I scheduled classic pedicure appointment for my mom. According to her, the specialist was very nice and friendly. However, she was dissatisfied with the service itself. Everything was done very briefly: the manicure, massage and scrub. Also, not the best nail polish application. The classic pedicure should include scrubbing with either a pumice stone or foot file as it was quoted. It wasn't done properly. The classic pedicure takes 35-45 min. I added sugar scrub as extra as well. She also wished the technician used a lotion afterwards. read more

I overheard them repeating "Russian manicure" and it sounded as though the only 2 nail technicians who were there did not know how to do it. This is the worst place ever. I told Sylvia to not use a drill she still drills my nail. Then she breaks my nail and told me my nails are too thin. I told her that's why I don't wanna drill. She said I have to because of the rubber but I've been doing this for years with another salon and never once was my nail drill. Drilling is the lazy way out. I also asked for short almond but she filed all my nail to the weird shape not one is where I need to I need to be and all are uneven. She also doesn't seal the edge with the polish. okay y'all. my nails are still recovering from an appointment I had in July and I feel the need to share my experience. booking was easy and when I came in, I was greeted in a friendly manner. the owner came over and handed me the color book, and since it was summer, it was Leo season, I wanted something bright and fun. I had booked a french gel manicure and I picked out a hot glittery pink for the French tip. the owner checked in and I showed her the color and she paused and says "...but you booked a French tip." I said yeah, and I'd like this color. I've never had anyone, in the decades I've been getting my nails done, react to me with such disdain. she led me to the nail tech's station and they had a long exchange before the owner walked off. the tech immediately grabbed my hands and began to remove the previous gel. she used not one but *three* different electric files to remove my gels. I was literally wincing and flinching by the time she was done. she barked at me about not knowing that I would have rubber base on my nails and I said I had no idea what she meant. she said "how could you not know???" and I said that the previous tech I saw at a different shop literally never mentioned it to me so I was not aware. she went on as she continued to file my nails down to pretty much nothing saying that she couldn't believe I had no idea and I felt really dumb. by the third file I could feel everything through my nail. meanwhile, she never once mentioned that she would be putting rubber base on my nails. she proceeded to clip my cuticles and she ravaged almost every single finger. I watched her put on the rubber base and then she carried on with the color application. I've never been so roughly handled in a salon in my life. as she went, she started to admire her work and at the end she told me she would be taking pictures. as she posed my hands, she said to me, verbatim, "I was really upset when I saw you wanted this color but it actually turned out really cute!" MA'AM. I have never, ever in my life had someone providing a service express that they were UPSET that I chose something that they had to offer. I reflected on the service and it really felt like she took out her anger on my nails the whole time. I could not believe that these words were being spoken to me. the one star speaks to the fact that they turned out cute. but I've included photos of the aftermath - there are CRATERS in my nails because of the three drills used on me. I've been documenting for the past few MONTHS how much damage control I've had to do. I have had to continuously cut down my nails every time they begin to grow because they are so damaged and weak. they have split into several layers, there are still indentations from the base of my nail that still hasn't grown out all the way. my nails have been peeling every which way and two are even lifting from the nail base. I suspect I won't be able to get another manicure until at least the new year which means that I will have spent the entire second half of this year trying to mend the damage done in 45 minutes. I don't care what gets said to me for posting this, I see other people have had similarly awful experiences so I know I'm not the only one and I'm literally never coming back here so whatever. you can come here but only if you fit very neatly into the boxes they expect you to, don't dare choose a color they don't like or look different than what makes them comfortable. update: in response to the follow-up from the owner left below, I was referring specifically to the previous review where you replied that the reviewer was "hellbent on ruining [your] reputation" and I have since removed that note. additionally, I waited the four months so that I could document the true extent of the damage over time, as evidenced in the numerous photos I posted taken between July and earlier this month. at the end of the service you asked me how I liked my nails and I said they looked great. there was no way for me to know the extent of the damage at that point so there was no way for me to report it, but also it's not uncommon for someone to feel timid to speak up about being dissatisfied after someone has literally told them that their choices for the service made them UPSET. lastly, it's clear exactly what went wrong and just because other people have reviewed you highly does not mean that I shared their experience. read more

The lot is so tiny, and just maneuvering in that lot can be annoying, but once you are in, just relax and enjoy a wonderful service! I also really love the trance music they have playing most of the time. There have been times when I have had multiple services done, so I am there awhile, and I get offered some champagne, so that is always fun too. But they never hesitate to give you water if you are thirsty. I have very sensitive nails, and each tech I have had is gentle, so I really appreciate that. This is my go-to spot to get my eyebrows + mani/pedi done. Then you can tip your tech via Venmo, which is great. I also love how big the space is -- it is definitely not a cramped salon. This is a reminder for the owner! For negative reviews, it's crucial to apologize for the poor experience, address concerns, and offer a resolution, and the owner did none of theses things. The owner tried to say I was unhappy because I didn't get a massage. Yes ever other nail salon we have gone to did a massage or at least put lotion on which your nail tech did neither until I brought it up. You are a horrible business person as you did not respond to many of the concerns. The nail tech could not understand anything I said when I asked a question she would only giggle and not respond. The nail tech did uneven coats on each foot. She put my feet in ice cold water. My nails were uneven lengths and my cousin took a photo but I am so done with you guys. So here is the information for you again since you as the owner also don't understand. I never said you were not nice and the nail tech was nice. I did not come to have polite conversation I came for a good nail experience which I did not and my cousin said her nail tech rubbed in the lotion but it definitely was not a massage. You gave my cousin a massage because you told her it was included and told me it was not. I will let her also leave you the 1 star review your business deserves. I did not asked for money back because that is not what the review was about it was to help you do better. Clearly you will not do better and I am glad I am warning other potential clients. We will never be back! I have been to many nail salons and so has my cousin and this was by far the worse experience! I will also mention you sprayed chemicals on her chair as she was sitting in it. Also the nail tech did not cut my cuticles, she only buffed it with the nail drill and you did not make me coffee, I do not drink coffee. The nail appointment was less than 30 minutes so saying you cannot include the short massage or add lotion or oil as that all nail salons do is not true it's because you are trying to save more money. A good business person would offer a massage for a charge if you don't want to include it like others. So again I did not mention everything in my previous review, but I can definitely give you her perspective as well and let her leave her own soon. read more

I recently moved into the area and I've been desperately searching for a new nail salon. I had high hopes for this place because of all the great reviews, but unfortunately they fell short -- and it's a little bit my fault too. Making an appt was a breeze. You get sent a link to submit payment/hold your appt. The process was easy, but the platform forces you to sign up for an account which I didn't love because that only means more spam emails and another company having my info. Their space is really big and seemed clean. The front desk girl was nice, but she looked like she just literally rolled out of bed with her sweatpants and a zipped up sweater. It made me chuckle a little. Overall my appt was okay. I had to remove my gels and I guess their only technique in doing so is by using the drill. Here's where it was my fault -- I should have told her my nails were too thin for the drill. I've been getting gels consistently for 7 years and the only way to have them removed without damaging my nails is manually with acetone. Totally my mistake for not speaking up and I'm paying for it now because my nail bed is so sensitive to the touch and 2 nails are breaking and peeling from the side. I can't even peel the plastic seal off a container because the pressure hurts my nail beds too much. I've been told that using the drill to remove gels is the lazy way to do it, so if this doesn't bother you or it won't affect your nail bed, you should be fine. I also noticed that they use a drill (dry - no soaking your hands in water to help make the skin softer and easier to remove) to cut my cuticle and around my nail. This was fine in the moment, but the next day, there was a tiny cut on my cuticle from drilling too high so it was swollen and sore for about 2 days. Finally... no massage. That bummed me out the most! In total, I paid $55+ tip for gel removal, bottom coat of clear gel polish, chrome powder "design," no clear gel top coat (I always thought gels needed a top coat?) and no massage. My nails do look pretty, but it was definitely too expensive for what it was. Lastly, because you submit payment online, my credit card was on file upon checking out. This was a little unsettling because I don't remember selecting an option to save my card payment, but apparently it did because as soon as I got in the car, I logged onto the account and had to manually remove my card info. I'm glad I tried it, but I think this place seems to be best for full sets or gel x for the price. read more
