I went to this nail salon because my friend recommended it. I got a pedicure and an acrylic set. I wanted medium length coffin nails and was told they needed to be at smallest this length. Some of my nails are not even coffin shaped. The nail tech did not clean off nail polish that was on my skin. The only reason that this has 2 stars and not one is because I got the deluxe pedicure and it was very enjoyable. read more

This place is so overpriced it's ridiculous. I went in to have a polish change. I asked for the gel and it was $35 JUST FOR THE GEL POLISH. When I said that's crazy the lady said "well we're very popular here". I don't even know how when you're literally ripping people off. Worst Experience Ever, no idea why friends go here. Wasted 3 hours of our time today. Bailey asked for a color. The gal does her nails and AFTER they are completely done and Bailey says wait that isnt the color dip polish I asked for, the lady states "we couldn't do that color we didn't have enough powder" WHAT?! And no one said a word before they started? so their solution is take it all back off (and leave her nails undone and looking like a complete mess before her birthday party) or she could choose another color. WHAT?! Who tells a client AFTER their nails are done that they didn't have enough powder to do the color they wanted?! So of course she chose another color, she couldn't leave with her nails all jacked up. When I inquired about a discount or refund because of what happened Mary (owner I suppose) says "service already done, we fixed, no refund". Just before I heard John (I assume another owner) tell a client it has been very slow, business not good. Ya Think?! Oh and glue all over her hands, so sloppy. I have never ever been disrespected by a business before , like I have with them. Have been getting gel polish for 3 years from them. The next day the polish fell off ( and it usually lasts a month or two. ) . I went back and they said you should have called immediately,,, I did and they told me to come in the following day, which I did. They yelled at me and said I" this is not gel! She put a solution on that told them it WAS gel. Then they yelled at me again. I said I have been coming here for three years and you don't remember me coming in 4 days ago. They said they didn't know who I was. They said I came in last month ,,, even though it's was only 4 days. Next they said I had to pay 58 dollars to have my nails redone. I said, just paint the 2 that fell off prematurely! They kept changing their story by the minute. They asked for a receipt, and now wanted to charge me 28 dollars. I demanded they paint the 2 nails and they called the police on me. Nice way to keep a customer. I will Never return there and and neither will my husband or anyone else I can tell my story to. It could have been such a quick fix, maybe 5 minutes, but they wanted to cause a scene and argue with me. Never again read more

Brought my fiancé here on her birthday,the was no wait and plenty of people working making it a quick and un painful process. The staff is friendly and takes good care of you,prices are reasonable like other places the prices are about the same. The only complaint I had was the strong smell of nail polish when You walk in,it hits you fast and hard and caused me to have a headache. Reasonable prices,good staff and at a location that is easy to find of Lake Mary blvd in Sanford right were Albertsons use to be. They offer more then just pedicures also you can do all kinds of girly things like get your eye brows done or your nails done. Visiting from out of town , decided to give this spot a try based on the reviews . Called and made an appointment for 3 pedicures and a fill . They got us right in when we arrived no wait . Staff was friendly and attentive . One of the nails on the fill was a little short and they fixed it as soon as it was pointed out. Only thing that was lacking was a hot towel on the legs after the lotion on the pedicure . Over all great experience would go back again. read more

Not twist in my chair while one person does my hands and another does my feet! Not good! All employees are very sweet! This was my third time being there . The first time I went I got gel on my nails and they were all chipped the next day. So ended up going back the very next day to get them fixed and decided to do acrylic instead wasn't even close to the two weeks and the acrylic was lifted and I went today to give them one last try and this definitely back my last one. Today was the last straw I made an appointment and during the whole time they were all rush my design came out Crooked some of nail was painted completely. I even mention why did I even make an appointment if they just going to be rushing. I didn't fight or argue with anyone I left in peace and decided to provided feedback on the experience what a waste of $60 out of my pocket ! Please go look for another place I did not write this with just a one time experience I went back three times I think this was more then enough of an opportunity. I have been looking for a nail salon for two years closer to where I live. I used to drive 40 minutes to get my nails done with nice nail designs. I was very impressed when I came to this nail salon. This was the only nail salon that I have ever been to that had a FULL STAFF ready as soon as the doors opened. I arrived at 9:30 am and was out by 10:30 am. The nail tech was wonderful and did a wonderful job on my nails. The salon was nice and clean and the staff was wonderful as well. I am happy with Nailz Spa and I will be returning. The interior is extremely clean and it stays pretty busy. I had to wait a little while for one of the few women who do acrylics but I didn't mind that. However, I hate rushing with nails and that's what my tech did. She was switching between customers, which is fine, but my nails look rushed. So I'm from the area, but I now live out of town. I came here because it had good reviews and my old place is owned by new people. I figured I might as well try a new spot. I thought $30 for French shellac mani sounded pretty good. I found out it was too good to be true. The people were very friendly and seemed to have a good rapport with customers and the nails LOOK good. However, when I get shellac done it usually last two weeks. My thumb nail started to chip the very next day. Usually I would have gone in to get it fixed but I was leaving town. It's a week later and half of my thumb polish has chipped off. My next visit home I will probably shell out more somewhere else where the shellac actually lasts. read more

This place used to be great, it really did, but sadly, it's declined in both quality of service and customer service. Their acrylic products must not be high quality anymore, because I've noticed many cracks and lifting of my nails. Don't bother making an appointment because it means nothing at this place. If they're busy during the time of your "appointment" you will still wait 30 minutes or more. Oh, and once you're finally seated and getting your nails done, don't be surprised if your technician has to get up 3 or 4 times for 10 minutes each time to wax someone's eyebrows. Obviously, most of us don't have much time to waste, and I hate that I've had to wait so many times at this place. It shouldn't take 2 hours for a pedicure and fill. Lastly, they will up charge you for everything! Have your nails grown out since your last visit? Well, duh, of course they have, which is why you're there getting a fill! Be prepared to pay extra for a "cut down" amongst other hidden charges. It's really sad that this place has gone down hill, because it used to be my go-to nail place, but I'm going to go elsewhere. read more
