The water is prettier, less crowded, less expensive, and only 15 minutes away from the upscale, expensive dining options of Orange Beach. The local restaurants in PK are not pretentious and expensive. Has all the makings of a high end private island, with perfect beaches on the Gulf, yet has kept it's small village feel to it. Have always had a nice stay when I've had to come up for work. Condos are nice and well equipped. One word of advice, due to strict island government, cell phone companies are only allowed towers at the entry point of the island so cell reception is quite poor the farther down the island you go, especially here at the condo. A range extender from your network provider to connect into your home Internet is a must if you are dependent on your phone as I am. Overall a very nice place to come and visit or spend a weekend.

Traffic has a tendency to get pretty congested in the mornings between 7-8. Overall, we were very pleased! If we had to experience it over again, we'd choose Kings Mill.

If you are looking for secluded upscale waterfront homes or lots, Innerarity Island will be the first place to look. It is technically not an island, but a peninsula, attached to Innnerarity Point by a narrow causeway. So there is no bridge to cross, only dry land. It is a beautiful area of big oak trees with Spanish moss surrounded by waterfront on all sides.It is a boater's dream with easy access to the Gulf of Mexico through either Pensacola Pass, or the pass at Alabama Point. It is just a few miles from the sugar white beaches of Perdidio Key. It is also very close to Pensacola NAS. Innerarity Point is also home to the famous Original Point Restaurant where they have some of the best seafood in Pensacola, and Hub Stacy's Bar and Grill, which has great live entertainment and a public boat launch. Further eastward up the point there are many waterfront homes that range in price up to a million dollars, and an eclectic collection of interior homes and townhomes in every price range built from the 1950's through today. Some areas of Innerarity Point have surprisingly high elevations, as can be seen from the homes on Canal drive just west of the Theo Barrs bridge. On the north side of the point, there are also some low wetlands. It seems as though there is always building going on out that way, as some of the older homes get updated, and some are torn down to make way for new homes and townhouses. Because of the one-way-in one-way-out access, and the amount of desirable waterfront property, I think the future of that area is going to be bright, and that it will be a great place to live. I am thinking about buying a lot out there myself! Also a new Publix supermarket has opened, so shopping is now very convenient.

We loved it here and would like to give a huge shout out to the maintenance team, they have been super helpful in our stay here and are always quick to respond! They provided fans to dry the floors. That's it. They didn't try to regrade the ground to divert the water, put in better drains, or literally anything else. They knew is was a problem well before I moved in, but did barely anything. Do not EVER rent a unit in the first floor of these apartment buildings. We had extremely loud upstairs neighbors (music vibrated our light fixtures). Although I was frustrated at the neighbors in general, the main issue was that the upstairs units are not carpeted in the living areas. So, everything said, played, etc. upstairs was heard downstairs. Do not EVER rent a unit on the first floor. So basically, the only good units are those on the second floor. With that being said, you will be the "pesky" neighbor upstairs, because there is literally no fool-proof way to ensure that your neighbor(s) downstairs aren't privy to your noise, regardless of your volume.

The twin size pullout was wrapped in plastic with water between the mattress and plastic and moldy. Talk about gross. They also messed up on our reservation amount and when booked it was $900 less. A couple months after we get an email saying because of a glitch in system it was quoted at wrong price. Had to scramble to find another unit. Also there are no elevators or anything. If you are on an upper floor you will be carrying everything up a couple flights of stairs. There were roaches around pool area. The beach is very nice and a short walk away. Kids had a blast hunting crabs and not very busy. So there is some pros to this place.
