There was 5 attractions and they were all amazing! We went on the Sunday before Halloween and it was pretty dead which I loved honestly because me and my fiance got to enter all the attractions just us! I am unsure if they do that on a busier night but they did it this night which I really liked. They have three food trucks the food was okay, we got loaded cheese fries for 11.50 from the one truck barley had a bacon on them, but fries themselves were just frozen fries nothing amazing. However all the workers from the cross guard guy to the people working the booths were all super nice!! I would differently go back

What a hike it was to get here, but it was totally worth it!! Even the drive was a little scary,…read morehaha. Leech Woods is easy to pass by if you aren't paying attention, especially at night. But I was quite intrigued when I arrived! They have a haunted hayride, 30 minute woods trail, axe throwing, food, bar, a fire performer, creepy characters running around... it's a really cool place to just hang out at. You don't have to plan to do the trail or hayride if you don't want to. For places like this, I don't expect much outside of the main attraction. I believe they're done for the year now, but while Halloween is the most active and fun time to go, it's super busy, and you'll have to pace yourself with any groups ahead of you on the trail. Mind you, there wasn't a wait... but I feel like I would've been a lot more scared if I didn't have some of it spoiled by people in front of me. I will spare no details, because if you haven't been, you're in for a treat. Make sure you read up on Leech Woods before you go... it's quite the story!

For $70 and an hour drive, I was expecting a lot more. It simply wasn't scary to me. Like at all. We got through the whole thing in like an hour and a half. The food was horrible and overpriced - a mini pizza and a soda cost $15 and the pizza tasted like those cheap frozen ones you can buy at the grocery store. Definitely not worth the $85 between ticket and food, gas, travel time, and tolls lol.

My friend and I got the instant access pass for an extra $25 and to be honest, it was worth every penny. With it being spooky month, we knew it would be jam packed. The line got general admission was ridiculous. The line to express access was better but still pretty long. Instant access allows you to skip the line and go straight to the entrance of the haunted house. The music was too loud to hear the instructions but I guess the gist is, don't run and don't touch the actors. I loved the design and themes of most rooms. Some left a little to be desired. I do wish there were a little more actors and better system of separating the parties. There were quite a few times we were able to see ahead so we knew what was coming. My favorite times were any moment where the actors interacted with the guests, like when we were chased. After the haunted house, you're able to buy merch and take photos. Although we didn't do the escape room, I liked that there was an option to do so this adding to the whole Halloween experience. All in all, I enjoyed my time at the House of Horror. While there could be some improvements with setup, I would still recommend it for others wanting to check out a local haunted house.

Many of the prop details are lost because you just can't see them. I also felt they needed more actors. Having an actor here or there was disappointing. Spoiler alert: Finally at the end of the experience I heard what I expected in a chainsaw. No chasing just a faint chainsaw and we were done. Lines moved along well and the props were great but it could just be so much better. Also if more would have been done in the way of food etc at the end, it would have made a difference.

A few attractions had great actors, but mostly just animatronics or actors who had their masks up and weren't in character. However, I simply cannot give five stars at this time. Our group went to Markoff's on a Sunday night, which is clearly their slow night and least crowded night. But despite the fact that there were SIGNIFICANTLY less people than any other time we'd been in past years, we had to wait OVER TWO HOURS to be called for the trail. Then we had to wait approximately 20 more minutes to get to the trail entrance. We had anticipated being home from this adventure by 9pm, but now it is almost midnight and we are still en route. Unfortunately, multiple members of our group had to leave because they simply could not wait that long. Some folks had to bring their kids home and others had to relieve babysitters. We love you Markoff's, but really found this to be unacceptable.
