Stephanie and Janelle are both not only wonderful humans; they're both excellent estheticians (waxers). They have each done a fantastic job and made me comfortable every time I go to UWD. They've consistently done exactly what I've asked, leaving clean, even lines (never crooked!) and an even, balanced triangle (not lopsided!). Crooked lines and uneven shapes happen when waxers only look at their work from one side of the table. I don't write reviews often, but my experience here was less than good. I went in for a Brazilian but not for a full Brazilian (paid the price in full Still) there's so much broken and leftover hair that I had to go in myself and fix it. For $100 you would think that they would go above and beyond. They didn't put any serums on my backside, and they also didn't give me a sanitizing towel to wipe off my hands before opening the door (if you know you know). You'd think since I didn't get a big chunk of the full Brazilian done they'd be able to use the Wax to get other places like my inner thigh or the glutes. I won't be returning here. It's my second time and both weren't great. read more

Just as good as the NW location but it was nice having a parking lot. I also liked the can lights in the treatment room instead of fluorescent lights. Always like the wax here as it doesn't leave residue and I generally have no ingrown hairs They did have issues with their online booking but it was easy to call and get the slot I saw online. read more

First time getting brazilian waxing done and it went so well. The facility is clean, and my waxer was great! Booking an appointment was really easy and they also have a good faq page which I anxiously read through before the appointment. Psyche made sure that I was comfortable. And it really seemed like she knows what she's doing! I appreciated the fact that she didn't tell me when she was going to do the "spicy" zones because THEYYYY HURTTTTT. My amazing brow expert called it quits during covid and it has been quite the process of trying to find a replacement. Urban Wax has been one of the better ones I've tried. Have been to both the SE and NW locales and have liked estheticians at both. They, thankfully, understand that pencil thin brows are a no go and I find their wax gentle and non irritating. I wouldn't, however, recommend the brow tint. Its an unnecessary addition, as the tint is very transient and not worth the price. I have found an amazing brow pomade that seems to do the trick. Other than that I think Urban Wax does a pretty decent job and I've definitely been a repeat customer. read more

I have been going to Urban Waxx for years! I used to go to the Tanasbourne location but it fell to be too far away from my home and workplace. Now at the division location and I absolutely love it there. It's so quiet and serene. I usually always see Jevon because I have become to really enjoy her and the service she provides. She amazing at making sure that EVERYTHING is gone. I usually see her every 4-5 weeks for my Brazilian and I never leave with unwanted hair. I say everything and she get's everything. Jevon remembers our conversations and builds relationships with her clients which to me is extremely important to have good relationships. I don't think I'll ever go anywhere else and hope she doesn't leave anytime soon! read more

Wow, I thought I already had a five star experience and then I met Susan. Susan has changed my eyebrow game. I was hesitant about seeing someone new since my girl was not there the day I needed to go, but ummm hi Susan. Susan got every.single.hair. Normally I find myself tweezing my brows after my wax finding a hair or so that got missed which, didn't thrill me but like it's pretty normally I have lots of white and blonde eyebrow hairs, not this time. Also, Susan heard me out when I said my brow tint was too cool last time and fixed it to perfection I might add. I honestly didn't think I could ever say this, but my eyebrows are perfect. The perfect tint, shape and the wax was amazing. I didn't break out afterwards, honestly she's a real pro. I can't believe I haven't discovered her sooner, at this point I commit to Susan, I salute her and I obviously will come back to drink champagne and get waxed by specifically Susan.
