    Burger, a must try!

Spirulina water, smoothies and the smash burger are a few of my favorite items. Recently, I tried the chicken pesto pizza and found it to be tasty, too. I feel less guilty about pigging out at Moringa because I know they use good ingredients! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff are wonderful, food comes out quickly and it's got such a cozy feel![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I wanted to love this place especially because we support small business...but this was an underwhelming experience to say the least. We arrived at 3:20, they close at 4:00. No one was very friendly and honestly they seemed annoyed we came in that late to closing. I'd pass on the chips and gauc, for twelve hours it was not worth it. The gauc tasted just like the premade stuff from the store, and the cup of salsa was very tiny (although to be fair I believe you order one or the other). The burger was good, but they were out of potatoes. The flat bread wasn't very good, either. Our bill was 75; but nothing here was worth 75. Unsure if we just had a bad experience compared to all the other five star reviews but, it definitely was not a pleasant experience.

This was such great find! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and great food![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got the Ruben on gluten free bread, it was by far the base Ruben I have ever had. Give the blue spirilla water a try! Check out https://moringatreetn.com for more info

I want to keep this place a secret but I can't, it's so good! I've also had their Nachos, Avocado Toast with a Fried Egg, the Grilled Cheese.and Peanut Butter Energy balls.

Everything I have had so far has been phenomenally good. Not a huge menu but good enough. I just wished they were open longer hours. It is on my list every time I'm going to breakfast or lunch.

Had a taco salad yesterday. It was soooo good and so fresh. I'm in the area often for work and I'm already excited to try it again!

My husband had to make an unscheduled, quick trip to Bowling Green this week for work. I decided to travel with him. I will never skip a trip to Bowling Green again, just so I can go back to this bakery. I have been gluten-free for 13 years and have tried gluten-free baked products all over the country from Washington state to Florida. Awaken Bakery has absolutely broken the code on gluten-free bread and desserts. My husband does not eat gluten-free unless he takes a bite of something I have. Yesterday, he tried a blueberry scone, shared a toasty sandwich with me, shared a sausage biscuit with me, and also got a lemon cake cup. He said everything he ate, he would not ever have been able to tell was gluten-free and was absolutely delicious. Oh, he also shared my cinnamon roll with me. We devoured that thing in less time than it took to actually order and pay for it! That cinnamon roll was the BEST cinnamon roll I have ever had in my life, gluten-free or not! I also got a mini cupcake sampler that had wedding cake, carrot cake, and a chocolate version that I have not tried yet. Having traveled the country to eat, lol, I can tell you that this Awaken Bakery is one place that I will absolutely put on my list to travel back to any opportunity I have. I wish I hadn't been starving and had taken the time to take photos of their sweet little bake shop and all of our food before we started devouring it, but I did manage to grab a photo of the cupcake sampler, minus one cupcake, the French toast, cup, and the lemon cake cup. Everything was so delicious that I even bought a hat and T-shirt and ball cap from them. I am including a photo of that. The little girl that took our order was super sweet and very knowledgeable. Everyone there was incredibly friendly, and everything we have tried or devoured, was absolutely delicious! Seriously, gluten-free or not, go visit Awaken Bakery!

As one the most popular restaurants in all of Nashville, Biscuit Love epitomizes many things that…read moremake Nashville, well, Nashville. For starters, the city's natural party scene requires two things: fatty food and hangover remedies. Biscuit love serves both in one package, from buttery dishes to gravies that sooth that hangover better than any detox juice ever could. The second thing that firmly embeds Biscuit Love into its location is the biscuit. Coming to the south and not trying this phenomenal delicacy should be borderline illegal. And, Biscuit Love, perhaps, just perhaps, makes the best biscuits to be had out there. That is a dangerous thing to admit, but their unique texture of borderline croissant-ish layering of dough makes these biscuits dangerously delicate. They aren't those classic crumbly dry ones one many southerners are used to, but rather a revolution into what a biscuit should be. Lastly, Nashville's love for fried chicken and hot chicken is the other reason to come here. Well brined, perfectly crispy chicken at Biscuit Love is spectacular in every way that it should be and will wipe off that hangover from the face of the earth in minutes.

When you walk into the restaurant it has a laid back, urban, and southern comfort vibe. You'll place your order at the counter and then handed a number. Someone sat us once we were handed the number but it may just be open seating. We ordered the Bonuts (fried biscuit dough, tossed in sugar and topped with lemon mascarpone and served over blueberry compote). The bonuts were by far my favorite part of the meal, perfectly balanced and a must order. For our entree we split the East Nasty (buttermilk biscuit, topped with chicken tenders, buttermilk white cheddar cheese, bear creek sausage gravy and we added an egg). The biscuit was good but needed a little more gravy. I also used hot sauce as I wanted a bit more of a kick with my biscuit. If you are in the Nashville id definitely recommend stopping the for brunch.
