Mind you this is a very small restaurant and the section they were seating was only five steps away. We said OK then we will find somewhere else to have lunch and the lady at the front said "fine". We thought maybe this was just a bad experience try it again this morning for breakfast. We again asked if we could be seated by the window and the greeter said "sorry, we are not seating that section." We explained our experience from yesterday and she "sorry, those are just the rules". We accepted that and were seated. To our shock, 20 seconds later, she seated a couple by the window, where she had just told us they are not seating! We asked to speak with the manager, who came out. She interrupted me as I was telling her about our experience and said "we can seat you now by the window." We picked up our own glasses, silverware, and napkins ourselves and moved over by the where she said we could sit. We then proceeded to wait over 15 minutes and no one ever came to wait on us. Several other people entered the restaurant, were seated and waited on. Finally, we got the message that we would not receive service. We exited without anyone asking us a thing. As a small business owner and frequent diner , I would be appalled at this type of service. I find it hard to believe that this would be acceptable to any restaurant owner. We will never be back and will certainly share our negative and unwelcoming experiences with others.
