Had an enjoyable birthday celebration for a friend here the other night. I joined a couple of my friends and their kids for a milestone birthday. It was us three adults and 4 children. We were seated at 5pm and walked through the menu/options- lots of options! We got a couple of the four course options and then added two kids meals and that was more than enough for all of us. This place is definitely a splurge - for both the stomach and the wallet! But it is worth it, especially for such a special occasion. Be careful not to fill up on the cheese alone, because you could easily do that. Anyone who actually has room for chocolate at the end is doing something wrong! I enjoyed the assortment of fruits and breads in the first round, the salmon, chicken and steak all went great with the main course. And melted chocolate to top it all off - nothing more needs to be said. Service was friendly and attentive, especially considering we had 4 children all under 10 years old in tow. I've driven by this spot many times and am glad I finally had a reason to stop in and enjoy a feast. Very pleasant experience. Came on a Wednesday evening at 6:30pm for their Crave Combo. $38 for two for a cheese and dessert fondue, bar dining only. There were three bar seats left so I was able to snag two for my friend and I. Our server was very friendly and efficient. I liked that they did notice my friend and I were catching up and talking a lot so they did minimal interruptions which is always appreciated and didnt feel forced on their behalf either. We decided on the alpine cheddar fondue with came with vegetables, bread, apples and grapes. The smell of the cheese was not the best but it was very delicious. We added the sausage dippers and it was very delicious. I also added their garden salad which was delicious! It tasted super fresh and the vinaigrette gave it a sweet but subtle taste and it all paired well with the cheese fondue. We decided on the ying and yang chocolate fondue was it was great to enjoy a nice sweet treat after the cheese and catching up with my friend. All delicious. Came with brownie, rice crispier, starters, banana and pound cake bites. It had been a while since I had visited and im glad I did. I don't even know where to begin! We had a reservation at 8, and were seated within minutes of being there. I paid extra for candles since it was our anniversary, and had told them prior that it was. Madisyn was one of the best waitresses we have ever had. This isn't just dining, this is a wonderful experience. She was so wonderful with explaining everything as it was my first time there. Just give me all the bread and apples! 2) Salad: California salad because candied pecans on salads with a berry dressing is always the move. 3) Entree: For broth, we stick with the traditional court bouillon. Can't really go wrong with any of the meat combos but I usually get the Pacific Rim and that teriyaki steak is BOMB, especially with all those yummy sauces -- you can just dip to your heart's content! Soo good! I went with my mom, and a friend and her mom for my birthday and it was such a fun experience! We got the cheese fondue and then we got the baked potato fondue, and for dessert we got the cookie butter crunch fondue. Dinner was very good and the service was great! Nothing too major, not enough for me to ever hammer them here. However last night everything was spot on 100%. Every bite was amazing from the cheese to the meat. We had to do a to go on the chocolate We just couldn't eat another bite. I must have said "I can't eat anything more" 5 times and then made another Green Goddess battered mushroom and ate it, long uncomfortable ride home lol.
