I have lived here for a little over a year now in The Promenade, so here's my experience so far. I read most of the negative reviews on here to see how accurate they are. 1. Ive seen the buildings carpets and hallways constantly maintained. The carpets have been washed at least 4 times, walls repainted, and the cleaning team is always around cleaning something. Smells great! 2. Neighbors are all very kind and live similar lifestyles to mine. 3. Everything in the unit works great, and when they dont, its fixed quickly. Maitinance team is outstanding! The residence portal is great, and helps in all things concerning our homes. Has only broken down once for a few hours. 4. Security has increased, but the late night riff raff from the homeless and tweakers persists. They congregate more towards CVS and Vons recently. Still a problem, but i see the efforts being made to help the residents. 5. Parking is good, theres plenty of public parking, thers spaces one can rent monthly and daily. You absolutely will get ticketed if parked for too long in a 2 hour, and towed if parked on Center Street when events are going on ( Theres events weekly and their awesome ). That being said, theres warnings posted everywhere prior to the event. 6. I have never experienced any disrespect or issues with anyone on the Greystar team, my experience has been the exact opposite. 7. Pool, gym, and certain amenities are in different buildings, so that sucks, but its not a deal breaker in any way. In conclusion its not perfect, but pretty close for someone like me. Its walking distance from everything and an uber from Disneyland. The best Tiki Bar in the world is the neighborhood watering hole!!! I really enjoy living here, its perfect for my lifestyle. Living at The Mix has been one of the worst experiences. I usually don't write bad reviews, but I think it's necessary for others to know. First off, this complex is directly next to both a police department and a fire department so you will hear sirens at least 3 times a day, including bedtime. The way that the building is built is very poor, which is how most greystar complexes are built. I am very mindful and considerate of any noise I make. I would even wear slippers and walk around my own home on my tip toes to be courteous to them below. But the neighbors below would complain to the leasing office over any small noise they "heard". There was a time the neighbors below me were banging on my bedroom ceiling....but I was in the KITCHEN cooking at 7 pm and wearing my slippers to cushion any potential noise. I get it if it's 10pm but that wasn't that late. The noise issue got to a point where I felt like I was getting harassed by the leasing office, even though most of the claims of the noises that I supposedly made were not true. The leasing office even told me on a weekend that I wasn't in town I was making noises, I don't know how that's possible because no one was home. It's frustrating coming home from a long work day at the hospital to constant anxiety that any tip toe step would cause banging from my neighbors and harassing emails from the leasing office. The area is also not safe. There are a lot of homeless people that come out at night and my car got broken into. There will be times at midnight or 2 AM that I hear a homeless person screaming and yelling in the middle of the intersection. But the leasing office does nothing about it. I wouldn't feel safe to walk out at night after 9 PM in this area. It's honestly really confusing that there are so many homeless people around due to the police being so close lol. I also believe there is a lack of privacy from the leasing office. There was a time I left the apartment and I saw the lady from the leasing office watching my apartment from the end of the hallway! (I wish I was exaggerating the truth, I'm not) This was around the time we got a noise complaint so I figured she was waiting around to see if we really are loud people. Either way I find it very weird and creepy. Lastly, the appliances in the apartments do not work at all. They will try to sell you the" two in one washer and dryer machine" but it does not work at all. I've had to take multiple trips to the laundromat just to get my laundry done. Also out of the 12 months I lived here, one elevator was always broken so you may be late to work due to one elevator being used for the entire building. They also tried to blame my dog for the reason that the hallway smell like dog urine because they have "evidence" of this. This really upset me because I would always make an effort to carry my 20 pound puppy so that he will not pee in the hallways despite the other dogs doing this. And despite my efforts, I'm STILL getting blamed?? Show me the evidence. I'm still waiting. At this point I should've just let my dog pee since you're blaming me anyways. It's so sad bc I was excited when I first moved here and I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. But too many boundaries have been crossed. One positive thing is that the Anaheim packing house was just a walk away....thats all I got for positives. Sorry Mix, I wish I could've had a more positive experience with you guys read more

Are you desperately searching for an apartment with any of the following features? 1. An elevator that seemingly breaks down any day of the week that ends in a Y? 2. Smeared dog feces/pools of urine in the hallways and stairways, left uncleaned for days on end? 3. Cockroach infested garage areas? 4. An inflexible, unresponsive management team that is more concerned with your bank account than your well being? 5. Arbitrary increases to amenity fees such as pet rent or parking? 6. Dramatic year-over-year rent increases under the guise of offsetting "affordable rent" opportunities? 7. Shoddy or missing home features such as doors, blinds, and appliances? 8. A dead end "resident escalation" process that seeks to pacify residents rather than provide solutions? 9. Broken communal amenities (ripped pool chairs, gym TVs that are just expensive wall decorations)? 10. Having to submit 3, 4, even 5 maintenance work orders on the same issue before getting a final resolution or temporary fix? 11. Little or no communication from management about stolen mail situations? 12. Homeless people setting up little makeshift camps inside Mix stairwells adjacent to the halfway house across the street? 13. Having to foot $$$ water bills due in part to an insanely inefficient hot water system? If so, The Mix may be right for you! In all seriousness, when my partner and I moved into the Mix 5 years ago, we knew we weren't going to get the Ritz Carlton experience. But the location and semi-affordable rent rate made it an attractive offer for us given we both work in the area. I take no pleasure that as we move out to greener pastures, I can confidently say that things have gotten markedly worse since 2019. Management under Greystar has been abysmal and I URGE you to carefully consider your options before moving here. It may seem like an attractive offer when they're trying to get your signature on a lease, but just scratch the surface and there's a ton of rot here. CAVEAT EMPTOR. *Note for management--instead of commenting on this review with an apology (or rebuttal), kindly use that time to go to one of the stairwells and do a brief inspection. I'm sure there's a fresh turd (animal or otherwise) somewhere for you to clean up. I'm going to give this place two-stars for the benefit of the doubt. I booked a tour here at 11 AM, when I got there, there was no "clear" signs where future residents should park, there were no instructions on how to get to parking. I drove for about 15 minutes (prior to my time scheduled). Since we couldn't find the place, we decided to call the office, which lead to a "virtual assistant", was not helpful whatsoever. Then I called the number listed with the agent that was "scheduled" to show me around, that went to voicemail. After about 30 minutes driving around and failing to find the dang place to park/or even get in. I gave up and left. After leaving they called about a few minutes later saying that there was an event going on and they can reschedule me. But why do that to me on the day of and after they sent a text/email "confirming" my schedule with no warnings prior to the scheduled time. It was a waste of my time and unfortunately a huge red flag for future residents. Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the apartments itself as I never got to see it. I love living at the Mix! I've lived in the Promenade building for seven mi this and I've had little to no issues with the property, employees of the complex, or other residents. Maintenance is always timely, respectful and kind. The property is kept up with, I've never had issues with parking. There isn't any guest parking, but my guests never have trouble finding street parking. I enjoy the area and how close the complex is to a grocery store, coffee shops and different restaurants. Special appreciation for Anabey and what a great leasing agent she is! She painted the complex out in a great and accurate way. I always enjoy seeing her. read more

Let me start off by saying the building Is not worth it. I lived at the mix ctr for 12 months I have got my packages stolen, the leasing office has changed and the ladies that work in the leasing office are rude. I was given wrong information when I stopped in the office They said I was going to receive a my deposit back in a check form 2 months after I moved out and never received it When I called today They said they would email me Final account statement and the final account statement said I owed them money. Unprofessional and the building accepts lower income so that explains a lot!!!!! Greediest apartments I've ever lived in. My current lease ended on the 4th of January, however we were completely moved out by the end of December (we even deep cleaned the apartment to make it easier on the make-ready team). We were promised a prorated rent for the 4 days of January that our lease was up for, however when we went to return our keys, they doubled back on their promise and are now forcing us to pay $3400 for the entire month of January, in an apartment that they took the keys for. They don't see you as a tenant, they see you as dollar signs. read more

My boyfriend and I were having coffee nearby and noticed the Mix apartment building. We just started looking for a new apartment and decided to go into the leasing office. We were greeted promptly by their staff, and Anabey sat us down to further discuss our interests. She gave us a quick tour of all three buildings and their amenities. Her knowledge and guidance were the reason we decided to apply that same day! Another added bonus was the rent by income lease terms. All of the bad reviews are true. I have lived here for almost 7 months and have not had one good month. To start off the call boxes have been broken since we've moved in. We kept getting told it was a temporary issue but 7 months later and there is still no way for visitors or delivery drivers to enter our building unless we are available to go downstairs to let them in. I've had to start getting my packages delivered to a friends house because the delivery people have no way to get in. There has been multiple times where we don't have hot water for days and when we call maintenance they give excuses such as "we're upgrading the pipes so it should work soon". We've also had a few maintenance issues with our kitchen that wouldn't have happened if the appliance was fixed correctly the first time around. The trash area is always so disgusting. It's never cleaned & there's always trash thrown everywhere. Parking is terrible, if you want to have any visitors they have the option of two hour parking in the area or they have to find something in the neighborhoods across the street which isn't ideal. All this said, for the price of these apartments you can find a way better place. I've also talked to a few neighbors and they have had bad experiences as well. ESPECIALLY don't move into the Broadway arms building. It's extremely outdated and needs to be renovated. It's not worth what we're paying AT ALL. We cannot wait to leave. read more

This post is long overdue but moving in has been a mission for me and my husband. We've been here for a couple of months and really like it. Pros: All staff that we've worked with have been professional and helpful. All of our neighbors have been super kind and welcoming. We are located next to sooo many food/drink options just downstairs and there's a plaza with Vons, Starbucks, etc. that is very walkable as well. We often see security walking around which gives me a sense of safety. The parking area is gated and feels safe. They upgraded their entrances with new tech so I can open it with my phone or with Siri which is convenient. I saw someone mention that they couldn't have guests/deliveries enter without them going downstairs to open the doors for them; that hasn't been true for us, we've always had a manual code that worked for others even before the entrance upgrades but we may be at different buildings. We're at the lofts so our high ceilings and natural light is awesome. They have monthly community events that neighbors have told us are fun (we haven't gone yet) with free treats. Cons: We didn't have consistent hot water for a couple weeks but it seems like its fixed now! They said they were upgrading heaters/pipes but having no/limited hot water was tough! We had work orders in that were scheduled in time windows but the original guy didn't come. A different guy came later on and was fantastic though. The parking garage looks a little grimy and could use a power wash. Our island, cabinetries, and the bathroom light are a little old-fashioned and have wear and tear scratches / some splotches from painting. Overall, we like it here at The Mix and plan on staying :) Special shout out to Anabey at the leasing office that gave me a tour, answered my thousands of questions so patiently and kindly, helped us with our application, and was there for us on our moving day. She has been the most wonderful and helpful during this process. Another special shout out to John Michael, who I mentioned earlier. He works for Greystar and helped us fix some work orders that were put in. He was so professional and we really appreciated his hard work to get everything fixed. read more

So I've been living here for a month, thought I'd give a proper update. Let's get the bad things over with first. Cons - The elevator. I live in the Doria building & it honestly baffles my mind when they constructed the building there's only ONE elevator! If I'm parking in the garage, and I see someone walking to the elevator, I have to rush to the lobby so I don't have to wait for the elevator to come back down. - Recycling. So there's no recycling bin - what???? This is the first property I have lived where there's no recycling bin. I talked to management about this & they said if you just place it by the trash, it will be taken care of. How do I know it will be taken care of though? The workers could just be lazy & throw it in the dumpster with the rest of the trash. Also the door to the trash room is locked sometimes, and if you leave the recycling items beside the door you will get fined $50. Please get a recycling bin, as I see other residents would like one too. - Amenities. So there's no swimming pool or hot tub. Not a big deal, but it would be nice if there was a rooftop pool. Other little things (which aren't that big of deal): there's no squirt nozzle attachment to wash dishes or a fan in the bathroom. Also no balconies but I bet I couldn't afford this place if my unit did have a balcony. Pros + New construction. + Hallways/elevator always smell great! Love the scent of the air refresher. + It's quiet!! + The outside grounds are clean!! + The neighbors are quiet too. Not once have I heard the neighbors (to the right or left) of me ever! It's great. It doesn't feel like living in an apartment. + Wooden Floors + The quietest dishwasher in the world! Seriously. + Tiled bathroom. (not yucky linoleum) + Large windows that let in a TON of light! I lived at the Mix in the Doria Lofts for a little over a year. There were a ton of pros and cons to it so let me list them here for those looking to rent a new apartment. Pros: -Great location. It is next to the packing district and there's tons of retailers and restaurants in walking distance. -Fiber internet. -Spacious and affordable if you wait for the right price. Keep an eye on prices as they change daily. -Great service from the maintenance guys. They were quick with all of our requests. -Amazon lockers -Tons of activities on Promenade street throughout the year. There is an art crawl once a quarter, the black history month parade, and a farmers market once a week. -In-unit washer and dryer. -New lease renewal was reasonable and not insanely inflated. -Stove, fridge, and microwave already installed. Cons: -Electric Stove -Not really enough cupboard or storage space in the kitchen. -Does not feel safe during earthquakes. -Hallway constantly smelled like smoke and weed despite being non smoking. -No jacuzzi and pool was small and often being used by the Disney employees from the Disney college program they have in one of their buildings. -Amenities are extremely spread out and hard to get to as they are mostly in one building out of the four buildings they have. -The gym is small and does not have great equipment. -Hot water took a while to heat up. -Washer/Dryer is a 2 in 1 and took forever to do one load of laundry. It was also extremely loud and disruptive. -They do not recycle waste. Among all of these cons, I would have lived here for as long as I could have if it weren't for one thing. The worst part about living in the Doria lofts was the F45 gym below the building. The apartments start on the second floor and on the first floor are a few retail businesses. One of them being the pseudo CrossFit gym called F45. The gym opens at 5:00 A.M. every single morning except for Saturday's when they opened at 7. They play extremely loud music every morning and constantly screamed and yelled during their sessions. Even when they were closed on Sundays, the owners of the gym would frequently use the gym for their own purposes first thing in the morning. The gym goers constantly dropped weights and the sound traveled to our floors. I felt like I lived above a nightclub and some days it felt like there were earthquakes from the dropping of the weights. This can be heard primarily on the second floor however, I had talked to neighbors on the third floor who said they could still hear it loud and clear. Unfortunately, the leasing office has no control over what the gym does as it all gets handled by retail management. Every single time we made a complaint, they would tell us they reached out to retail management, but nothing ever changed. We slept with ear plugs every night and it still wasn't enough to block out the bad remixes from 2007 and the weight dropping. I didn't get a single good night's sleep living here. I loved this apartment and I would have lived here for as long as I could have if it weren't for F45. These people simply don't care that they are below resident's homes and only body shamed you when you complained about it. See reviews on the businesses Yelp and Google. If you are looking to live here, I would try to go during the gym's business hours to see if it would be disruptive enough for you. The location is great and it's still a great area to live in, but being directly above the gym was a nightmare. read more

Do you want to be woken up in the middle of the night every few months due to a fire alarm? How about dog piss all inside the elevator and stairs wells? Or how about having the same broken things being fixed over and over? Oh boy is this the place for you. Who doesn't enjoy being woken up in the middle of the night to have to go outside for an hour in the cold. Because the alarm goes off? 5 times in the last 7 months? Seriously?!? Should of known this place was bad the first night we stayed here this happened. Should of moved out that night... Who doesn't love walking down the stairs to find out some tenants just let their dogs go pee and shit in the stairwell. And now, they allow their dogs to pee in the elevators now. Yippee! Why not get cameras to keep this from happening? The dishwasher has been broken for over 2 months. They finally sent someone and 3 days later it's not working again. Luckily it's winter now but the ac hasn't been working, the windows keep breaking and won't stay open. Our garbage disposal won't work. And there is leaking under the kitchen sink. Im pretty sure we buy 2 bottles of drain-o each month because for some reason the bathroom sinks get backed up.. even when we leave for Hawaii for a month.. and also when we leave for the holidays for a month.. we come back to the sink backing up and over flowing. There was 1 week where the toilet kept having water backing up and over flowing.. had to wake up every 3 hours to drain the sink and toilet water with bowls into the shower so it didn't flood the bathroom. Took them several days before they could fix it. They might as well just list that nothing works in the apartment before u move in. If this sounds like your kind of place. Found a single bedroom unit for me and my Partner at The Mix. We lucked out, and right after the tour we immediately put a deposit down, paid the application fee, had our background check verified and approved. We were so excited as all the emails we were receiving said we were approved and telling us our move in date was coming up. But after a week and a half we wanted verbal confirmation. That's when Leslie, the assistant manager, started giving us push back on our income. Me and my partner have worked for the same international company for over 10 years, and can verify all yearly income to be around 45-50k each! Leslie claimed to calculated us both at 55k together. We work in a tipped position and were willing to provide all information, including W2's bank statements and even written letters from our workplace. She denied to see any other form of income verification, including W2's and bank statements. Leslie said they do not calculate an average off tips but was willing to take income verification off Venmo's deposits, Very oddly. I feel like we had a case against them according to the fair housing act because I've never heard of a tenant not willing to take current W2's as income verification and refusing to use verified, taxed tips as income. I don't need to chase these people down, we just needed a place to stay. Also 3 weeks we still haven't received our deposit back but still getting emails for our 'move in'. Terrible experience, wasted our time, very disappointing, felt denied due to a discrimination. read more

The mix at ctr city is a cool and unique apartment complex. The complex includes 4 different buildings, each with their own style and amenity and situated walking distance from restaurants, shops and even a museum. The leasing staff, although often busy, is usually friendly and helpful. It's best to call or head to the leasing office yourself, otherwise your email will not get answered. The leasing process was smooth. Maintenance staff is kind and efficient, however they get busy with renovating new units so requests through the resident portal may take a while. I'm hopeful it will improve once renovations complete. My specific unit has exceeded every expectation and even has a great view of disneylands fireworks. A deal breaker I wish I knew before signing the lease is the parking situation. Only one parking space is given per unit no matter what and additional parking spaces are said to be available for $75/month. Which would be fine, as that is pretty standard for most complexes. However, these said additional parking spaces are given via waitlist so you could potentially wait months before you receive your second spot. Upon signing the lease we were told parking should be available in October, yet now the waitlist seems to all be up in the air. 7 parking garages in the area, yet only one allows parking over 3 hours and costs $12/day with no in and out privileges so if you need to run an errand you'll be paying $24+ for that day. I guess that's fine for occasional guests, but for actual residents, it's ridiculous. Street parking is available, yet is 30-90minutes max. You might get lucky parking in neighborhoods 10 minutes away, which is definitely not ideal as far as safety goes for especially as nurses coming home at 11:30pm. Nonetheless, this complex is well maintained and clean. I would absolutely recommend this complex to anyone and everyone with a 1 car household. Otherwise, you'll be paying top dollar for rent here and nowhere to park your car. read more

My boyfriend and I lived at the Mix Doria Lofts for a little over a year. We absolutely loved our time there. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and attentive. Our studio unit was spacious, had wonderful natural light, an in-unit washer and dryer, hardwood floors and great appliances. We enjoyed the parking garage underneath the Doria Lofts, and always felt safe when traveling to and from our cars. I would give The Mix at CTR City a 5 star review because of their amazing customer service. Leslie and Elle were incredible to work with, flexible, and always answered all of our questions. In fact, we had to move out of our apartment due to COVID-19, and the leasing office was EXTREMELY understanding and flexible with our lease and move-out date. We feel lucky to have lived in this wonderful apartment complex and would move back here in a heartbeat. read more

I rented here for 1 year , : my fiancé and I rented a 2bd 2 bath which only came with one parking space , you can purchase a additional space I believe it was $50 or $60 a month , there's guest parking but you can only park there for a maximum of 2hrs or you will receive a ticket , or tow : we lived on the second floor , the odor from the trash shoot hits you in the face as soon as you exit the elevator. : from the time I moved in til the time I moved out , something was always improperly working , they came out to fix the toilet at total of 11 times before replacing it and it was broken upon arrival (did not properly flush) The WASH AND DRYER is a complete nightmare, honesty it takes about 5 hours to wash one load , my dishwasher never worked maintenance came out and fixed it three times it still didn't work : the ice maker , made very smelly dirty ice due to the filters being dirty they never fixed it , claimed they did but the ice was still smelly . : be prepared to hear plenty of sirens during the middle of the night , lots of transits in the parking garage and sleeping by the entrance : and ppl use these apartments to rent out as Airbnb , leaving the house to go work out early one morning, and returning at 6am a guy dressed in all black approached me in the garage and said his friends had rented a Airbnb there for the night and he was trying to get back in and they weren't answering, so I just pretended that I was waiting for a friend and got back in my car , about 20 min later two guys with beers in hand came down for him :also upon moving out they did a inspection, they said everything was fine : and the carpet only needed to be lightly shampooed and they'd do that bc it was normal wear and tear, well a week after moving out I received a bill saying I owed $800 for carpet ........ : stay away from this place , the apartments are trash and from reading previous reviews this is what they do charge ppl a arm in a leg after moving out !!!!!! read more

I feel like this complex got an undeserved bad rap!!! From the initial apartment tour set up through the moving in process, Leslie and Michelle were super helpful, friendly and polished. The application and background check were a breeze and my boyfriend and I love our new apartment in the Broadway Arms building. Everyone in our building (neighbors and maintenance) couldn't have been more welcoming. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because my boyfriend's bike got stolen within the first month and while I can say we have seen ramped up security in the past couple weeks, it would have been helpful if the heavy security presence had already been established. The Broadway Arms is clean, well maintained and (apartment from the bike fiasco) secure. The readily available doggie bag stations posted throughout the complex make picking up after your pet a snap. There is no pest problem and my apartment is at the end of a hallway located near the trash chute and we cannot ever smell garbage! I've been living here for 3 years and the management has recently been taken over by someone new and the service of the office team has just gone downhill. I've been trying for 3 days to get someone by to fix our washer/dryer and nobody returns my calls. After a lot of back and forth on the phone I finally got someone by and they didn't end up fixing anything so here I am with 4 days worth of wet clothes sitting in a washer with a dryer that won't work. Oh my goodness! Move to this place if you have a death wish! The over priced, over rated apartments are ran by a sneaky, crooked manger named Brian a pet of Greystar, who won't take care of anything and is out to empty out your pockets!!!! Mind you I lived there from 2012 to 2015 peacefully and without problems, until the building was sold to Greystar, roach running management! 1) "utilities", water and trash were included in the rent before but since Greystar took over they charged whatever they wanted for it. My share, $77 for water!!!! I'm a physician and hardly ever at home, there is no garden, I didn't have a jacuzzi, $77 for water in the getto, of Anaheim seemed a little steep! I asked time and again (I have email trails of this so willing to share with anyone who wants them) asked for how they arrived at that amount given the fact that there are no meters for each unit!!! No answers, just charges! I now reside in Palos Verdes, which is a very nice area in a 4 bedroom house, with a yard and sprinklers, my average water bill? $35!!!!!! Can you spell RIPOFF??? 2) Since Brian and the Greystar took over, the place got infested with huge, ugly flying roaches...... grosss!!!!! I called many times and they supposedly "poisoned" the drains...... but they must have used cheap poison, or maybe water, cause those damn nasty roaches kept coming! Please see the pics. My neighbor, a disabled guy, MOVED OUT kicking and screaming because of the roach infestation in his apartment. The roaches lay eggs in your stuff and once you move out, guess what? you take them with you! I had to call exterminators to get rid of mine in my new house!!!!! Gorss. 3) The Rent!!!!! I had a 28% increase in rent when they wanted to renew my lease..... so good luck if you are planning on staying for more than a year! 4,5) They are so cheap, they don't have gas lines for the dryers! So you get a washer and dryer combo machine. Be ready for each load of laundry to take between 3-5 hrs depending how damp you like your clothes!!! Electricity bill due to their inefficient laundry machines..... thru the roof!!!! Be prepared to do your laundry at your mom's. The dishwashers will break and chip all your dishes, guaranteed! do your dishes at ur mom's ! 6) parking, be careful when you rent a 2 bedroom! You get ONE space in the building and one in boonivill Texas! 3 buildings over! You want another space??? It's another $100 per month! Lovely. 7) I have a BMW and many times I got nasty fluids from the pipes leak on my car! Once they paid to have it detailed..... but seriously the pipes keep bursting, just go and check out all the rings they have put on those pipes (look up they are on the ceiling) to stop the leaks, they didn't have a pool (fish tank, not done after 2 yrs) but feel free to swim in the dirty water pot holes! 8) If you are a total recluse great! There are no visitor parking spaces!!!! 2 hrs parking or paid parking only and those damn parking maids WILL give you, and your guests tickets, even in your own parking garages! That's what they live for! I had a party only once and all my guests left with a parting gift.... tickets! 9) MAKE SURE TO VISIT THE BEAUTIFUL PROMENADE BUILDING DURING THE WEEKENDS! the smell of trash will kill ya! The trash area and shoot smell like death and are often dirty! See pic/videos please. Summers are extra special. Guess whatever this company steals from you, they pocket! God forbid they hire additional cleaning crew! 10 ) security deposit! I delivered the place better and cleaner than I first moved in! Wave bye bye to all of your deposit, you ain't getting it back! See pic of imaginary charges!!!! $155.96 for final utility (water) while I was between homes, and wasn't even living there!!! Amazing! Also be prepared to owe them, they will find a way! Polishing the floors and cleaning after 5 years of me living there??? No such thing as normal wear and tear!!!! Please see the pics of the condition I left the place in...... you judge. 11) you really have to LOVE noise specially, Mexican music, it plays at 9 am every weekend, they rent out the courtyard for parties and oh yes every 6 months there is the move in and out of Disney kids from the Carnegie building!!! Be prepared to wake up to them yelling, screamimg and partying at 3am! homeless will sleep on the benches by the building, some are drunks so be ready not to go out by yourself after dark, or be prepared to have them shout and chase after you! Area is not safe. The garage door is often broken so don't be startled if you get approached by a homeless person in the garage!!!! Why did I last there as long as I did? 1) I was hardly ever home, 2) because of my work. CIM the previous management group was great, they were on top of things like trash and bugs and security and did not nickel and dime you on daily basis. This place is EPIC.. Truthfully as great as the surrounding places are.. It definitely starts with the front leasing office. I had to do a quick move and they were able to accommodate me properly which made me feel extremely at home! From the front desk to the Manager Brian! Everyone has been amazing and very personable. Onto the apartments.. AMAZING.. Completely open and creative space with proper appliances to go with it. Everything has been awesome and even with things that come up they make sure to take care of it asap! Already looking forward to renew my lease and continue to live here until I get my own property! Highly recommend any creative person to look into this place, Especially the lofts, to be your next apartment! read more

This review is for Parking policy only. 1 assigned stall per unit. The rest must buy parking pass to park in another parking structure for a walking distance. There are parking spaces on 1st floor in Broadway Arm but they are reserved for Retail only. It used to be that they don't enforce it during non-business hours and weekend. That used to help. Now they flipped the finger and begin to enforce it 24 hours a day. This is forcing residents to have to pay extra for the distant parking structure. If not, people will have to park across the street in the unsafe neighborhood or maybe Vons. Imagine you're a female, this is unsafe even though there are securities walking around. Homeless people are always in this area. I don't think this is management's decision, but definitely the City. The City literally have Enforcement officer walking around at 4AM to chalk mark people's cars and ticket them at 6AM. This makes no sense. The purpose of the limited parking time is to keep people moving, allow traffic of people to flow in and out. But there are no business operating at such time. What really is the point here? Who owns these parking structures? And not counting these events that keep happening blocking traffic. Selfish policy, inconsiderately impacting the residents who live around here. We already hold our tongue with the the 1 stall per unit policy and actually follow the rules during business hours. This is completely messed up. No wonder businesses around here don't thrive that much... this is not LA. Parking rules here don't work. They think each house hold has just 1 car? read more

Nice fancy upscale appts. I have family that just recently moved in here. The place is right in the center of downtown anaheim. So right when you walk out, there's a good amount of shops and restaurants to checkout around. They also hold multiple events every month to get their community together, which I thought was really cool. Within their complex, they offer a bbq / swimming pool area, a large open patio (which is used for movie nights sometimes), and a mini-pool hall with a nice sized billiards table. A ping pong table and sandbag tossing are also available in the open patio. They also offer a 24hr gym which is a nice private suite area with everything you would need for functional training. Definitely a place worth checking out, if you're looking for a new place to move into. read more

Terrible communication. Don't even bother asking them to do something. They don't care about your business. "We are busy." That's all you will get from them. I was a potential renter but not after this incident where I was trying to apply for an apartment for hours and they said we will get right back to you and never did. I moved into the Lofts in Promenade in August, so I have not had any experience with the prior management staff that many refer to in their reviews. What I can say is this, objectively, they have been welcoming and attentive. I put in a request of any issues in my apartment and there is a maintenance person there quickly working on the problem with a smile. They have been my advocate with any disputes with the city and worked towards finding solutions that work best for me. Now as my personal opinion, I have lived in major cities in what would be considered more sought after locations from The City Center in Las Vegas to right off the water in down town Toronto. What I look for in a home is a comfortable and open place centralized to activities and something with a community feel. If you know the location, I don't have to tell you about all the fun things that are available within walking distance, but its all the neighbors that have made my experience here fun. The management staff here have made sure that we have the opportunity to meet other neighbors from their mixers and the up and coming pool and outdoor lounge area will assist in that, but we seem to do fine just saying hello as we pass each other on the street or in the hallways. The Mix has very quickly become my home and I take pride in all it has to offer. Even my dog has become attached, for our morning walks are not complete without a visit to the leasing office for a cup from their amazing coffee machine for me, and a treat for her from the staff, management or otherwise. From maintenance to management, we have been taken care of and pampered. If you are looking for a great place to call home in a hidden gem in the heart of Anaheim, close to great eateries and fun activities, I welcome you to come be my neighbor. If you're a entitled tool who will always find fault with the world around you, I hear Ecco Park is a great place to live. read more

This is a review for the Promenade Lofts, not the other buildings (Doria, Broadway arms..etc). Pros: - new construction - built to be sold as condos but never did (due to the housing bust), so the quality of the building and the finishes are much nicer then places built with the design to be an apartment. Here, you are renting a condo and it is noticeably different. - As stated above, love the granite counter top that extends to the floor. Even the door knobs feel sturdy and all the lights are track lighting. All the units come with some sort of built in shelving as well. - modern "big city" "urban" loft design you won't find anywhere else in the OC (trust me I've looked). - floor to ceiling windows - washer/dryer combo , and dish washer, central air - pet friendly - quiet neighbors - quiet building /area in general - gated underground parking structure - you can hear/see Disney Fireworks (depending on which side/floor you're on) - 2 miles from Disneyland - friendly staff - elevators (makes moving in a breeze) - beautiful outside grounds - walking distance to grocery, bank, library, post office, cooking class, yoga, food, coffee shops, shops ( you can't really find that anywhere else in socal, you can live here w/o a car..if you work nearby) - farmer's market every thurs right outside your doorway (fresh fruits, veggies, cute doggies, hot dogs, mexican corn ...your standard farmer's market, nothing spectacular but decent) - the building is right next to the Muzeo , so if you live facing that side, its kind of nice facing a museum and not another property. - get mooch off benefits of security from the Muzeo walking around outside. - Soon opening packing district (hopefully bring some life to this area...see con below) - choice between Time Warner and ATT - gym included (small but if all you do is run on a treadmill like me, its all I need) - the walls, aren't really walls, more like open dividers, so if you do get a 2bd or 1 bd..make sure you're really into the "open concept", also not great for family or roommates IMO but hey if you're into living in one giant open room, this is for u. - the double glass windows are good in keeping the noise out. - online payment options - lots of events going on all the time (been here only a month and already been to the art party and the firkfest beer festival, all right outside our door!) cons: - no extra storage - STORES: quiet area is a pro, but also a con. All the pre-made hipster shops that they opened here are always really dead for the most part. Really worries me if they all shut down. They also all close really early like 6-7pm. - BLINDS: are see through at night (no real privacy), so if you are living on the first floor be ready to be on display (although no one really ever walks by) - UPSTAIRS : the floors are not concrete in between ( i know this cause I can hear the dinosaur stomping around on top of us) - ADVERTISEMENT : Not really a con, more of an FYI. Their ad on craiglist/rent/etc is horrible, says nothing about the actual units available and uses stock photos from somewhere else. The prices advertised also seem random and not reflective of whats available. The actual buildings are very unique and have several style of units that are all very different. I suggest you call and make appt to tour the place and see what is available because the ads don't do them justice. And because the units are all very different, you might not get the chance to see them all if they are currently occupied. So even if don't see what you like, check back, something might open up in the same or a different building that is completely different then the ones you toured. I ended up touring 3 times and finding a unit I did not know existed the first time I toured. Also the "video tour" is so cheesy and doesn't show off all the different units as well. The one it shows is the studio, the 1bd, 2bd, and lofts look totally different (minus the kitchen which are all the same in all the promenade units, differing only in size) - PARKING. 1bd apt comes with 1 spot. If you want a 2nd you have to go through the city of Anaheim parking and park in one of the structures across the street and pay extra monthly, the spots are also not assigned. There is also no guest parking. However, there are plenty of free 2hr parking and free parking from 7pm-7am in the lots as well. - if you leave the one block radius, its back to regular ghetto - a large portion of Carnige plaza is rented out by Disney as a Disney Intern dorm, so expect a lot of young college kids around. Although, I never had any noise/disturbance issue. TLDR: beautiful property and units in an area that is still very young in it's revitalizing stage. Rent is on the higher side but that also means financially stable neighbors. Great place for young professionals, quiet, convenient, with good prospects from all the shops opening around and events. read more

We've lived her now for about 4 months and the community is super friendly. Anything that needs taken care is usually done the next day. Every member of the staff here is super friendly and very attentive, especially the ladies in the leasing office. When we moved in the pool and the courtyard were still being worked on. This a complete LIE saying you charge residents when they bring more than 2 guests on the patio. I know at least 5 residents that have had more than 2 guests on the patio on several occasions that told me they were never charged a fee. read more
