Preserved egg congee and sticky rice
    Quynh-Nhi N.

We found Hong Kong Food tucked inside Juesgo Market, and it honestly felt like one of those awesome hidden gems you stumble on by chance. It's a small, no-frills spot, but the food really surprised us in the best way. I ordered the congee, and it was warm, comforting, and so flavorful. Exactly what I needed. My friend got the sticky rice, and we both loved how simple and satisfying it was. We also got an egg tart and it was nice and flakey. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and the prices were super reasonable for the quality.

I was really looking forward to eating at Hong Kong Food in Plano. People have been glazing it on google and the Dallas Asian food facebook group. It's a real hidden gem, nestled inside of the jusgo market. I took my grandparents and brother there and ordered the beef that noodle, shrimp rice rolls, steamed pork and shrimp dumpling, and congee with pork and preserved egg. They only have like 3 tables and many people are coming and going for takeout. The beef flat noodle had a good wok and char flavor but unfortunately the dish was pretty bland. Otherwise, it was cooked well. The shrimp rice rolls were also meh. There was not a lot of soy sauce at all and the rice rolls were very thick, making it hard to coat them with sauce. The pork dumpling was decent, it's very dense with meat but nothing special. The congee was pretty watery and they skimped so much on the meat and preserved egg. I wanted to like this place but left pretty disappointed

Chee Chong fun - 4/5 Very very close .. needs to be a little thinner but sauce is right!! Tasted right Sheng Jian bao -5/5 Made just correct to my authenticity standard. Curry puff and bbq pork puff 4/5 A little place that offers affordable prices.. although prices have gone up so much .. this is alternative for cheap dimsum place

It was my family's first time trying out this spot, and boy were we absolutely content! Definitely brought back the old school Hong Kong street food feel/ambience and our taste buds were going wild. We moved to Dallas a few years ago from the 626 so we have pretty high standards when it comes to HK style eats - they knocked it out of the ballpark! Kennedy was so graceful & pleasant to chat with. The service was great. The rice rolls were amazing, as well as the Singapore noodles! We also ordered the sticky rice fried rice, beef congee, shrimp rice rolls, and shumai - all were very well made and delicious. Our toddlers loved it as well! Located inside the Justgo supermarket, give them a try! We are coming back to support them for sure. Thank you Kennedy & team for the awesome experience & legit HK grub.

First time trying this place. They are friendly and the food is good. The beef flat noodle is good, the noodle is soft. The dim sums we bought are delicious.

They make fresh shrimp cheng fun as well as beef flat noodles. The flat noodles are also fresh, and the wok hei makes it even better!

My wife & I came here for lunch. My wife was recommended to try this place. The food came out quickly. It tasted pretty authentic like Cantonese Hong Kong food. The service was good for a take out place. We decided to eat it while it was hot. Unfortunately, the tables are near the frozen section of Jusgo. But that is expected since it is mostly a take out. For those of you who understand Canto, it has good "wok hay!"

Go support them. The food is great and great price. The beef stir fried flat noodle has great color and great wok hei flavor. Loved this little shop. The owner is so nice and work so hard. Highly you support this shop and help keep it alive.

CASH ONLY ESTABLISHMENT The restaurant is located inside the Asian supermarket of "JusGo" all the in the back by the frozen items. This is your no frills kind of joint. There are 3 tables outside the counter where you place your orders. Most of the tables can fit a max of 4, with the exception of the third table fitting about 6 comfortably. I wouldn't recommend a large group here. The dishes are pretty much made to order so be sure to be patient! The shrimp dumplings (not pictured) were great! I enjoyed the beef congee a lot!

    Rice Roll with Shrimp

Absolutely fire rice rolls. Great chew. Satisfied my itch for shrimp rice rolls locally. New fave spot for this dish. Kind service.

Nothing can go wrong if you like Hong Kong style dim sum and street food! It's inside Jusgo so it's not a typical restaurant that you would sit down and eat, but the food is great.

Came here for the steamed rice noodle, it was silky and smooth, but wish it could be thinner, one of the good ones in this area. Curry beef bakery might be a pass next time, outside flaky but curry beef is a little lower than expected. Egg tart is a good option here. It's inside grocery store if you have hard time to find it!

Came back for some cheung fun $4.5 around 11:30 am on Friday. Decided to have beef congee $4.5 and pork soup dumplings $6.5. The Mandarin speaking lady said there's soup in the xiao long bao aka soup dumplings. We told Chef Tam and the cashier no cilantro due to my allergy. It was 10 minutes after placing our orders and then Chef Tam said the beef in congee are pre-marinated with cilantro. Think they should have told me when placing the order not this much later. I could have changed to fish or something else. My husband ended up having the congee. Cheung fun was freshly made and I give it a 3 stars. Consistency is ok but needed more filling. Felt like I was eating plain ones. 1 star for pork soup dumplings. As soon as Chef Tam placed the steamed basket on the table, I saw soup marks on the wax paper. I figure there might be one or two bursted. I was wrong. There was absolutely no juice/soup in all 8 of them. I asked if these were home-made or store-bought, he said home-made. He also admitted that he overcooked them causing them to bust. Then I wonder why he would still serve them knowing he overcooked them. Maybe he doesn't care about the quality or reputation? He's there by himself cooking each order and the wait can be long if there are too many orders. The Mandarin speaking lady only seems to help on check-outs and preparation. We like to support local business but the quality isn't there.

The green onion pork chop rice was flavorful and comforting. The pork chop was tender and well seasoned, and the scallion soy sauce soaked beautifully into the rice. Simple and satisfying, exactly what you want from a classic HK café dish. The standout was the stir fried flat noodle with beef. It came out piping hot with steam rising, and the texture was spot on. The noodles were perfectly chewy without being greasy or clumped together, and the beef was tender with that subtle smoky wok hei flavor. You can tell it was cooked fresh, and that heat and texture really made the dish shine. The salted lemon soda was bright and refreshing, while the Yuen Yeung was strong and smooth with that classic Hong Kong milk tea and coffee combo kick. The tofu pudding had an authentic Hong Kong flavor. Served warm with a light ginger sugar syrup, it was silky smooth, delicate, and not overly sweet, bringing back that nostalgic HK dessert shop vibe.
