While I was simply trying to get some water, security started yelling, "You can't do that! You can't do that!" At first, I honestly didn't even realize he was talking to me -- because in my mind, I was just doing the most basic human survival activity: getting water. Then came the plot twist: "YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR WATER HERE!" And just like that, the World Cup became the Water Cup -- available for purchase only. All jokes aside, it was disappointing. Water, especially on a hot day and in a public-facing establishment, feels like something that should be offered with a little more kindness and humanity. If you're visiting from another country and had a similar experience, I'm truly sorry. Please know this isn't everyone here. There are many good people in this country who would gladly offer you a glass of water for free -- and probably ask if you needed ice, too.

A little loud during the World Cup, but seating was plentiful on a Thursday night and they had a few kid friendly food options (grilled cheese, pizza, quesadillas, chicken nuggets and fries). Parking was easy as there's a covered parking garage attached to the hotel and I think I only paid $1 for 2 hours of parking.
