Their T shirts used to be great - lovely soft cotton - I hadn't bought any in several years and decided to... what a huge disappointment! The dye is so unbelievably thick that it took five deep washes to get rid of most of it... and the cotton was awful - rough and scratchy. I sent a comment to which the response was that they would contact me in one to two business days - well of course they never did! Buyer beware! Editing - so I am getting almost daily e mails from this company asking me to give them my thoughts - every time I have replied with my concerns - every time they say they will respond within one to two business days, and every time, guess what, they don't!!! Have gotten these shirts from this company in retail stores and their online as well. Ordered 7 new ones Black Friday and they are like 2 sizes smaller then they have been in the past. Now they will do nothing about it. Cheaper cotton used as well which could be the problem. These new ones are extremely rough feeling. read more

This is my absolute favorite t-shirt clothing company. The last I knew they don't sell to the public, just to stores, but if you call them they can tell you what stores in your neighborhood carry their shirts. I see them on eBay all the time too. No matter what subject you like--they have got beautiful shirts you will love. My favorites are the fairies, wizards, angels and dragons. They also have cats and dogs, zoo and jungle animals, sea life, baby animals, old trains and planes, reptiles, floral, and you name it. The shirts are really good quality and are all hand dyed in a single color tie-dye pattern. They really hold up and last for years. They have them in men's women's and children's. Everywhere I go people comment on whichever one I'm wearing--"I love your shirt--where did you get it?" It's nice to get compliments! read more

I ordered almost a MONTH ago. Order still 'awaiting fullfillment'. I have send them several emails. 0 response. I open the chat. The chat works but noone is awnsering. I have filed a PayPal claim. They are not responding to the PayPal claim either. Now i guess i hope the PayPal times for response expires sooner as the company. Because it seems they are no longer in business. While I liked the shirts the quality was not that great so the shirts go bad quickly, the prices are insane at $35 for one shirt. Trying to search the site is made harder by the long load times for useless fancy animations after clicks, Now constantly nagged by a fake spin the wheel for 20% stops you from completing your orders. Ordering should be simple and smooth but its never been. I stopped buying their product due to the terrible mobile phone on PC ordering experience. Very shady, buyer beware. See review from December, all true. I purchased a shirt and it way to small, all through I have other Mountain shirts in the same size, there's no consistence. The website says that I should get a store credit, which is all I want to move up a size and they are not giving me the credit regardless on what there policy clearly says on there site. I would have not purchased anything without a return policy. They are being dishonest to the customers, and know they left me no chose but to dispute the charges with the credit card company. It's a shame because I really like there shirts. "If merchandise is returned beyond the 30 day period, or otherwise ineligible per our policy (such as clearance, made-to-order, and international), a store credit will be issued for the cost of the merchandise only. I've been a long time customer and have always been very impressed with the quality and designs of their apparel products. I recently made a purchase and got a "let me check into it" response when I called customer service after waiting over 2 weeks for it to be shipped. It wasn't until I threatened to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge - which had been made 3 weeks earlier by that point in time - that I finally got a shipping confirmation for my order. I never received any apology, reason, expedited shipping, or offer for a discount on future orders for the inconvenience. One of the items ordered, in fact, was intended as a birthday present, which did not make it in time. The Mountain will need to be having a very good sale, or something I just can't live without, in order for me to buy anything from them again. read more

The shirts are fantastic and the art work amazing, but the obsession with putting their logo smack dab in the middle of the artwork is incredibly obnoxious. When you pay these prices for a t-shirt to make a statement, you don't expect to be wearing a brand. If you wanted to be branded you could get several Old Navy shirts for the price of one of these. At the very least they could put the logo on the back of the collar so the artwork wouldn't be impacted. read more

Have been a loyal mountain customer for many years but with my latest order The Mountain company has gone down hill. I placed order in late October followed up 2-3 times to be told order was not in production due to an error then radio silence since, despite 2-3 more emails and 2 phone calls. Finally last email I asked them to cancel my order 3.5 months after I placed it and was refunded without any explanation why it wasn't filled. Has really left a sour taste. read more

I am still waiting for my shirt which I ordered on black Friday... when I inquired about the tracking info (they only got back to me after a few attempts) they said that it has not shipped yet... WHAT?! it takes them a week for a t-shirt to not yet be shipped? After inquiring how long before it shipped, the answer was, there is no way to tell. I purchased a 2 groupon which was 19.00 for 40.00 in shirts. Basically buy one get one free. I let them expire which means they are only worth the amount I paid. This company said I had to use them on separate purchases even though expired so they could rip me off on shipping. They were willing to give me a bogo free offer to get a new customer but made me pay shipping twice for what could have been one order. Hmmmm.....how stupid! LOSE a customer over $5.00 but willing to spend $20.00 to get a new one. Not smart business ethics in any university. People in charge are apparently uneducated in customer service. read more

Buyers beware. I placed an order for 2 tee shirts and promptly returned them with the enclosed return form due to bad fit. After two months and no credit I contacted Mountain and was told that I could not get a refund because the shirts were "made to order" (?? standard prints??) I advised them that I would never have ordered clothes on the internet that I could not return and felt that it was not evident they were non refundable when I placed the order . Their response was that is was very clear but I could contact a supervisor via email for consideration of a refund. Before I did that I duplicated my order and NEVER saw anything suggesting that it was non refundable all the way through to check out. I emailed as suggested and advised them of my complaint and stated I had wanted a refund- not a store credit. My response from them was a picture of a pop up on their site (which never showed on my order page) of a no refund policy for "made to order" and a statement that they would only issue a store credit. Since that snarly response I contacted my credit card company and have disputed the charge. When my credit card company reviewed the original charge they said it was generated from the Netherlands. When I ordered the Tee shirts got them in about a week via Priority Mail. Paid a flat fee of $5.00 which was really great and the shirts looked great. Problem was I got the wrong size. SO I returned them by priority mail with delivery confirmation and waited....and waited. The returns got back to them in 2 days. Finally called them after about 2 weeks and they had to check to see if they received the items back. Yes they did...which I already knew. So asked how long does it take for returns to be new shirts to be sent out..the answer: THREE TO FOUR WEEKS! So make sure you get the right size cause if you don't, their poor customer return service will frustrate you. read more
