The only reason I am not giving this salon one star is because IF you are able to ACTUALLY get your service done it will be amazing. I've been coming here since 2014 so writing this isn't fun but it's time they do better. I have been going to WI for over a year and her work.is great. If you can get by her off-putting attitude sometimes because I know she's overwhelmed in there. However, the scheduling at this place in the last year has been DEPLORABLE. I have a standing appointment for the same service every time I come yet everytime I go I'm being told I'm there for a shorter service or minus one of my services altogether. What's worse is that I have been made to wait at least 15 minutes every single time I have had an appointment and STILL they try to bully into shorter services. It has become very disorganized and I only get this one day to relax and I'm always annoyed when I leave. Again the work is impeccable if you're able to get in the seat you booked 3 weeks ago but im honestly done. I'm not in the habit of leaving bad reviews but from what I'm seeing in the reviews here, not the only one dealing with the scheduling disaster at this place. read more

This place definitely knows their nail art, however their quality is terrible. My daughter has had acrylics for 2 years and we have never had an issue, but this time chunks of the acrylic just keep falling off. Her nails were done Saturday at 5:30pm, and within 72 hours she had broken pieces of 4 nails. Some had chunks if acrylic falling and one the acrylic is intact however the nail backing broke. I am not even sure how this all happened. When i called they were very little help. Told me I could fix them if I came in before Saturday, however they have no appointments available before then. So basically we already spent almost 2 hours of our time, and will spend another 2 hours waiting around if we are a walk in. read more

Unprofessional and disorganized. Tried to make an appointment a month ago with my mom. I made it TWO weeks in advance. The salon then calls me the day before my appointment to tell us the technician was going on vacation and could no longer see us the next day. Fast forward to today. I made an appointment a few days ago & called the salon yesterday to confirm and we were all set. I drove 30 minutes and they didn't have the appointment. If you are looking for a reputable nail salon, you may want to STAY AWAY from the Nail Lounge in Miramar FL. I have been going to the Nail Lounge before the pandemic. Had a few issues here and there but nothing that bothered me too much, so I simply let them slide. Unfortunately that changed on Aug 2, 2023. I spent about $70 for a dip manicure for myself; spending over $200 with them that day (for the dip, a gel pedi, and gel mani and pedi for my 12 yr old daughter- her gel is also already coming off). I believe my nail tech is good but for some reason my ombré dip that day was defective. It felt very thin and fragile from day 1, and by day 2, while I was already out of the country on vacation, began to crack in several different places, on several nails. This in turn caused some of the nails to break. Others I had to cut to prevent injury. I was on vacation for a family milestone event with horrible messed up nails. I reached out to the Nail Lounge at the end of my 1 week vacation, with a kind note and pictures with dates ranging from 2 or 3 DAYS after my service, showing the issue of the cracked dip. I was sure the Nail Lounge would make it right as any other reputable establishment would, but to my surprise, they refused and instead, offered me 20 % discount "as a courtesy" on my next service. The manager also refused to speak with me directly. I politely declined and repeatedly asked them to do the right thing, ie., provide a redo or a full refund for that particular service. They refused, saying that was not in line with their policy. Be prepared to be insulted and suffer the loss if something doesn't go well at your next appointment. Why risk it and support an establishment that is unethical and unfair, and clearly has no regard for its customers. There are too many other nail salons out there to accept this level of disrespect from the Nail Lounge. I hate blasting businesses online, but after 15 text messages and no resolution, I would like to give others a heads up. If I could give zero stars, I would. read more

Horrible service and experience. Scheduled an appointment over the phone for 5:15. As I'm parking my car at 5:20 outside the establishment I get a no show email. I walk in and ask why that was and they say there's a 5 minute grace period?? If so, why was that not communicated to me when scheduling. Secondly, the receptionist rolled her eyes at me and was basically like "oops sorry". Would never recommend anyone to this establishment. I understand not having enough time to service me. But, if a policy is in place it should be communicated while scheduling as nothing was told to me (which I'll attach screenshots of) and lying saying that you waited past the 5 minute grace period when I got an email notification at 5:21of being marked as a no show (which I'll attach a screenshot of) is another thing. I recently decided to go back after trying several other salons in the area. I noticed they seem to do some great nail designs, and wanted to give it a try. I went in for something "4th of july" themed and pulled a pic from Pinterest to show them. I did make an appointment. This place does seem to always have a ton of people in it. Everything was a good experience. I noticed that it had been renovated, since last time I was there and it looks nice and open. I was very happy w my nails and got tons of compliments on there. The only drawback is that it's a little pricey compared to other like nail spots. I would definitely go back especially if I want a design, but for a more simple manicure, probably, but not always. read more

i've always seen this location on instagram. all the designs had my attention. i finally attended, being my first time here i loved it! young lady name Angela did such a great job. she was super patient on helping me pick a color like the picture i was showing, she showed me every color and made sure i got something i wanted. i showed her the design and all and she KILLED IT! the only thing that through me off was you get charged extra for picking an OPI color. not sure on why? because it's an option and it's nothing out this world in my opinion. but other than that i loved how my nails came out! I really needed my nails done so I chose this place because it had good reviews. The receptionist was super friendly and I really like the setup but the nail technician was rude. I had a gel mani and regular pedi. After a week, I noticed my nails were getting weaker I do my nails with gel all the time so I know it can be done so that they don't weaken.. UPDATE I called the salon to see if I can go back to get my nails fixed after I got back from my trip (the manager made me the offer for the next day but I was going out of town). The manager set me up with an appointment the same day. Originally, I had no intentions on returning but since one nail broke and the gel polish on my feet was getting worse, I didn't want to spend money to redo everything. The nail tech I got this time did a great job. She removed my nails and the gel polish from my feet as well then redid everything. I am very happy with my nails now. I wish my hands and feet were done this way the first time I went. So normally I'm not the type to sit around and write a bad review but the fact that I have to keep looking at my hands like this makes me feel like I need to. I was actually really excited to come to this salon. I had made my appt a week in advance and after reading the reviews and seeing the pictures I thought I would leave the salon a lot happier then I did. The morning of my appt they called me and told me that the person who was supposed to do my nails had called out sick. So they scheduled me with someone else... I figured it wouldn't be a problem. When I arrived I was attended immediately which was amazing but i felt like my nail tech was rushed. I got a fill in and he drilled over my skin a few times which was uncomfortable. Some of my nails come out slanted (not square how I wanted) and then my gel polish looks like a mess. You can tell the clear coat wasn't applied until the end, some nails weren't painted entirely, and the edges of some nails weren't painted and others were. It looks like I attempted to do my own gel polish at home. I hate being that person who is constantly complaining while getting their nails done and now I'm here at work looking at my nails regretting going to this salon and not saying anything. A friend referred me to this nail salon and all i can say is AMAZING! I came here a couple months back moving from VA to Miami i STRUGGLED to find a salon who specialized in acrylic. Lots of local places only do natural nails, well The Nail Lounge exceeds my expectations of acrylic. When you enter, you're greeted by a friendly and welcoming front desk associate. The lounge is spacious and clean, and most importantly smells amazing. The staff is so friendly and eager to make your experience one to remember. I've had Angela and Adam work on my nails and they are both amazing. I do highly suggest to make an appointment, ESPECIALLY on the weekends. A walk in can take up to 3 hours. You can book on their website and it's super easy! Another sweet thing is that they use the plastic covers on their pedicure bowls so it lets me know that they are definitely sanitary! Also, i drive all the way from Miami Beach to Mirimar for this salon, that's a 40 min drive. Let's just say it's worth it! read more

I first walked in to the nail lounge on a Friday night at 6:30. This was just a few minutes before they closed, but Na was able to fit me in and give me a pedicure. Although the pedicure was quick, I loved how pretty my toes came out. I highly recommend Na as a nail tech! The next day I came back in for an acrylic full set without an appointment, so I ended up waiting for 90 minutes. It was well worth the wait as Ty was very careful while he did my nails and they came out exactly how I wanted them. I showed him a picture of the style I wanted, and I was so happy that that's what he gave me. I also highly recommend Ty! I have been back 2 more times, but having learned my lesson - with an apppointment only! When you make an appointment you get to skip the wait line and they are always on time. I prefer this much better as I am in and out in no time! You can make am appointment through Yelp, but if you want someone specific then do it through their website. I now get my nails done with Long who is an expert in applying acrylics and nail designs. He is also extremely pleasant to talk with - a trend I noticed in this salon is superb customer service. I highly recommend Long as well! The salon is very spacious and always busy. The pedicure chairs are not massage chairs, which is the only thing that I do not like. If you can, I recommend upgrading to the deluxe pedicure for $10 more. It includes a foot mask and a foot massage that almost makes up for not being able to receive a back massage. Overall I am extremely happy with The Nail Lounge. Every nail tech is up to date with the latest tends, I don't have to worry about a language barrier, they are fast and efficient, and they aim to please their customers. I've come here for the last few years and have had so so experiences and the front desk receptionist is absolutely repugnant and has a bad attitude, but I digress. I recently started wearing a acrylics again and noticed they were lifting even though I was going faithfully. Last week I booked a fill and it was booked incorrectly so my nail tech had to rush. That led to nails lifting and water getting caught underneath my nails which ofcourse leads to a fungus. I call and they say come in to soak off the remainder of my nails - so guess what they had the audacity to charge me for the soak off. For a fungus they caused - I'm disgusted and I will not be returning and I suggest If you are in the pines area you don't bother. 0 stars would not recommend. I am open minded and never make an appointment and I dnt have an issue waiting. They are super sweet and won't rush you out.
