I have been coming to Mystic reef for over a year and half. Jeremy has been a great help in getting my 180 gallon tank to become a reef. I have always had awesome service and both brothers always are willing to share their expertise. Everything I have gotten from the store has done well in my tank. Jeremy is great a giving deals by building packages. He is respectful to never push you to buy high or something that would not do well in your tank. Both brothers have a passion for reefing and fish care in general. They even have a fresh water section. I'm a reefer and my first choice is to go to mystic reef. If they don't have what you are looking for, they will find it for you. This is a great store. read more

Best fish store around hands down. I have been to every fish store around, half of which dont even have their own tanks at home. These guys have a 300 and know what it takes to maintain a highend reef system. Prices are fair and they more than make it worth it with the knowledge you receive. Wasn't given proper instructions for care of green spotted puffer and they both died. Was told my parameters were correct when in fact they were not. If you're looking for knowledgeable customer service you should look elsewhere. read more

This place is the best I've seen any where near the Inland Empire, and my girlfriend and I have made the drive to more than 6 or 7 local fish shops. The guys, specifically jeremy, are great, spent hours with us helping educate us on how to set uo our tank and fuge, and what the best options were for sand, additives etc. Worth the drive for sure! read more

So December 19th, my husband and I are on our way back to Vegas from the San Diego zoo. We have a 29 gallon biocube at home with seven fish, one starfish, one shrimp, one Duncan frag with three heads, one green BTA, and a bunch of various types of snails. We stop in at Mystic Reef because it was the closest destination to our hotel in Mira Loma. We look and decide to buy some frag's, but we are still new at corals so we really didn't know what healthy versus unhealthy corals looked like. We talked with the guy who is really personable and he talked us into buying a bunch of frags. We bought 7 and he gave us 2 for free and spent about $160.00 total including a bottle of phytoplankton. After going through a long acclimation process, we think they look good but forgot the names of them so we took pictures. I called and tried to ask over the phone when he said I should just text him the pictures and he would tell us the names. But, NO response ever. Over the next few weeks, our corals don't seem to be growing and eventually die. When they started to look bad, we went to a bunch of different fish stores in Vegas and ask what kind of corals they are. Them mention that they look very unhealthy and we said we bought them like that. We have been checking the water because we thought it might be lack of calcium or too much phosphates, but everything has been fine. So they suggest adding Coral Reef energy and water changes. So we have been dosing for. Couple weeks. So far they still aren't doing any better except the mushrooms, glove polyp, and free SPS he gave us. So through this entire situation, I feel like we wasted a bunch of money. I 100% believe that since we said we were new to corals and that we lived in Vegas that the guy deliberately sold us dying corals without telling us. I truly am disappointed with this shop and will NEVER GO BACK! read more

Lots of corals with a wide selection. Owners are really passionate about reefing and always will try and give you a good price. I like the store but the only reason I gave it 3 stars is the shop is always a mess. Tons of salt creep everywhere and tanks just look dirty all the time. These guys really need to organize and clean up the tanks, I feel nervous about buying any high dollar corals because I don't know the quality of their water. Based on the state of the store it cant be good. read more

Can't say enough good things about Jeremy and his brother Adam. I started reefing this year and have plenty of questions - they are patient and allow us to ask a myriad of questions. I've been able to get more information from them in a half an hour than I could find online in days. Prices are good, stock of corals are excellent. My first marine aquarium is finally maturing enough to grow corals and The Mystic Reef is a huge resource. You can really tell that this place is run by passionate hobbyists. Most of the corals are grown in Jeremy and Adam's personal tanks and are very healthy. All of the frags that I bring home from here open up right away and show signs of growth within a couple weeks. All of the mobile animals here are very healthy as well, with most of the fish being captive bred from ORA. Also, the peppermint shrimp are fed aiptasia to get them in the habit! One of the best marine aquarium stores in the Inland Empire, five stars! read more

I have been shopping at mystic for almost as long as they have been open great store, great guys, best place Iv been too in Cali.

I've driven here three times during the hours they have listed on their door and it's been closed two of those three times. Don't bother coming here without calling first. It's a nice little shop if they would bother to be open. read more

I love coming to mystic reef. I've never gotten an unhealthy fish or brought home any parasites. Jeremy is full of knowledge and got me into coral keeping. I'm finally keeping corals alive and they're slowly growing too. They also sell pre mixed saltwater and RODI water which is super convenient. I've never left this shop empty handed and always find cool corals and fish to learn about. read more

I have been going to the mystic reed for the past 3 years. Adam and Jeremy are always friendly and always try to help. Its enjoyable to shop there because you are treated as an individual and not like a number as so many other stores treat you. The store is always clean and is always stocked with rare and exotic corals and they always offer great deals and very competitive prices. This store doesnt even deserve this one star but in order to post this comment i have no other choice... I went to the store to look around to see the selection of fishes they had. I asked for a price of one particular fish, since they don't post the prices on tanks. Then Jeremy (the owner) started to negotiate the price so that i will buy the fish, i said no.. Then he started to follow me around the store with a net and the fish container after i told him no.. He started to harass me saying how much money do you have.. Once again i told him I'm not interested in the fish i just wanted to know the price.. Not happy with that he was already preparing the fish and putting it in the bag... I was walking out because he put me uncomfortable. Then he said why are u leaving and ur fish.. I got mad and told him i dont want your fish.. He doesn't know how to treat customers correctly it felt worse then being in a car dealership.... They lost a potential costumer.. read more
