I worked with Rose as the stylist and she made me feel so comfortable and so heard. Rose was so kind and allowed me to feel at ease being honest about what I did or did not like about each dress I tried on. I LOVED my experience at Merrime Bride & Soiree. The personalized appointment allowed me to feel cherished as a bride. My mom, who is a buyer of women's clothes for a shop in Eugene, and I were incredibly impressed with the selection, the quality of the dresses, and the affordable prices. I had such a hard decision to make when I tried on the dresses, but I narrowed it down to a beautiful lace gown. A few months later, we went back with my bridesmaids to find some dresses; their dresses were stunning and accentuated all the right features. With two daughters getting married in less that a year I have visited many bridal stores in many cities, including Portland, Salem and Bend. We have had a lot of lovely experiences but Merrime in Albany was hands down the best. Adrienne and her mother Debra make a lovely mother daughter team! This was the first shop that I ever went to to try on wedding dresses. Based on the previous reviews I thought it was going to be a great experience. However, it was awful. Deborah, the mother of the owner, was not welcoming at all. I even introduced myself with my name and she said "nice to meet you Natalie" and then called me another name. I was fine by this as I'm sure they see lots of brides but it was immediately after introducing myself and I felt like she didn't listen to me. Moving on, I was excited to pick and pull dresses to try on. But Deborah seemed as thought she did not want to be there which made me less enthusiastic and I felt like a burden my whole appointment. To me and my family it seemed as though she just wanted to make a sale and get out. I fell in love with a dress and wanted to try it on one last time which she did not seem thrilled about, as she was tightening the dress to fit me and clip me in, she ended up pinching my skin in the clip. I don't think she would do this on purpose and I get that it happens, no worries about that, but how she reacted made me feel less than. I told her my skin was being pinched and she ripped the clamp off and said "you're tougher than most" without apologizing which threw me off. I did find my dream dress, however with the service I will not be giving them my business for that dress. read more

Hello SERVICE! These ladies have got to be THE nicest in all of bridal dress shopping! I felt like VIP when I had the ENTIRE store to myself with my own personal stylist! Adrienne and her Mom sure know gowns! Not just bridal gown but accessories and dresses for the rest of your party and guests as well. I found the most gorgeous head pieces for my daughter and I as well as a perfect dress! I wasn't joking when I told Adrienne I wished I could buy more wedding dresses just to relive all the fun it was when we'd come into the shop!
