I was roaming around Tacoma (I'm not from Washington but live here) and I am a photographer so I was taking photos and decided for a cup of coffee. So I hit YELP and type it up and lo and behold I find a business with the aforementioned title and it oddly enough was right next to me! I walk in and find out that it's a goddamn working skate shop AND coffee shop!!!!! I was asked what I wanted and before answering the topic of where I'm from came up and I told them and the damn owner lived there once and learned how to make a coffee drink that's local to New Orleans so he fuckinh made it for me!!!!!! Haven't had one since I left home 6yrs ago! The atmosphere is electric, the customers coming in and out were all regulars, the service was epic I tipped way more than what is expected! I am no longer going anywhere else when in Tacoma. This is my coffee shop and I highly recommend it!!!!! read more

Found the best chai and the friendliest barista behind the counter who welcomed the regulars by name or order and made a newbie feel just as welcome and at ease by answering questions and responding "I've got ya". Alright so I might be biased because I love WEEN and we walked in and the dude was listening to Flutes of Chi. We needed a board for our daughter (x-mas gift). I really didn't want to get one at the mall so I yelped for a local skate shop and this place came up. We talked to the dude about local spots to skate, gave us some good spots. Great coffee too. Wife really enjoyed her dirty chai. read more

This place is the coolest concept and two of my favorite things coffee and skateboarding! The atmosphere from the outside is a chill little cafe in the heart of downtown tacoma. Inside is decorated in everything skateboarding including cool local art and tons of skateboards on the walls. It has a small corner for skate stuff I bought a set of locally made bearings and the price was reasonable. The owner was super friendly and stoked that we were there he really made us feel welcome. The coffee was delicious bold but smooth and we also ate a small pastry and it was fresh and delicious. All around five stars check this place out for yourself it's worth it. read more

Totally cool and relatively new coffee shop that popped up in downtown Tacoma. I didn't even know it existed until I was going down a road I don't travel down often to pick up a take out order for my lunch and stumbled across their sign on the side walk. Right after my work shift I ran right over to try some of their coffee and check out the place. The coffee and skateboard shop is fairly small but... wow... does it pack such charm and so very unique too with the combination of a coffee shop with skate boards. My first trip here I got an awesome chai tea and really liked it a lot and then got a vanilla latte when I came back with Steve a few days later to have him check out the place and to spend more time here. Of course the coffee is great and it comes from Manifesto Coffee which I always enjoy. Staff here are super awesome and friendly and recognized a guy (possibly the owner but not sure) that we chat up with who used to work at Manifesto. Skateboards are great looking... not that I'm a skater. That stage of thinking I might be one along with my brother was kind of a pipe dream living in the country in our teens but we did get creative when we did want to skate... that's for sure. Despite moving on past that in life it was great seeing all the Thrasher magazines in the seating area. Always appreciated skate culture even after taking on other interests. And of course... a very exciting thing to see... they got swag and so sometime on a future visit there I will definitely be picking up some shirts and/or a hat. What a fantastic cafe. The rumors are true! On a typical, damp, dreary day in gorgeous downtown Tacoma, I found myself in desperate need of a proper, comforting breve (read Bravo) latte to warm my weary bones. I'd heard this quirky coffee/skate shop be recommended before - and this appraisal was entirely correct. The coffee was perfectly crafted- the milk respected, not scorched, as it should* always be in an ideal world. But the world is rarely ideal. An exception would be the Method. Aaron and the patrons were profoundly friendly-- kind to the extent that perhaps a craft latte wasn't even needed after exposure to such vibrant individuals. I will definitely be returning. This is my new downtown spot. My 15 minutes or so at the joint was like natural therapy. So kind. So good. Bravo, Method! You have clearly set a standard! And thank you Aaron, for being such a brilliant human. read more

I used to skate so going here brings up great memories of friends and fun. Dig the Thrasher mags and worn skateboards on the walls. The vibe is right! And the coffee is delicious!! I also used to be a barista and never thought I would drink decaf, but I can't hang with the caffeine anymore. Grabbed my first coffee in years there and got a decaf oat milk latte and I'm HOOKED! Now I'm going every chance I have to snag a good brew and be greeted with great service. Maybe I'll even start skateboarding again? read more

Fabulous coffee, great vibe! I don't know anything about skateboarding, but highly recommend the coffee
