Was our first time but he guided us with recommendations of various lights to be used, backgrounds, use of flash with our lower ceilings, and our outfit coordination. Handled kids well and did his best to get them engaged and looking at camera. Would recommend having toys prepared for him to use for this purpose. Huascar took our family portrait for a special cultural occasion. He was absolutely amazing and we really recommend working with him. Prior to the photo shoot, he was great about making suggestions on locations (found out through him that we needed permission to take pictures at some places). He was also very accommodating with our schedule. I mentioned to him that the portrait was for special cultural event and he even researched about it prior to the day of the photoshoot so he could make suggestions on props and poses. This meant a lot to me that he actually took time to do that. The day of the photoshoot, he was punctual and came before the photoshoot to scout the location. Our daughter is 4 year old, and he was amazing working with her that she stayed engaged for the duration of the photoshoot (which is pretty long for a 4 year old). We all had a lot of fun. Had a family photoshoot with SC photography, it was a great experience from the beginning and the result is amazing! Huascar kindly accommodated our tight schedule and was very patient the whole time. I had corporate headshots taken recently with SC Photography. I researched a few other photographers, and SC seemed to have the best quality pictures for the most reasonable price (half hour studio package for $60). I got 3 retouched pictures as well as all the other pictures from the shoot in digital form. I am always nervous having my picture taken, but the photographer helped me feel more at ease.
