My daughter sent me roses for Valentines Day. She ordered for same day delivery. The delivery was expected but it was getting pretty late so I called. Customer service was impeccable. She sent a message to driver for me and let me know that it was still out for delivery. Driver called me about 10 minutes after I called customer service to let me know he was 5 mins from my house. That was Friday 2/14. Today is Monday 2/17 and the roses are still as perky and beautiful as they were when I received them Friday. That's a nice surprise because roses usually die quickly. I see all the negative reviews for Terry's Florist here but I just did not have that experience. Keep in mind this is a third party seller site. You have to be aware that these sites are NOT where the flowers are coming from. They are coming from a local florist near your home who sees the photo u ordered on Terry's Florist website and matches it as closely as they can with what they have on hand. So it's never or very rarely going to be an exact replica. Nothing is, everything will be different because of obvious reasons. So never hold the website accountable for what your local florist sends out to you. Take it out on the florist that actually made the arrangement. It was up to them to fulfill it and match the pic you ordered from as best they can. Give a little grace unless it's just wayyyyy out of the ballpark. My roses are beautiful and I want to thank Terry's florist for such wonderful customer service. To get same day delivery on actual Valentine's Day is amazing! DO NOT USE. I ordered flowers for my wife on our anniversary on June 4. I heard nothing from the florist and had to email them after the workday to find out they messed up. They asked if they could deliver them on the 5th and I said yes as long as they can be delivered before she leaves work. They said they couldn't guarantee that even though they're the ones that messed up the day before. The email I received after from somebody named Carl had the attitude of "oh well ". I called the store, and was put on hold for five minutes, then told that there were no supervisors to talk to. So, my wife did not get flowers on our anniversary or the day after. I placed an order for delivery to a small town in Georgia. The order was placed well before the 2pm, free delivery, same day delivery notification they posted online. The gentleman who was helping me had a audacity to place me on hold verify that they had the item in stock, then proceeded to take my complete order and my credit card information I instantly got a confirmation of the order and my credit card charges via email only for them to call me and tell me that what I had requested was not available. I seriously do not understand why they would even bother to place me on hold and verify that they had item in stock to only call me back and tell me that no they don't have in stock and haven't had it in stock for sometime and won't have it until around Valentine's Day. They told me that they will go ahead and cancel my order because I did not wish to place an order for anything else since I do not feel comfortable with them as it is yet they will not send me an email confirmation of my canceled order or of my refund. I've called back again and again and they said that they have submitted a request for my cancellation confirmation email to be sent to me but I still have not received it. See the attached pictures! The one titled "Eternal Grace Spray" is what I actually ordered. It is beautifully pictured and described. It is supposed to have an 11 inch crystal cross KEEPSAKE on top. This is the only reason I ordered it. I always order funeral flowers that have a keepsake with religious significance. I paid $285 for this beautiful arrangement. I called the day ahead of time to confirm it would be there and asked specifically if they had made any substitutions and specifically asked about the cross. I was told that YES, it would be there, they had confirmed with the funeral home and that no, there were no substitutions and YES, the crystal cross was included. The other picture is entitled "Crap they delivered". It is NOT even close to the same spray. It is much smaller and smooshed up. This had poorly died blue mums, then some white ones, no pretty lilies, NO CRYSTAL cross, just a wooden dollar store cross pick that said sympathy, one dying hydrangea, and drooping roses. Do not order flowers from this "florist". I chose the $59.99 Deluxe Multicolor Tulip Bouquet displayed online to be delivered to a cousin who had been ill. It was beautiful, described by Terry's Florist as "incomparable tulips in red, purple and pink displayed in a charming red swirl vase." The tulip bouquet that was delivered was garish, with bright yellow, orange, white, red, purple flowers in a triangular purple vase with a large red bow, nothing that I would have chosen. The final order total came up as $59.99, and that is what I thought I paid. The subsequent "order confirmation" email added tax, which is ok, and a SERVICE FEE of $15.99, so the entire order came to $80.18 instead of $59.99. Wish I had done research, but I was in a rush for a funeral. Very poor communication. Repeatedly misled me about what was possible/likely with respect to delivery. Did not deliver with appropriate card and then lied about it. They advertise "day of delivery" and I opted for the following day, figuring that if they were advertising honestly that this would not be an issue or that they would communicate with me appropriately if it was not possible. They only called me the day after they said they would deliver to try to fix errors and never contacted me to confirm delivery. (I had to follow up/get information from grieving family members to get answers and then call Terry's Florist again.) Overall, an unnecessarily stressful experience I especially did not need in light of the funeral the flowers were for. The lack of empathy for why timing mattered and why I was requesting honest communication was striking. read more
