Delightful smoothie and acai bowl place! There's a little book with indoor seating, and one table outside. They've got a wall of local goods to browse through while you wait for your drink. I got the rose drink, and I thought it was quite tasty! I really liked the vibes - it seems like a place that emphasizes overall wellness and health.

I've been coming here since they first opened, and as a local health professional and foodie, I appreciate a great juice bar and smoothie spot. I don't know if the owner is difficult but I've noticed a high turnover among staff, which seems to be affecting quality. Not only did it take over 15 minutes to get my order because there was a single staff member but my last two $15 smoothies have been watery and missing the garnishes I've enjoyed for over a decade. I understand how challenging it is to run a small business, but loyal customers shouldn't have to bear the brunt of those struggles, after all we are the ones showing up to support.

The nectary is on a corner of Healdsburg Ave with plenty of street parking. I walked in on a rainy Sunday afternoon and it was very quiet. I ordered two of their Strawberry Nectar juice and two smoothies: The Matcha & the funky monkey. If you are looking for a healthy drinks and food, this place has got it all, from cold pressed juics, superfood smoothies, wellness shots, lattes, raw foods, acai bowls, mylks & nectars, etc. I really enjoyed my Matcha made in Heaven smoothie. I couldn't taste the matcha much, only strawberries and protein powder but it was sweet, full of good ingredients that makes you feel good instead of regretting it later. Like they say, food is medicine!

The Nectary has been one of my very favorite places in Sebastopol since they opened. I would frequently get juice or smoothies when they were in The Barlow and was disappointed when they moved as it's a less convenient location, but I kept going back as their juice is fresh and their bowls are refreshing. They are now under new ownership. The new staff members are kind and attentive. G Love is my favorite juice and it seems like they have changed the formula. I am hoping they stick to some of the original recipes that we love and keep their raw chocolate treats on hand. Time will tell!

Since it was a warm day, I was looking for a juicery for a healthier option to cool off. Originally with my heart set on the cold press juice especially the Watermelon Blissness. However, upon entering we found that they were already pre-pressed and bottled in the fridge for $10 each and I think $2 for the bottle deposit. Since we aren't from the area, short of drinking it and returning the bottle on the spot, I really did not need another $2 bottle for salad dressings. So changing direction, for slightly lower prices, we opted to try their made to order smoothies instead. The Chai Babanada had dates, honey, almond milk, and rooibos herbal blue lotus chai. Love the creaminess of this smoothie and the dates and bananas worked well together. The Pollinator had dragonfruit, pineapple, mango, ginger, bee pollen, and coconut water. A little too muddled where it's hard to taste the fruits itself but did enjoy the bee pollen topper.

Matcha. A small for... wait for it... SEVEN DOLLARS.

I don't wanna judge this place too harshly given that I've only tried two things. This feedback is based solely on those items. Haven't tried the smoothies yet and they may be fantastic as other reviewers are saying. I picked the Nectary as a spot to try for drinks with my mom and aunt and after checking out their menu, I had high hopes. I wanted to try one of their smoothies but upon arriving, the only employee working informed us that someone had put in a large order so it would be around half an hour before she could make us anything with the blenders. My mom wanted a fresh juice and was pretty disappointed to find that they'd all been premade already and were sitting in the fridge separating, with a price tag of $12 each! Now I know the rent in the Barlow has got to be sky high, but we make our own juices at home regularly and A) they're supposed to be drunk shortly after juicing so as to receive the full health benefits and B) they simply should not cost that much, even if being made on the spot. My mom and aunt decided to split a green juice, the Kalalau, which contains romaine, kale, apples, parsley, and a few other things. You could tell by their faces that it tasted terrible and I felt kinda bad for having picked this place out. They didn't even finish it. Upon tasting it myself, can confirm that it is not a pleasant blend. For myself, I settled on a matcha latte which was a mistake. I should have just waited for the blenders to be free and gotten a $12 smoothie because not only was this thing very small for $7, but it tasted like a wheatgrass shot--gritty, with no sweetness whatsoever. I'd asked for extra honey but could not detect any sweetener at all. I added a splenda packet--still bitter--so I had to take it back and ask for honey. Was given a little more, which made it palatable, but still nowhere near sweet enough for my taste and certainly not enjoyable. I might someday go back and try a smoothie, but eh... from what I've tasted so far I'm super baffled by all the rave reviews.

Completely dig it: *juices galore, yes it's pre bottled, but it's FRESH, check the dates at the top of the caps, I bought a centrifugal juicer years ago and it tastes THE same! Wish I had the time to use it more often *the raw desserts are decadent and super satisfying, check the pie and the caramel mocha bite *super green juices: green dragon (seasonal) and hardcore green *sea-kraut *they carry Sun Potion *cute gear, tanks, shirts and even scarves *the Shilajit wellness shots were refreshing *check the golden mylk - super creamy and sweetened perfectly There is a $1 deposit for each of the bottles, refundable if you return the bottle. The price of the juices are $9. Completely worth the prices they charge. Organic and all made by hand. The people who work there are warm and willing to work with their customer. Love love! Can't wait till I get to stock up again.

Incredible Treats by Ping's Raw Foods!…read more I just had to share my experience with Ping's Raw Foods because, honestly, their desserts are next-level! I've been trying to eat healthier, but I still crave something sweet, and Ping's has been a total game-changer for me. First of all, the ice cream is unbelievable. I was so impressed by how creamy and rich it is, especially considering it's all raw and made with natural ingredients. I tried the berry and the date flavor, and both were out of this world--so full of flavor and perfectly sweetened! The granola is another thing I can't get enough of. It's crunchy, flavorful, and just sweet enough without being overwhelming. I love enjoying it every morning with some yogurt, and it's the perfect way to start the day. I also ordered one of the cakes, and wow, it did not disappoint! Incredibly wonderful and full of flavor. I've had vegan raw cakes before, but this was hands down the best I've ever had. And the dessert squares--they're like little bites of heaven! I love having one (or two) after dinner. They're perfectly balanced with just the right mix of textures and flavors, and they totally hit the spot when I need a sweet fix. Honestly, everything I've tried from Ping's Raw Foods has exceeded my expectations. I can't believe how amazing healthy desserts can taste! If you're looking for guilt-free indulgence, these desserts are an absolute must. And..I just found out that Ping's Raw Foods is making some exciting changes!! If you're a fan of their incredible vegan ice cream, granola, cakes, and dessert squares like I am, you'll want to hear this. They're switching things up and moving from wholesale to retail orders now! What does that mean for us? Well, no more waiting for your favorite treats to hit the shelves in stores--you can now order directly from them and pick up your goodies at three different locations on select days. I'm really excited because it means you can get those fresh, raw, and healthy desserts you love on your own schedule. No more hunting down stock in stores or worrying if they've sold out--just place an order and pick it up when it's convenient for you. I don't have all the details yet, but I'm definitely keeping my eye out for more info. If you haven't tried their stuff yet, now's the perfect time to give it a go!

A living, breathing celebration of history, legacy, and indigenous roots, Peña Pachamama stands tall as a beacon calling people -- especially Native and South American communities -- back to their heritage. From the moment you enter, you're enveloped in vibrant color and rhythm. The ambience is electric yet sacred, filled with intention and spirit. The menu, mostly vegan and raw, feels like an extension of the earth -- wholesome, healing, and deeply rooted in Pachamama herself. But the soul of Peña Pachamama lies in its performances. Dancers move with raw emotion, blending the passion of tango and flamenco with indigenous rhythms. You're not just watching -- you're part of it. The performers often invite the audience to join, blurring the line between spectator and participant in the most joyful way. The instruments, many of South American origin, carry ancient vibrations. Before each performance, there's an introduction -- not just of the dance or music, but of the why. The significance. The roots. It's a moving reminder that in today's world, inclusion must mean honoring those who've been forgotten too long. What stands out most is the deep respect they give to the culture, the traditions, and the artists -- not as entertainment, but as sacred carriers of heritage. Every gesture, every note, every step is offered with reverence. This isn't just entertainment -- it's cultural reclamation. It's spiritual. It's personal. The mousse here is absolutely exquisite -- a masterclass in texture, temperature, and consistency. Every spoonful felt like silk on the palate. Truly mind-blowing. I also had the lasagna, and it was exceptional. Vegetarian lasagna is a rare find done right, but this one hit every note -- rich, hearty, and deeply satisfying without being heavy. It's comfort food elevated with finesse. The entire platter was beautifully presented and thoughtfully composed. Every element felt intentional, and together they created a meal that was both nourishing and exciting. As someone who seeks out vegetarian options, this was a standout experience -- one I'd gladly return for. Bonus: Marilyn Monroe once graced this space. So did several Grammy-winning artists.
