I just dropped off my niece and nephew in bellflower after a long day hanging out with them at knotts berry farm. When you hang out with two kids under 10... sometimes you just need to get a drink after a long day. I found the midway bar on bellflower and just stopped for a quick drink. The bartender, Scarleth... wow. Thank you for for making me happy I don't have kids that young. The beers are great... but she was awesome. I ended up staying till 12:30am. FYI.. This bar was nice & chill not until I stepped into the bathroom, there was urine on the seat & floor so watch out ladies! At one point he didn't have seltzers available so I brought my own but with his permission which was cool. On several occasions I had to remind Alex that I was done with my drink. Talk about good customer service sheesh. Alex is an 8-hole, rude & disrespectful. It was closing time & I was finishing up my water, grab it out of my hands n threw it out. Sports games are always running from basketball, football and baseball. The World Series was by far a great event. When the dodgers won the World Series Alex gave free shots to everyone at the bar I even bought a round myself. UFC fights and boxing fights are always on and he NEVER charges for you to come and watch like other places asking for $10-$20 fee at the door. He will get an order wrong or charge you extra for things you did not order, but when you try to dispute it he will try to physically fight you. Be careful opening a tab because he will claim he doesn't have your card when you try to close it. It's best to avoid putting your safety at risk and go to any of the other bars down the street. read more
