Dann's been my barber for years. He gets it right every time. It's worth what you pay for. Just be sure to text/call your barber a few days to a week in advance to make sure you're accommodates as their slots fill up quick. They always have either sports or chill music up, lending to the good ambiance. Location's good and so is parking. No complaints here. read more

Ed was able to listen to what I wanted done, since I never get my hair done at shops like this. He was also able to educated me about hair and styling. Ed was very personable and professional. My teenage son had an appt today at 3pm. His ride fell through and he was making arrangements to get another ride when jared called. I explained the situation and he said if he wasn't there by 3:15, he would not be able to see him and would have to charge me. I said he was making every effort but understood. My son found a friend to take him and got there at 3:20. Jared would not budge even though he knew the issue. Now I was left saying he would have been nice to make an exception. I am pretty sure that the appts leave more than a 5 min window in between. Additionally, he could have skipped steps to make it work. I am very upset that this place would still charge. We have supported this local business every time we could during the pandemic. Now apparently they don't care enough about customer service to work with a teenager boy who struggled to make it there. Hope those 5 min were worth losing a customer over Modern Man. read more

I'm a vallejo native and have been getting my taper line up for years now .. I can easily say this is the BEST outcome I've had yet .. making the appointment was no problem.. I was 15 minutes late and they completely understood the confusion. Jeremy was my barber and he made sure every detail was perfect by taking his time and looking over everything . His straight razor work is on point along with his line up and fading . My experience here was amazing. The cut is clean and the guys that work the barbershop are hella nice. My barber Jeremy was cool and just an all around good experience. It's a little pricey but it's worth the money for a great experience and a quality cut. They're really good at listening to you and trying to give you what you wanted out of your haircut. Was a little difficult finding the barbershop, there is no store name sign on top. Its right next to Mi Universe Nail Shop. Anyways, Ed is da GOAT!! Got da best fade ever!! I called to make an appointment to get my 3 boys a haircut. Made an appointment the same day. Jeremy (or Jeremiah) got started right away. Ed was able to start on another boy. Their attention to detail was great. They worked so well with my boys. Once the first 2 were done Jeremy got started on my 16 month old. This was his 3rd haircut, but his first time sitting by himself. Jeremy was SO great with him! I didn't have to run mommy interference once! He sat calmly the entire time. It was fantastic. They also turned on cartoons for the boys to watch and gave the older ones lollipops while they waited. I was very impressed by everything. I highly recommend this place and especially Jeremy and Ed. I think i found my usual place for my boys to get fantastic looking hair! read more

I'm really disappointed, the shop is a all appointment only and I was told to come back two hours later and it was a spot available. I waited the two hours and then return to a closed shop sign, but luckily another barber Walked in the shop to open the doors just to see the barber I made the appointment with doing so repair work. He told me to wait a little bit longer than ask did I care who cut me ? I replied no , he then told me another barber would be able to serve me if I waited another ten minutes. So after waiting for the new barber to come out and service me I was given one of the worst I've ever seen and after multiple attempts to assist the barber I just said that enough and asked how much since it was my first time in the shop . I was given the full 40 dollars price and watched the other two first time clients get a discount for being new customers. After all this I still had to go home and shave my own hair off to save face from this massacre of a haircut. Ruined my day and work week ,save your self the stress read more
