Unprofessional. Charged for services not needed. Charged for work that had to be redone because of their negligence.

My husband found this place because we moved to the area and needed a dentist closeby…read more I had a very disappointing experience at this dental office. From the start, it felt like they were pushing unnecessary treatment. I was told I needed a "deep cleaning," which is typically only recommended for patients with gum disease but my teeth and gums are healthy. The cleaning itself was done by a hygienist and it was extremely painful and caused bleeding. It felt overly aggressive, like my gums were being stabbed rather than properly cleaned. What made the experience worse was that the actual dentist barely saw me, literally just came in for a couple of seconds to say hello and then left. There was no proper evaluation or explanation. After the appointment, I was told that my teeth weren't even fully cleaned and that I would need to come back, be numbed, and finish the cleaning later. So essentially, I went through a painful experience and still didn't receive a proper cleaning. I was also left with a pretty sore and sensitive gum that is still recovering days later. To make things more concerning, they recommended the same deep cleaning to my husband, who also has healthy teeth. It honestly feels like this is being pushed on everyone regardless of actual need. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any treatment here!

Over the course of treatment, I went through Invisalign, professional whitening, and ultimately two veneers on my front teeth. What stood out to me throughout the entire process was the level of care, attention to detail, and professionalism from Dr. Geleris and his entire team. Cosmetic work is extremely personal, and they took the time to listen to what I wanted, work through the details with me, and make sure the final result looked natural rather than overdone. The entire staff was consistently welcoming, responsive, and professional at every appointment. I never felt rushed, and it was clear that everyone genuinely cared about getting the best possible result. I'm extremely happy with how everything came together. My teeth look dramatically better while still looking like my teeth, which was exactly what I wanted. I've attached before-and-after photos because I think the results speak for themselves. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Geleris and his team to anyone considering Invisalign or cosmetic dental work.

The word "perfectionist" has been used, but Dr. Patel also has that perfect mix of science, art (cosmetic), and intuition. Sometimes I cannot explain exactly what is bothering me with a tooth, yet she zeros in to describe and correct what I'm experiencing. Second, service. They are accommodating way beyond the extra yard. I travel quite a bit, and last month, I was halfway around the world, had no Internet, the only phone available was an old station-to-station (if you are not familiar with this, you must purchase a 500-rupees coupon [about $10], then place your call through an automated operator using two sets of secret codes, AND the call is disconnected at the 10-minute mark, plus certain phones will not connect at all, such as some cell phones); I could sometimes send and receive text. I left a voice message to make an appointment as soon as I arrived at SFO, but I could not receive any phone messages to confirm, so Sherri, one of the office managers, used her own "dime" and cell phone to text me. They set me up for my appointment as soon as I arrived back. And gave me another appointment just two weeks later as needed. Third, the hygienist are so busy because they are THAT good, so I make my appointments in advance by two; if I wait to make my appointments right after a cleaning, the calendar is full. Note: I will schedule with any of the hygienists as each is as good as the next, and I learn different things from each about dental care. I am so grateful to find Dr. Patel as my long-time dentist had just retired a little more than a year ago.

I vowed not to go back to them, but when I had a dental emergency arise, I called them in pain and desperation. They were now rude to me, and told me they didn't want my business because they thought I was coming back just for the pain, not to be a regular patient. That might or might not have been true; my decision about whether to return long term was going to be based on how they treated me this time. I sure learned the answer to that question. I'm not happy about having to find a new dentist on short notice while in pain, but I guess I was going to have to find a new one anyway.
