I even asked the kid at the counter if they added the extra I paid for, he said yes. As I'm eating it, I can tell there is ZERO extra amount. 2 weeks ago I was there and I added cocoa nibs. I got my bowl and could tell there were none added. I asked the girl at the counter that took my order, and made the bowl, about my missing item. She said "that bowl doesn't come with that" I said I know l, but I paid to have it added! She went thru the receipt to check and sure enough, she charged me for them and didn't add them. Service is always really great, and the food is usually pretty good. We got a smoothie, avocado toast(favorite thing on the menu always 10/10) and the green glow bowl. TDLR: Bad customer service, bowl sucks. Go to Purple Açaí Bowls in Sebastopol. Upon ordering the nutty bowl, I asked the cashier for NO bananas and to alternate for blueberries. After eating the toppings and getting to the base, I could taste banana and see banana pieces. I returned back to the cashier & told her this information. She said she will have her manager come speak to me. The manager with the glasses said that I ate half the bowl & I had to specifically ask for no bananas inside the base, not just for the toppings. I think it's pretty common sense that if I specifically said I don't like bananas in my bowl, that means no banana in the base as well. I attached a photo of my bowl that was NOT half eaten, just the toppings are gone as I said. The manager refused to make me a new bowl until I had to come back a second time telling her I was very upset to be forced to eat and pay for a $14 overpriced bowl I specifically asked for no banana's in. She said the reason for the refusal was that I didn't specifically say no bananas inside or outside the bowl. In addition, she stated "we're not going to waste any resources making you a new bowl." A recommendation from a coworker led me to this rather obscure, franchised location in Santa Rosa close to where I work. The first visit alone made me realize how special this place is. Since then, I have practically made two to three trips a week to grab some of their delicious offerings. I have tried a few of their items on their menu with the Acai Elixir as my go-to smoothie and the Immunity Bowl as my choice of lunch for those days where the stress could literally kill you. To illustrate how special the Immunity Bowl is, the following are its ingredients: acerola, fresh lemon, raw ginger, banana, mango, kale, organic camu camu, and immunity boost as its base and then topped with organic granola, strawberries, blueberries, bee pollen, and honey.
