Had a very filling dinner here! I arrived around 7:45pm in the middle of the week with no reservation, and we were seated within 5-10 minutes. You don't have to chose the $60 AYCE option, but I do think you get great value if you do AYCE compared to the packages that aren't. You get a dry erase marker and make your selections on the menu. I was impressed by the wide variety of options from soups like clam chowder to lobster rolls to vegetables to salads to the seafood options. I ended up trying scallops, corn, Dungeness crab, king crab legs, broccoli. I also tried both the house blend and the garlic butter sauces. To be honest, the butter was overpowering in both sauces so next time I would just try the original Cajun sauce. The portion of food you get and the quality is great! Decent amount of lobster in the lobster roll, and good amount of meat in the shellfish. I also love that they had the Knicks vs Cavs game playing. It's also cute that they change the song to a happy birthday song when they're celebrating someone's birthday. It's definitely a more casual ambiance but fun for celebrating birthdays. I also appreciate that they supply plenty of gloves, crackers, as well as bibs. It'll def be a messy eating experience! I am a huge fan of this place! There's truly nothing like getting all you can eat crab legs/seafood and at a good price. We usually order the AYCE special which is around $60 on the weekends and with that, you get $3 drinks (pretty much anything). You can order anything from snow crab and crawfish, to mussels, scallops, shrimp etc., and pick your sauce and add ins. This place does get crowded on the weekend so reservations are definitely advised. They do a great job of getting around to every table to keep the food and drinks flowing. Today i made my journey to Holtsville, Island where I came across The Monster Crab. Located right off the Long Island expressway on exit 62. I was craving something new and when I first did my research on this place, my mind immediately started racing with all the seafood options they have especially you can also stay for their All You Can Eat seafood menu, only $59.99 and it includes everything! Unfortunately we did not participate in the all you can eat. The service was phenomenal, our server was extremely friendly and made sure that our order came out fast and fresh. We started with their Shrimp and fries basket. Deeply fried, close to jumbo shrimp, these shrimps were top tier! The golden brown coated paired extremely well with the French fries and house honey mustard sauce. I highly recommend wetting your pallet with an order of the shrimp and fries basket. Then, while exploring the menu further, I was looking around and was seeing what the others were ordering so i decided on giving their shrimp a try. I ordered a pound of their headless shrimp, with Cajun seasoning and spice level on spicy, and I promise you it's not that type of spice, it's a simple kick so the flavor deep deeply into the shrimp and or any other seafood. Man oh man were they good! The savoryness of the Cajun blend with the spice was definitely that hit the spot! Perfectly cooked shrimp, that comes with a potato and corn piece! So suckling and mouth watering, I literally cannot wait to revisit and give their clams and even lobster a try! Fun fact: on Tuesdays they have a lobster that weighs a little over a pound for $20! For $52, I think it was reasonably priced given the current inflation crisis. To be honest, the noodles may have been my favorite part.
