I'm so very disappointed and actually shocked at what just happened. Though I've enjoyed coming here before, the man doing my pedicure dug in so deep next to my nail that I shouted in pain and was fighting back tears. It continued to be sooo painful I could hardly breathe. They came over but bc they couldn't see anything and I wasn't bleeding, at first they didn't react much. But I was still in so much pain, they came back at gave me some ice that I put on my toe for almost 30 minutes. The owner came over and another worker assured me she'd "make it right". I fully expected to have my pedicure comped and maybe even a coupon for another one free - this is definitely what I would have done, as a small business owner, for my client. It felt absurd to me to pay for an experience that was so so painful and stressful - and still hurts! But nope - they only gave me a 10% discount. Said they couldn't do more bc they are a small business. I explained exactly what I just said above. I told them I'd love to come back (but obviously never have that man work on me), but didn't feel I could if they didn't show me the care and concern to give me even half off. Nope. They stuck to the 10%, so, they've now lost what would have been a loyal customer - with lots of friends I would have recommended, and hopefully now others will also be warned! I'm so very disappointed in how they handled this. How companies respond when things go wrong could either create even more loyalty, or lose the customer altogether. Do better. read more

My mother and I typically go elsewhere. However, we were running short on time and needed something local. We looked at the reviews and saw that they were decent and decided to give this place a try. From the beginning, it was a very horrible experience, the young nail tech in the front was extremely unprofessional and very cocky with her attitude. She clearly doesn't know what it means to be in the service industry. My mother went to go get her nails done, and the young woman took her. However, when my mother told her what she wanted done with her nails, she did what she wanted. And my mother told her that she wanted long nails. Instead of starting over AS she should have, she literally just glued on the tip of the nails that she cut off in such a hurry and told my mother to her FACE she can't believe this is taking so long. She has other clients coming in!!! This is absolutely disgusting and this was a gift for my mother and that is not how you treat paying customers or anyone for that matter. My mother told her if she had a problem taking her from the beginning & not finishing what she started then she has no problem going elsewhere!Then the lady seemed to calm down And called someone else to take her other client. we were planning to do ALOT MORE there however with the service and the attitude throughout the entire entire experience, WE will never NEVER BE RETURNING. I had no idea what my mother had experienced prior to giving her a nice tip. You have no idea what people are going through and taking a day for self-care and self-love is meant to be peaceful not stressful and disrespectful. Being disrespected is unacceptable. I hope she reads this comment and changes her attitude. It is very VERY bad for business. (I Believe She was the storefront manager) To add, she also was responsible for putting pearl decorations on my French tip pedicure. Not only was she extremely rough when handling my feet but again had an attitude and not client and service oriented. Truly felt like getting up and walking away. I feel bad writing this review as there was an older woman there that did such a great job with my pedicure. I would give a 0 if I can. I have been coming here since January and had experienced bad service since the beginning. The first time I showed up with an appointment, the nail tech I made an appointment with refused to provide the service and they had to call somebody in who did a good job actually and I wrote it off as probably a one off experience but this has been a regular issue. Whether I make an appointment or not does not seem to matter at all. Brought my husband as a birthday present and he had to wait 30 mins for his pedicure. Seems to be a pattern with brown people, I def see some people walk right in and get great service right away. Today I came for my appointment and they told me the technicians I had appointment with is doing someone else' nails so I have to wait. After waiting 20 mins they had me do pedicure first with a new tech who was trying but clearly not experienced. They clearly double booked the technician. Then they had me do the longest pedicure of my life until the technician I was booked with was done with the other client. The technicians are good but the most horrible service is not worth it at all. I am a creature of habit and uaually do not switch places unless I have had enough but definitely not coming back here again. read more

It's been years since I treated myself to a pedicure and I absolutely loved Luxury Nail Spa! Everyone is so friendly and they do a great job. The facility is super clean and large enough to host many people at once if you were to book them for a bridal party or birthday. Because it's been a long time,I decided to get the signature lavender infused pedicure, which is a little more money. Honestly I don't know if it's really worth it and the nail tech seamed like she was confused on what to do for this one, however whatever she did felt Amazing!!! This is my go to spot for pedicures. As the name suggests, the inside of the location has a luxurious look and feel. You walk in and see the selection of nail polish to the right. The manicure stations are at the front while the pedicure stations are toward the back. The massage chairs are quite nice and comfy. They have a variety of pedicures to choose from. I usually go for the basic and add the callous removal. This last time I went, I like how the nail technician took time to remove my callouses on both feet. She suggested the parrafin wax treatment next time as that helps to keep the feet softer longer. I was also offered water before the pedicure began. The only reason why I gave this place 4 stars and not 5 is because I have been charged incorrectly a couple of times. This time I was charged $33 instead of $31. It was supposed to be $26 for the basic pedicure and $5 for the callous removal. I didn't say anything as hoping it was an innocent mistake. Let's see how it is next time read more

A friend whose nails always look stellar recommended Tammy or Samantha at this salon for a pedi. I called and booked a pedi with Samantha. After I got there, had chosen my color, and been seated, I was approached by the front desk person, who asked me who recommended Samantha for a pedi. I responded, then he asked If someone else could do my pedi 'because Samantha doesn't do pedis'. Ooookay. Of course I said yes. Rose came to do my pedi and she was fine until she started painting, after which she began expressing frustration with huffs of disgust until I asked if she was okay. She responded that the polish was too thick (it was their polish). I said, "I have another color here, should we switch?" She responded irritably, "NO, I've already painted one foot!" (It was the first coat on the first foot. Come on, Rose.) In the end, I got a subpar pedicure - there was quite a bit of polish on the skin on either side of both big toenails. I'll try them once more but will make sure Rose is not my tech. read more

I moved to Lake Mary 2 years ago and finally after Covid slowed I wanted to start getting my nails done. I have been to 3 other salons in the area and my nails were okay but felt bulky. I came across this nail salon by accident and glad I did! Duke was my mail tech. He saw my nails, asked if I liked them thick and I said no, I need them short and not so thick. I type all day and use my hands a lot. He recommended dipping my nails. I had no clue what that was, but agreed. I absolutely love the way he did my nails. It almost feels like I don't have them on. I am new to the area and I am beyond pleased with Po for my nails and pedicure. For my eyebrows, Tiffany was amazing.

I went to this salon for a few months to have my nails done. I usually walked away with a color different than I wanted going in but generally happy with the quality of my new nails. I'm not sure why but it was always very hard to get exactly what I wanted. I like acrylic powder but sometimes I would get gel? It was confusing and I found the technicians would be very pushy about what I should have done. One time I had a gel and it bubbled and was oozing wet polish two hours after I got home. I had to pay for it to be fixed. I always left with very sore fingers for a whole day after due to very rough drilling and occasionally getting cuts as well. (Cuticle, one time the drill touched my hand while still running at a high speed.) *side note I never asked for one tech, I got a different one every time.* The last time I went, the tech used a broken credit card to break my old nails off. Very rough and uncomfortable, and unprofessional. On the plus side they are very good at shaping, getting a smooth and low profile nail, and it always lasted weeks on end with the exception of the one that bubbled. Also pretty pricey. I always dropped $55/60 every time, even if just for a refill. Unfortunately I will stop coming to Luxury as I have found a salon close by that is much gentler and accommodating to what I want. I hope this review helps anyone looking for a new salon. read more

I would never return for any services here. I wasted 2 and a half hours to walk out paying $122 for a service that wasn't what I asked for. I wanted pink and white pedicure and pink and white dip nails. That should be a pretty easy request at a nail salon. I had to get the owner Tiffany to try and correct the problem but still walked out unhappy and they didn't seem to care. At the end of the day I have 2 different pinks on toes and hands and the white lines on hands are all different length, don't waste your time. read more

A slightly scarring experience. While I got an appointment and was seated right away, my nail tech glazed over my concern about my nail which had a vertical split. She was very rough with every tool and I ended up having multiple bleeding nail beds. When she realized she didn't shape my nail correctly after the 2nd layer of dip, she used HER nail to poke, push, and bend my nail down. It was so painful and she laughed while saying, "sorry." My tech couldn't do the simple design I requested so another tech stepped in to do it. The pedicure was my nightmare. I kept commenting calmly the water was very very hot and I couldn't keep my feet in it. The same tech laughed and kept putting my feet in the water and splashing my legs with the hot water. Water was splashing ALL over and she had to wipe off my shoes in the end because they were drenched. $150 for terror. read more

I called and received an appointment time 45 minutes after my call. I was greeted when I came in and waited less than five minutes for my pedicure. Hanna did a great job. She then did my manicure. She did an excellent job and was very efficient. We laughed a little and I was very comfortable. She said they had a new owner a couple of months ago. I called ahead to schedule an appointment for myself for a pedicure, and a "children's mani & pedi" for my daughter as stated on their menu for $38. They also have kids spa chairs, to which I was under the impression she would be using, since that is the only reason I chose this salon is because this is the only location I could find with pictures of kids chairs for pedicures. Upon entering, no one said hello or greeted us. There were about 6 employees. About 45 seconds of standing there, someone finally shouted from somewhere "pick a color!" When someone finally came to the desk, I informed her I had called for an appoint for my pedicure and my daughters "children's mani/pedi." She brought us back and sat us together, in the massage chairs. I saw the children's chair farther away, but they tried to sit her in a big chair and I asked them to use the children's chair for her because she would be uncomfortable trying to extend her legs in a grown up chair. Which again, is why I chose this place, as this was a treat for my daughter for an accomplishment she made. They said, "it's okay, we will give her pillow!" Exactly what I didn't want for her. While I sat down, she asked me what pedicure I wanted, so I chose one. Then while my daughters technician had stepped away, she asked me which one for her, #4? I said no, just the children's pedi/mani, but with gel. Why would I chose a $50 pedicure for my child when I booked a children's combo?! That was my third time referencing this Children's mani/pedi. When checking out, they charged me $37 for her manicure, $30 for her pedicure, AND $17 for her gel?!?! DO NOT ADVERTISE A CHILDREN'S MANI/PEDI for $38 if you are going to charge them separately!!! read more

Customer service lacking, they would not explain anything to me when I asked why they seemed to be doing things differently than any other salon I have been to. They really missed the boat, the day I went in there was my first day off in a month. Was ready to spend money and pamper myself. Probably could have upsold the heck out of me. I also always tip minimum twenty percent. Instead, I had to leave before they finished...they were making me that uncomfortable. That should give you an indication of how much attention they are paying to customers. Two stars due to COVID. read more
