My appointment was at 12, and I arrived early enough to pick out a gel color before then. Someone came to get me and showed me which chair to sit in, mentioning that Sydney would be right over to start my services. I sat in the chair, unsure whether I should put my feet in the water, so I didn't. Around 12:09, I went to the front desk and asked why I was still waiting past my appointment time. Nobody's time should be wasted or taken advantage of. As a first-time customer, I won't be returning mainly because the front desk lady couldn't explain why no one had come to update me that Sydney was running behind with another client. I didn't expect Sydney to come tell me herself, because she was already running behind. Sydney has the best personality, and she was very gentle during my pedi. Thank you again, Sydney! Also, walking into such a posh-looking spa shouldn't make you cringe when you sit down on their dirty couch. When I indulge in luxury, I want to feel valued, not like just a number to be placed into a pedi seat and left waiting without anyone being courteous enough to give me an update.

It makes it so much easier to see how a color will actually look. My nails turned out gorgeous thanks to George and Teresa. My only real frustration is the booking process. You can only make appointments over the phone, and while I was able to schedule once via messaging, my later messages there were never responded to. It's a small thing, but it does make it less accessible or convenient to book for people with accessibility limitations, and that's the only thing that has stopped me from returning. Still, the staff I interacted with were friendly and skilled, and the results were beautiful. I would be back if there were more flexible ways to book for people with limitations.

My mom got a mani and pedi with gel on hands and regular nail polish on her feet. My sister got gel X on her hands with designs. Easily close to 300 dollars spent with tip. My nail got chipped same day, very poorly done as well. My mom's came out poorly done. But my sisters ~100 dollar nails is what took that cake. She had been to another nail salon near by, when she had done it there, it had lasted her a month and the only reason it came off is because she bit it off her finger. Here at "Pristine Nails", the next day one had fallen off, the next another came off and the following the 3rd nail. I understand that returns in this line of work is sticky, but I also understand that if you ask for a price, the decency is to honor it with your product and services. Spending a hundred dollars on nails is absurd, but if the quality is there, then do it. But this was the equivalency of buying a knock off iPhone and paying full price.
