I had an amazing experience here! Tom did my GelX extensions and he was incredibly kind and patient from start to finish. I came in after a long day of work, pretty quiet and tired, and he was so respectful and let me just relax while he worked. He recommended GelX since I didn't want acrylic, and I'm so glad he did they came out perfect. I changed my mind about the color in the middle of the service and he didn't rush or judge me at all. I asked for an almond shape and he got it exactly right. As someone who gets their nails done regularly, these are easily in my top 5 sets ever. I'm only in town for business, otherwise this would be my new regular spot. But when I come back to Kansas, I'll definitely be asking for Tom again! Highly recommend! read more

Everyone is really nice and it's clean. I enjoyed my pedicure but the same day half of the polish came off of one nail and so I had to come back in couple days since they are closed Mondays. I had to rush the day before my vacation. My gel nails were the worst part. The polish was all over the sides of my fingers and on my cuticles. I had to point out so many areas that were that way. I communicated kindly about what needed done.They ended up taking $10 off of that for the trouble without me asking. Even with the discount with tip I paid $100 for a pedicure that chipped that day while I was wearing sandals all day, and a terrible gel that I could have done better myself. She kept mentioning next time I come back they will do a design but no thanks. I'll do my own or find somewhere else. The time and hassle of coming back was enough for me.edit- so three days after my appt I have little cuts in my gel nails which can only happen because it wasn't done correctly. They do an amazing job, and make sure to ask you each step of the way if you like it and if not, they don't make a fuss or give you a dirty look or act put off about it, they simply just take it off and change it. I have really enjoyed getting my nails done here. The staff is really nice and does a great job.

I usually don't post negative reviews, and honestly I didn't notice how rough the nails looked until I got home, so I was just going to deal with it. But my mom saw my nails and pedicure and urged me to share my experience. My Gel X manicure felt rushed and the polish ended up looking uneven and bumpy. The shaping and length looked good, but the polish is just messy and one of my nails has even started lifting. They look alright from a distance, but up close they do not look professionally done. The pedicure looked nice, but I ended up with scratches on my foot, which is painful and concerning. I've included some pictures of my manicure and the scratches on my foot from the pedicure (taken right after I got home from the salon). I want to note that the tech was very kind and I understand salons can get busy, but the quality just wasn't there during my visit. When I spend $130 (tip included), I would expect a bit more attention to detail. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place based on my experience. read more

I usually never have had issues with ritz nails but I had a 3:00 o'clock appointment and wasn't seen until 3:30. They had people in the back eating and chatting while some people were working. It wasn't super busy, they had a couple of people getting pedicures and a few others getting manicures. Once they got me in a chair one girl got me started with soaking off my current set then a guy switches places with her and takes over. He would keep tugging my arms and telling me to sit still when I'm not even moving, when clipping my natural nails he would clip my skin, and when I would rub my hands and stretch my fingers before he put polish on because of how rough he was and how my fingers felt out of sorts because of the extreme twisting of my fingers. He acted ticked off and gave me a lecture on why I shouldn't do that. Even though my fingers were in discomfort. And I got short pink acrylic nails that were in an almond shape with white polkadots and it ended up being $76!!!!! Before tip... whenever I was done, he never got off product off my skin and didn't received any lotion with a quick massage. I left the store with product all over my hands, even after I tried to brush my hands off when he told me not to. The nails ended up turning out fine but with the service it definitely wasn't $76 worth ($91.31). I left the salon around 5:30. I still tipped him 20% because I know times are hard right now but at least take your time and do a good job so you can still receive future business with happy customers. read more

They often checked to see how was feeling. the pedicure and massage were well done and much needed! the shop is pretty busy and popular from what I've seen so the workers and leadership must be good. it might be hard to get a walk-in appointment so I was schedule early. Painful and messy! My nail tech was very hasty and aggressive with the cuticle cleanup process at the beginning of the manicure. She was very harsh with the cuticle clippers and clipped me so hard that my finger started bleeding. Even after clipping me, she was still rough on my other hand, and I had to ask her to be gentler. The rest of the manicure was overall messy. I had to ask my nail tech to fix a few of my nails for bumps and color patchiness. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE, They couldn't do anything my girlfriend requested, My girlfriend was completely respectful and patience with the nail techs, after a while the nail techs were talking Shit in their language, my girlfriend could tell base on body language and facial expressions, The techs were not professional at all, will never come here again. Also saw bugs crawling on the floor. Nothing was forced, she went from base coat to regular polish, that's one change. Like I said your techs were not professional, saying unneeded things like " when I go to the nail salon I know what I want" she never apologized about anything and never mentioned anything about a bad day.
