I had an oversized fireplace that was too big for my home. My consultation with Joe was great. His…read morerecommendation for a free standing stove coincided with what I was thinking. Joe was very up front about the cost and the timeline. Once the crew started they were in and out in two half days and that included the city inspection. The service included moving the venting system to another wall, replacing the tile on the fireplace floor and tiling the wall. Also, it included replacing the siding in the location of the old vent. I did not have to worry about cleanup as they removed everything and even vacuumed the area where they were working. The price was very much in line with what I was told by other people. There were no surprises. Joe and his crew are very customer forward, they answered all of my questions and explained what they were doing at each step of the process. I could tell that they knew their job and did it well. I would highly recommend this place.

The Fireplace Doctor offered a narrower arrival window (2 vs 4 hours), a competitive clean up and repair fee, and a better repair solution. The place we bought the fireplace and used prior for service was good. For this repair the alternative services provide stated the likely part needed was an entire assembly made up of three parts and cost $200+. The Fireplace Doctor proposed changing one of the three components. And the price was $20.

We want to have a wood-burning fireplace to gather around in the winter. We had a couple of estimates and Chimney Doctors were confident and took the time to explain the work to us. Probably, that's our biggest issue with them. The estimate was a bit confusing since some of what seemed like options were both elements to have addressed if we wanted to have use of the fireplace and an option for one of those elements. But when we called to ask, they were great. We most recently had our chimney rebuilt from the roof up. It was such a smooth process working with Cole and everyone at Chimney Doctors. We had all of our questions answered, we got a call each morning letting us know when they would arrive, and the rebuild looks great.
