I first had wicked fresh at the fryeburg fair in 2025- they were selling their chicken nuggets and they were probably my favorite dish at the fair this year. We were back in the fryeburg area and decided to try their actual fast casual restaurant and got burgers. It was one of the best burgers I've had in a while. I got their signature wicked burger and the layering of veggies is SUPERB. Such a good amount of pickle slices! My partner was reminded of in and out burgers when eating his. I think they were better than in and out! The quality is amazing for the price. We go upta camp in east fryeburg and usually I am not motivated to go into North Conway in the summer for lunch. So glad I finally stopped here for lunch (and they are open for dinner as well). Friendly vibe, wicked friendly employees and one of the best chicken sandwiches I ever had. Longtime fan let down by a weird excuse and missing ingredients... I've always been a fan of Wicked Fresh Craft Burgers, but my recent experience with the Wicked Steak Salad was a major letdown. I specifically chose this dish for the blue cheese pairing, but it arrived with almost no cheese at all. * Missing Ingredients: I found maybe two tiny crumbles in the entire container. If it were just sold as a "Wicked Steak Salad" without the blue cheese in the name, it would be accurate--but I ordered it specifically for the combo. * Lack of Evidence: As you can see in the photo I've attached, there is zero sign of blue cheese throughout the greens or on the steak. * Poor Service Response: When I called to let them know, I was told the cheese "must have melted into the steak." Looking at the picture, the steak clearly isn't hot enough to have vaporized the cheese. I'm disappointed that instead of acknowledging a simple kitchen error, the staff treated me like I was seeing things. I hate leaving negative reviews for places I previously liked, but being treated like you're crazy when you're just trying to provide helpful feedback is not cool. The food is amazing, you can tell it's done in-house (and not poorly) REALLY rare these days to find professional effort, as such!! Especially, as I would classify the dining experience as fast-food, but the food quality is represented by the wonderful flavour and proper attention and care to preparation lets me know I'm not consuming junk that's trying to pass as healthy. The only parts that would detract, for me: The ambiance yes, is very noisy and echo-y, which is no big deal, comes with the package. It's no-frills, and during the winter since they do not have a guard or focused ventilation towards the door, the entire restaurant is swept with chilling air that is very unpleasant. This place is always jam-packed, so you might not find room to sit down, but thankfully we were able to get a table from a couple that was leaving. Sometimes in our experience, the fries haven't always been fried properly. The last time we got a big basket, they were very limpy, and not crispy at all. So I think those are hit or miss - they were not fried long enough; under-done. This time we didn't get a big basket, and they were good. I think the rush last time when it was so busy caused rushing underdone fries to be sent out; you can't really blame them because of the outrageous volume(the space can't contain the people, often), but the customer does want to get what they paid for, especially at these prices. Not excited about the fact that you have to pay for the dips that go with the french fries too, when the prices are where they are, you would hope it would already be built in. All that being said, it is a really good place to enjoy every now-and-then!! The staff are also attentive, courteous, clean, and service-oriented. The hangry burger was my favorite. SO tasty and didn't feel too heavy. My boyfriend loves the mountain man burger (double patties, more his speed). We also got the chicken parm to try. I paired the meal with a Tuckerman's Fall Line rye IPA. They had I think ~7 beers and a cider available in 16 oz cans. The employees were all super nice. They were busy when I first got there but my food came out quickly. There's probably enough seating for ~20 people inside.
