They had so many classic toys we remember from our own childhoods, plus an incredible selection of stuffed animals, games, and books for all ages. The staff was genuinely the kindest--so friendly and welcoming, they made us feel right at home. And the real star of the show? Luna, the shop dog. They have all the major genres including sci-fi/fantasy, romance, thrillers, mysteries, and children's. I was a tad disappointed in the paperback prices, where a lot of the books are 10-15+ years old and pretty worn. Plus, the paperbacks were more expensive than the hardcovers, which makes no sense. My favorite thing in the store was the big trash bin filled with "trashy" novels. We got a good chuckle over that. It's worth a stop if you're a bookworm who happens to be driving through Plymouth.

We like the owner and we feel she's got a pretty good stock of new and some used books along with a very nice children's area (play space and books). It's a welcome stop in this part of Vermont (the Northeast Kingdom) and makes us happy.
