We took our kids to The Melting Pot in Town & Country, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish! Our server, Ty, was exceptionally friendly and provided fantastic service throughout the meal. We ordered the 4-course experience for the adults and the 3-course meal for the kids. The ambiance was cozy and comfortable--perfect for a family night out. We started with the Fiesta and Wisconsin Cheddar fondues, then chose the Court Bouillon for the kids and Coq au Vin for ourselves. Both were excellent, and we loved the variety of meats and dipping options. Dessert was the highlight! The Yin & Yang and Flaming Turtle chocolate fondues were absolutely delicious. Overall, it was such a fun and memorable dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

We dined at The Melting Pot as a little celebration. My husband has never been. My last visit was probably 20 years ago. We were sat in a very comfy corner booth for two sitting next to each other. Very nice. We decided on the 4 course for two. Which consists of cheese fondue, salad, entree fondue and then chocolate fondue. A great choice for the full experience. First off, Michael was our server and he was excellent. He did a fantastic job of explaining what he was doing making the fondues and explaining the charcuteries of food for dipping each time they came out. The four course option lets you choose your fondue /cooking options, cheese, entree and chocolate. Salads came out first, I went with the house salad which was very good. Then we choose the spinach artichoke cheese which was a great choice for us since we love spinach artichoke dip. Plate of breads, apples, grapes came out. My favorite course by far. Then we went with the traditional oil for the cooking method. This is where we didn't think things out. My husband does not like fish or seafood. His entree consisted of all steak and pork. I ordered a combo of steak, chicken, salmon and shrimp. I waited until he was done eating before I cooked the seafood so it would not give the oil that fishy taste he dislikes. Neither of us cared for the batter we could dip our raw meat & vegetables in before cooking. Just seemed heavy and tasteless. It also fell off and burned in the bottom of the oil. The Melting Pot does have an online timer for all the meats which was pretty cool. You have three skewers so you can cook multiple at a time. This part is very messy and keeps you busy cooking& eating. We also felt very full after. Neither of us eat a lot of fried food...so, it wasn't the best cooking method for us. Then, the table was cleared and it was chocolate fondue time. We went with the turtle pecan which was another great choice. Plate of sweet cakes, strawberries came out. We were definitely stuffed to the brim when we left. Our thoughts later. It was a unique eating experience and we were glad we satisfied the curiosity of doing it. But, I think we will keep making an occasional cheese fondue for home. Or, maybe a good girls night with wine and cheese fondue.

The Melting Pot is a great place to go if you are looking for good food and an experience! I love the variety they have to offer, but if you are going with a small group/one other person I would recommend you choose someone who shares the same flavor pallet, as you need to agree on the cheese, cooking style, and chocolate! I think it's important to note that if you plan to do one of their 4 course meals, you will be there for a while. Everything has to be cooked, consumed, and cleared before your next course comes. If you get an entree, it comes raw and you cook it at the table, if that's not your thing then I would recommend you stick to the cheese and chocolate only!

We came on a Wednesday night to celebrate our friend's birthday. I was surprised that it was very full during the week day. There were a lot of people! We chose the high tier which is $67 per person that includes everything. We did in fact enjoyed every course we have the waitress was super sweet. Many choices for our main course and taste very good. We did not order fancy drinks because they were very pricey. Man the bill was high. I normally do not spend that much for one person. So this place truly is for special occasions for ordinary people. Unless you are rich and do not mind the grow big bucks for dinner, then it is all good. I give three star just because it is very pricey.

The staple of fondue! If you haven't been to a melting pot then you're missing out on simple entertainment here. Not only do you get to play with your food but you get to eat the food! The process is pretty simple, if you don't understand the server will explain it for you! The menu is huge so you have sooo much to choose from. This menu has great options for all diet types. This is the perfect joint for a quiet date night or bring the whole family & have a party! There's more than enough space for every one to share.

The Melting Pot in St. Louis was the perfect spot to dive into Oktoberfest! Fondue is always a good idea, and dipping all the things in gooey cheese is heavenly. We opted for the Surf n Turf, and I shamelessly devoured almost all the "surf" part--who can resist that fresh seafood, right? #stlouispescatarianapproved The whole experience of cooking and dipping right at the table was interactive and fun. To top it off, we fully embraced the Oktoberfest spirit, donning some fun outfits, which only added to the festive atmosphere. We definitely play too much and the Melting Pot leaned in!

Entree selection. Beautifully seasoned and comes with great dipping sauces. Try all the sauces and then ask for more your favs.

The melting pot isn't just dinner, it's a complete fondue experience. It's about $70-80 per person to do it right so we save it for special occasions but it's worth it. Get the full experience including cheese fondue, salad choice, entrees, and chocolate dipping dessert. Coq au vin is the best cooking style. You can ask for more dippers for the cheese and dessert! You can't go wrong with any of it but don't be afraid to try something out of the standard, the best cheese is the loaded baked potato and the best dessert is the banana foster. Be prepared to eat too much, feel way too full later, and regret none of it.

The Melting Pot never disappoints. We came here for a special dinner with my daughter for her 17th birthday. The food was great, our waiter was knowledgeable and kind, and the restaurant was clean. I love how long the experience takes with the four courses. It gave us lots of quality time to talk and laugh together. Thanks for a memorable birthday dinner!

I had visited the Delmar Loop Melting Pot numerous times before they closed, so I decided to check out this location for the first time last night. We had reservations for 5:30 and arrived right on time, but we still had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. It was quite busy for a Wednesday night! Our server Jesse was wonderful. He was very attentive and energetic, and he checked in on us frequently. I definitely liked the interior of the Delmar Loop restaurant better than the Town & Country location. The restaurant was clean, but the overall mood is not as inviting. I was a little surprised by the amount of time it took for the food to come out, considering all of it comes out raw. Not exactly sure what might've caused the long wait, but the rest of our experience was great. The food was exceptional. We did the Endless Entree special for $54 per person, and it was a pretty good deal. I especially liked the seasoning on the chicken. We chose the Coq Au Vin fondue cooking style, which includes burgundy wine, mushrooms, scallions, and garlic. It was absolutely amazing! For dessert, we chose the Bananas Foster fondue. I like that they will bring out more dippers to use the remainder of the chocolate. Prior to last night, I had only ever ordered milk or dark chocolate fondue, so the Bananas Foster was a nice switch up! Overall, I had a very pleasant experience.

First of all, great environment, offer inside and outside seating. The drink selection were amazing, their mojito was so fresh and delicious. For the dishes we ended up with the risotto, the Yukon potato, and the spicy shrimp pasta. Honestly it blew me away. The flavor and taste was right on. For people who likes more bland and simple taste it might feel a little overpowering but for someone who grew up with Asian seasoning and flavor it was like heaven. I will be back many more times because I would like to try everything on the menu and I will be inviting everyone I know to try as well! Service was great, you can tell staff are busy but they are very attentive, parking could be a little tricky but there are many places you could park down the street or just in parking lots behind Main Street and just walk to the place. Highly recommend!!!

Adding the dip on top made it more of little pizza bites instead. Table favorite! Rigatoni alla vodka is my favorite pasta and I've had it at multiple establishments including my own kitchen and this one wasn't anything special. I actually couldn't taste the alla vodka part at all. It really just tasted like cheesy pasta with salmon. No real flavor. I guess that's why it's not listed as a crowd favorite. Ambiance is low lit and in the main dinning area, it can get really loud so if anyone is hard of hearing, it's best to get a reservation outside as it was difficult for one in our party. It didn't help that our waitress would step two steps back away from our table and let other waiters and waitresses pass in front of her instead of behind. Street parking is horrendous but my in-laws were able to find a spot right out front. We opted for the parking lots in the back as we don't mind walking a bit. It did rain a bit but we had an umbrella.

One from our party was running a bit late so we would order ahead of time so that by the time she got there food would be ready and we wouldn't waste time. This was not the case. While our waiter was nice, he fell short by not fighting for our food to get done or even take our order before the other two parties that arrived after us. Very disappointing. Especially since our orders took even longer? We only had about 10 minutes to eat before we had to go. Only one from our party finished his food and that was only because he scarfed everything down fast like Kirby. There was no excuse for it being busy since it was just the three parties mentioned. This is probably why the ratings are low and why it was so empty. Learned our lesson. I ordered the double. At first glance it reminded me of an in and out burger. The taste? It reminded me of a big mac. The only difference would be the fries and the classic red robin spice. Which for some reason there was none sprinkled on mine but the others in my group was drowning in it? All in all, it was just fair. We all ended up being late to work. If you work in the area and are thinking of grabbing some grub and have more than an hour, go here. If you're on a time crunch? I'd pass.
