All of the things we tried were delicious. Our fav was the gobi dynamite. Very flavorful but just be aware it's a bit on the spicier side. The hakka noodles and momos were on point as well. Definitely will be back to try some of the other offerings too read more

First things first, excellent customer service by Joe and Francis. We ordered Togo and Joe helped with item suggestions and also helped customize some dishes. Indo -Chinese cuisine is extremely popular back home and hard to get here in the US. However. Houstonions had Alings, which kind of has the monopoly for Indochinese cuisine - till now. Of late, due to their bad service and deteriorating quality of food, we had stopped going to Alings's. Now we are so happy this place opened up . The food is very good, tastes good and they customize the spice levels , we ordered family pack of Hara bhara paneer kebab, pan fried noodles( reminds me of American chopsuey) with sweet sauce, malai paneer, burnt Garlic fried rice , lassi, Gulab jamun. Interesting menu, an Indian/Chinese fusion. Our server was friendly and eager to help us decide what to order and recommend new flavors and amazing dishes to us. The noodle filled spring rolls were so delicious with a wonderful and original seasoning. The curry dishes are unique and flavorful and the appetizers are so yummy. So many things to try. Have been in houston for a decade and i am a food enthusiast. Personally i didn't like the food . Its super greasy !!!! They have a great management and very hood sales person but definitely not the chef . May be its very personal how you want the food to be but its definitely not for someone who doesn't like greasy stuff . I do eat deeply fried stuff when we eat out but what we got from this place is really terrible. Even the biryani is so greasy we ended up trashing . read more

This is such a hidden gem! The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. And the food was delicious! We got the chicken Hakka noodles and the chili fried rice. It was the perfect spice level that we wanted (spicy!) and the portions were huge! My family haven't found this exact taste in Indian-Chinese food in ages. Highly recommended. read more

Server was amazing and nice but the food was awful. I ordered pakora which was raw and felt like I'm eating raw flour. I ordered Hakka noodles and they served me some random spaghetti (not hakka noodles) because they apparently don't even know what Hakka noodle is. This is a very good spot for indo.chinese food I tried there green chilli chicken,chilli pepper panner,burnt garlic fried rice,pan fried noodles. I had Momos, nawabi chicken biryani, Monk's special noodles, green chili fried rice. The food was not only delicious to say the least but also great portions for the price! Ordered the Hakka noodles and gobi manchurian and both were terrible. The gobi manchurian was lacking in flavors and the balls seemed to be undercooked. The gravy seemed to be a generic one that could go with any item. Somehow the appearance was in contrast to the taste. The noodles used for the hakka noodles are below average with them being sticky and it again lacked most flavors. The chef also needs to understand that vegetarian food needs to be cooked in separate pots and pans. There was a strong smell of non-veg food. As far as the portion sizes go, one of the reviewers mentioned big portions, I completely disagree with them. The portions were below average and I did not order lunch portions. We usually do not throw food in the trash but sadly we had to with this one. This place is definitely not going to be known for their vegetarian items. I should have known better, especially after looking at the menu and seeing maggi as a glorified option on it. It is still early for this restaurant and if they are quick to modify their recipes they may stand a chance. To the owners, taste the Gobi Manchurian and hakka noodles at Alings and Mayuri, that is how it's made, it's not only about appearances, it has to be eaten too. read more
