake of the store, the Stell Club. For me, the food was average. I think the best part of the meal was the bread. It was crunchy and moist enough. The sandwich meats were definitely on the dry and salty side. I wonder if they were fresh cut. Similarly, there was some sauce but I did not notice it very much between the mayonnaise and other condiments inside the sandwich. I don't know if the idea is to make the sandwich extra salty so I'll buy more drinks. I would rate this place in the category of come here if you're starving, wait for a different place to open if possible.

I don't know what it was, but everyone in there silently scowled as we walked in, and it didn't get any better in the time we got our drinks and settled in with some pastries. We opted to sit outside, which was a bit better... at least free of the strange judgment indoors. The coffee itself was nice, and those who follow my coffee shenanigans know I usually order a cappuccino to try somewhere new, and it was quite nice. Even the little pastry I ordered was nice. I'd certainly recommend it to people in the area, though I don't imagine I'll be back soon, both for practical distance reasons and... who knows, maybe waiting until the studious clientele has gone back to school for the year.

This Sunright is my weekly pick me up. Through sick days and bad weeks or weather, I can always count on my strawberry yakult drink. I love the fruit drinks here but when I'm feeling like something extra sweet, I sometimes get the frosties or the matchas. The addition of aloe to the topping menu made my boba days 130384x better. Even though we regularly frequented a Sunright location back home, this location actually feels like a local establishment. They know my partner's name and chat with him (when it isn't too busy) and have helped him through several online ordering issues. He's gotten to know way more of the bobaristas here than back home. The inside is a standard Sunright. This chain is very much grab n go style, often in quite small business locations. They decorate sometimes for the collab events, it's cute! Even though it's small it luckily gets to participate in most of the Sunright collabs (except that one bread collab).
