They put on a movie which I really enjoyed and gave me an extremely relaxing experience with massages on my feet AND hands (amazing). My gel-x manicure looks incredible (I've never used gel-x). Wonderful experience! I had both a manicure and a pedicure. My feet and toe nails were in very bad shape. Now they look beautiful. My fingernails also look very good. Annie was very kind and professional. I got gel nails on my toes and regular treatment for my hands. They made the skin of my arms, hands and feet feel so much better. Kathy and Annie provided the best mani pedi experience I've ever had. They gave me a lot of time and removed calluses did foot leg hand and arm massage. They did a hot wax and a hot stone massage. It included a wonderful skin treatment. I am now so relaxed. I know I will sleep like a baby tonight. This is the kind of service. We all need to relax. I'm going to treat myself regularly. Beyond the strangest experience at this place. It was 30 min after opening and it was empty. Sign on door says ring bell for service but the door was unlocked. I've gone here many times but no longer after last visit. The work done looks great BUT they use the same dip powder for every person. When you go in, you aren't told to wash your hands. I didn't know about the dip powder process but went with it. When she was dipping my fingers into a jar of powder then letting the powder fall back in to same jar I was surprised. I thought I might be being a bit much but when I left I read about dip powder. First line in article says... If they are using same powder jar on everyone then RUN out of there. Very unsanitary. I dropped in during a stay at the Embassy Suites next door to get a pedicure. I ended up getting a design on my big toes because I wanted to treat myself while on vacation. You could tell that the lady painting my toes took a lot of pride in her work. The end result was SO pretty. I admired them all the way back to my hotel room where I immediately put my regular shoes on for dinner. I promptly marched myself back down to the shop to ask them, rather sheepishly, to repair the damage that I stupidly caused myaelf. They were able to salvage the majority of the design, and it still looks awesome almost two weeks later. It was cute how the other ladies were so concerned about the flowers on my toes. If I lived in Portland, I'd definitely go back here for another pedicure. read more

My pedi was a little light so I went back the next day, they added a coat at no charge. Only complaint is I wish they had done more scrubbing to remove more skin on my feet.
