Food came out super fast. Server was really nice and attentive. She gave great recommendations for flavor and spice.

I love seafood boil so I decided to try the Mighty Crab. It's located near the Target Plaza. The food was a bit pricy but I really wanted some seafood so we decided to go and dig in. We requested the booth which was spacious. The decor was cute and reminded me of some of seafood restaurants from the 70's near the beach with the fishnet and other items you may find at a dock or seaport. The service was efficient and prompt. I started with a peach martini and sweet potato fries. I ordered my main course, the snow crab boil, a potato and corn. For the second step, I ordered the garlic butter and Cajun sauces for my boil. For the Third step I ordered the spicy level to be medium. The boil was good but a bit salty. They didn't need as much salt in the boil it took away from the other flavors. The garlic butter and Cajun seasoning were quite good on their own. They were skimpy on the vegetables the boil only had 1 corn and two potatoes. If you wanted additional corn or potatoes you had to pay for them. The music was great and the service was friendly and helpful, but they were a bit stretched and could have used at least an additional server. Th

The seafood at The Mighty Crab is so delicious, you won't be able to stop after just one bite! I personally love the Cajun Garlic flavor.

I wish that I could use a half star in the ratings, but unfortunately I can't. Anyway on a whim, we decided to give the Mighty Crab a try and were pleasantly surprised. It took a few minutes to determine how to order and what sounded good. I went with snow crab & clams, my wife did the snow crab & black muscles. We both selected the garlic butter mild. We agreed that the flavor was almost perfect and we weren't disappointed in our order. Like another reviewer noted, they don't have the small forks that are needed to dig into crab properly so we had to "MacGyver" our way through the crab. Our waitress was good at helping us figure out the menu, but once dinner arrived, it was difficult to get her attention when my drink ran out. She wrote her name on the table but it seemed she had trouble hearing it when called. Overall I'd give the waitress an 8 out of 10. Overall, we enjoyed the food and the experience. I will return again for sure, but not on a Monday.

I'm always on the lookout for seafood restaurants and The Mighty Crab caught my eye. Knowing that, The Mighty Crab is a Louisiana style seafood restaurant that I was excited to try. Taking this into account, I ordered the fried shrimp basket and fried pickles. First, I tried the fried shrimp and it was very tasty. To explain, the breading was flavorful and seasoned. Also, the shrimp tasted fresh and was very tender. After that, I sampled the waffle fries which were solid. The fries were crispy and seasoned nicely. Finally, I turned my attention to the fried pickles which were delicious. To elaborate, the fried pickles were flavorful, crispy, and light. In addition, the dipping sauce paired perfectly with the fried pickles. In summation, The Mighty Crab is a really solid Louisiana style seafood restaurant and I hope to be back.

To start the service was amazing. Very customer focused, friendly and personable without sounding forced. She even took our pictures. The Apple martini was delicious. The food was very very tasty. We had a 100% wonderful experience. Very conveniently located and all of our needs were met. Highly recommended.

Seafood lovers are invited to a new boil shack in Latham. (Old Ruby Tuesday's) If you do not like seafood, it may not be for you. There are multiple sauces or get the combo of all of them called "MIGHTY SAUCE". It may be me, but I thought it was a tad salty. Ordered Combo B which included 1/2 lb each of snow crab, shrimp and sausage (cut up slices) with 2 potatoes, 2 hard boiled eggs, and for those who want veggys at every meal there is a piece of corn and a sprig of broccoli. Additional seafood items can be added for a nominal fee. Bibs and gloves are available. Good parking. Attentive staff. Pleasant atmosphere. Fish hanging around. Bad? Yes, my only complaint, and its not just this venue. Crab require slim picking forks to get every last bit of crab from the tiny areas of the lovely legs. It's a shame we kill these creatures, we might as well eat each and every bit of them.

    Nothing good

Ik you see the picture and be like dang he mess that food up it can't be that bad. But No this is the worse sea food I ever had. U will be better off just making it at home. I had mighty mild and nothing was mighty about it. Or maybe I just not use to bland food I'm from Louisiana and the mighty there is the bomb. I'm down here working every single place I tried down here is trash. But I'm still going to eat it tho I'm not wasting my money.

Well, at least we kept our word today when we ordered their two different bowls for takeout. My wife ordered the Fishbowl ($30) with the grilled fish of the day (salmon), cherry tomatoes, quinoa, feta, peaches, arugula, and basil lime vinaigrette (she said no to onions). She could not get over how tasty the quinoa tasted and wondered how they prepared it. She also thought the peaches could have been a little sweeter since we are in prime peach season. While the salmon was just slightly overcooked we'll attribute that to it continuing to cook as we drove the meals home. Even with those minor negatives, she said she would definitely order the dish again. I chose the Poke Bowl ($35) for my meal (my first ever poke bowl) with marinated raw tuna and salmon, edamame, cucumber, watermelon radish, snap peas, nori, avocado, sesame seeds, scallions, and pea tendrils, all over sushi rice with ginger gochugaru oil and soy sauce on the side. This was absolutely delicious. It was a wonderful blend of fresh flavors and textures. If I have another poke bowl somewhere else I only hope it can come close to measuring up to the enjoyment I experienced with this one.

I've been there before and the crazy, giant fiberglass crab on display in the entrance is always a hoot. So is the fiberglass shark head on the wall in the dining area. I like a place with a sense of fun and humor. I also like this place for its seafood boils. The good news is that this restaurant--which was very good to begin with-- has gotten even better. Last time I showed up, the server brought the seafood boil still in its boiling bag and cut it open in front of me. It was up to me to reach into the hot bag and pull out its contents. There was steam everywhere. A hot mess, indeed! This time, the kitchen took care of the boiling bag for me. Instead, they beautifully arranged the boiled seafood on a large platter. Wow. It looked amazing and tasted even better! This time, I'd asked for a Number 4 with mix of seasonings, including garlic and butter. There were: one big lobster tail, plenty of shrimp, clams, crawfish, potatoes, corn on the cob, hard boiled eggs and extra veggies. It was described as enough to feed three people. Coincidentally, we were a party of three. We also ordered a Cajun Fried Rice for good measure. We really didn't need it. We were so full. The fruit drinks were great, too. The wait staff is amazing. Our server was Valbon. He was gracious, helpful and very thorough in describing food preparation. My friend had a Porterhouse Steak prepared medium well done with just a bit of pink. It was a massive steak. He said it was prepared perfectly. Same for the mashed potatoes and asparagus. I don't eat much red meat. Valbon recommended the sea bass for me. It was remarkably tender. I enjoyed the sautéd vegetables, too. I was amazed that I finished my entire meal. My friend took part of his giant steak home and enjoyed it the next day. I asked for a light cocktail. A vodka-based Lemon Drop martini was recommended for me. It's a popular drink there. I've been to Innovo Kitchen in Latham several times over the years and I've enjoyed it every time. They have a unique menu that changes periodically, but I always find something that catches my eye. The interior has an industrial feel which I like, with a lot of exposed brick. The tables are made from old bowling lane wood, which is a really cool touch. When you walk in there is also a bowling pin displayed in a glass case. I remember there being a bowling alley somewhere in that plaza when I was a kid, so it seems likely the building has some history tied to that. The tables are also nice and large, which makes the dining experience more comfortable. Tonight I ordered the Monte Cristo burger which is described as battered Buckley's Bread sourdough, a 6 oz special grind burger, Taylor pork roll, Swiss, and Twin Leaf Farms maple aioli. It was quite tasty and I really enjoyed the hint of maple syrup flavor on the burger. The crinkle cut fries that came with it were also very good. Another person in our party ordered the White Chicken Parmesan, described as a crisp chicken cutlet topped with ricotta and garlic spinach and fresh mozzarella, with garlic parmesan cream and lumache pasta. They said it was delicious. Someone else had the Crispy Skin Salmon and enjoyed that as well. A child at our table ordered macaroni with red sauce. The portion was surprisingly large and they liked it, which is impressive because they are particularly finicky. For dessert we ordered something we've had here several times before, the peanut butter mud pie. It's basically ice cream in pie form with an Oreo cookie crust and chocolate fudge. It's very tasty and also a generous portion. At the end of your meal they also offer everyone at the table a tasty piece of gourmet chocolate. One thing that really stood out tonight was the attentiveness of the management. Two different managers stopped by our table at different times to check and make sure everything was good. I recognized one of them because I've seen him there before and he always seems to make a point of checking in with guests. The other person had seated us so I initially thought she was the hostess, but after she stopped by during the meal I asked if she was a manager and she confirmed that she was. I mentioned that I was impressed that two different managers had checked on us, and that every time I've dined there a manager has stopped by to make sure everything was good. I thanked her and told her it was appreciated. During the summer and fall they also have a very nice patio area for outdoor dining. On cooler nights they have heaters and a fireplace which makes it a great place to sit outside. I will definitely return here again in the future. 5 stars
