Excellent 3 bed 3 bath space for the weekend! It's spacious and the beds/rooms were all extremely comfortable. I highly recommend this space especially if you are attending a wedding - I didn't realize how helpful it would be to have three bathrooms! We also had the room right off the balcony and loved sitting there in the morning/evening. Since it's right downtown there is some evening noise but with the provided noise machines it did not bother us at all. The location can't be beat! One thing to note: there is no stove. There is a nice kitchen/dining area though with a fridge and microwave. read more

We rented 410 Thames street and were very satisfied with our overall stay. Great location in the center of all the shopping and restaurants. Very easy access to private parking spots, right across the street! The loft was very clean, fully stocked, and comfortable. Plenty of room to relax, unwind, even people watch! We ran into a few minor issues with our stay- nothing to even note in detail on here- but the company contact remedied the situation promptly and we were very satisfied. I would absolutely recommend staying here- I would imagine by seeing all the photos of the other lofts that they are just as nice and comfortable and clean as 410 Thames. Newport Lofts has been excruciating to work with, especially when it comes to dealing with COVID-19 related issues. We had to cancel our wedding 2 weeks prior due to travel restrictions, and were not offered any refund. They only offered a gift certificate for a future stay and acted as if they were doing us a favor since their normal cancellation policy does not offer money back for a cancel under 30 days. I understand that everyone is struggling during this time, but do not make your costumers pay for that. It is so disappointing that a business can run like this. I would definitely think twice before booking here (especially if a cancellation is a possibility)! read more

My wife, in-laws and I stayed at the Newport Lofts this past weekend. I have been to quite a few hotels around the area but this was by far the best. The rooms were spacious, modern and even looked over Thames street. The attendant in the parking lot, Mike, was extremely kind and knowledgeable as well. It was nice to have someone familiar with the area watching over our cars along with greeting us every morning. Definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Newport! read more

The Newport Lofts were awful to work with especially with rescheduling with the coronavirus. I was originally booked for a mid-April 2020 weekend. Unlike Airbnb, they were not offering refunds.They did offer gift certificates, then they jacked up the prices for future stays. With this method, they are trying to recoup costs due to the corona virus with future stays and unreasonable prices. Their goal is to squeeze money out of people, even if you thought you have already paid in full. Airbnb has equally beautiful properties, with fair pricing. On top of that, the Newport Lofts website is terrible, slow, and looks like it created in the 90s. I recommend staying far away from this company. Update: - They are slow in issuing any refunds. - The website has no ability to manage a reservation online. The company increases the prices overnight. There is no way to change a booking other than to call while the office is open, by then prices have already skyrocketed. - Guest Services Representative are slow and don't know how to work their own website. - Price gouging occurs when a seller increases the prices of goods, services or commodities to a level much higher than is considered reasonable or fair. read more

We rented 543 NW for our wedding weekend and everything was perfect! The loft was just as the photo showed if not better! They provided all materials prior to checking in to help make the stay even better with things to do in the area etc. Everything was spotless and made for a perfect stay! Plus you cannot beat the location! Sherry who I was in contact with booking the loft was fantastic. She was extremely responsive and answered all of my questions! We've been renting with Newport Lofts for many years and have always been happy. The units are nicely done, with high end amenities. What is so disappointing...with all of this Covid madness, the seafood festival was canceled. We always came for that and had a great time. The problem is that after paying half of our stay, a year in advance, they charged us 10% to cancel 4 months out. That's a good amount of money and when I questioned it, I was told that's what we do. Most every other business tries to help people out during this difficult time, not charge needlessly. Sadly, we won't be back. Very disappointed. Apparently, they offer very little help if a family member contracts covid. They told my daughter that We booked on the 14th and knew the risk (can you believe the nerve) and that I can reschedule or get a gift card. Sure, I knew the risk so We waited until things were opening! We're going with a large party- it's not exactly easy to just switch everything up. We also can't just reschedule in case any of us get it since I watch my grandchildren. So, if we go, they're taking a risk on us spreading it as well. The lofts are centrally located and look new. Unfortunately they are cheaply made and you will hear your neighbors all day and all night. I had a terrible time just trying to close the man front door. The door does not line up with the door jam. You have to lift the entire door. The walls are paper thin. You can hear the every step taken in the adjacent unit. We brought our kids, and love the location and kitchen. However, in addition to having to ask the neighbors too keep it down (at midnight) there is a HUGE row of trash dumpsters out back (be prepared to wake up early on Thursday for trash pick up) and the smell of restaurant dumpsters next to your porch. -looks pretty, clean, new. But loud, poorly built and not well made, especially for families. And no one to help you when your neighbors party all night....and no parking spot when it's a busy weekend. Buyer beware. read more

We had a FANTASTIC time at 364 Thames Street! We were here for my sisters wedding and my parents, my husband and daughter and my sister stayed here for 5 nights. Traveling with a toddler is a little nerve wracking and I called the office a bunch with questions and they were so helpful. Olivia was a doll. The day of the wedding we had 8 bridesmaids, Mother's of the bride/groom and flower girls all getting ready and there was more than enough space. We were in unit 6 and the photographer kept saying that the light was beautiful and my sister's getting ready pictures look so good! The parking can be a pain (2 spots are included) so if you need people to use the lot make sure they get there before noon because it fills up. We ended up needing to stay another night because my daughter was a little under the weather and they were SO accommodating and understanding. There wasn't a broom in the unit (just a bissel natural sweeper) but I'm sure if we called the office we would have been able to get one. They were very responsive! What our group had hoped to be a relaxing weekend celebrating a friend's completion of chemotherapy treatment was in reality a complete nightmare of an experience attempting to babysit a frat party of 15+ guys that were in the unit above us. We arrived on Friday to find that 2 of the 3 spots that were promised for our unit were taken by the tenants in 617 North. We called the property management number and spoke with someone who promised it would be rectified. The other unit moved the original cars only to have two more cars move into our spots shortly after. I had to have 3 conversations with the property manager and the tenants upstairs before we could actually use the spots that were allocated for our unit. The noise that was coming from the unit above us made it completely impossible for us to relax the entire weekend. We walked upstairs to talk with them at 12:30am on Friday night to ask them to please keep it down. When they didn't stop partying, we tried calling the 24 hour phone line advertised on our welcome email from Newport Lofts, but there was no answer. We tried to make do with noise cancelling head phones and ear plugs but at 5 am the noise was still so incredibly loud that we had to go speak with the tenants above us AGAIN to ask them to please just go to bed. After a night of pretty much no sleep, we still kept our plans of visiting the Cliff Walk and getting lunch during the day on Saturday and hoped that our neighbors would be partied out by the time we returned. We arrived back at the unit on Saturday at 3pm to find a group of 15 (we counted) men partying on the roof deck. There were cans of beer and cigarettes strewn all over the driveway. We tried to sit in our kitchen but were completely unnerved by the sounds of bodies being body slammed and wrestled in the unit above. At that point we called the property manager to let them know just how disappointed we were with the entire Newport Loft experience. The property manager offered to move us to another unit. Why our group, who had been quiet and respectful the entire weekend, had to be the ones to move is beyond me. The fact that Newport Lofts thought it was acceptable to allow a group of overtly rambunctious men to be housed in a unit above another rented space shows just how little good judgement the management has. Clearly they will do anything to get their units rented because any other respectable property management company would not allow such behavior in their units, or if they did anticipate such behavior, at least put them in a stand-alone unit so they do not have the opportunity to terrorize the other unit with excessively loud music and drinking. We are a group of women in our late 20's who are no strangers to a good party and the noise/activities were shocking to us. I can only imagine if an elderly group or family had stayed in our unit. The lack of noise insulation and behavior of our neighbor tenants truly made for a nightmare of a weekend. We paid a significant amount of money to rent the so-called "luxury" unit and could not have had a worse experience. I would advise Newport Lofts to have respect for ALL of your tenants and not allow a group of 15 people party in a space that is meant for 8. We will not be renting here again and I would advise anyone who is considering any of the units for a relaxing weekend away to definitely look elsewhere. read more

We had placed $300.00 worth of food; cheese, meats, yogurt, etc when we first arrived Friday afternoon and by Saturday morning it was all spoiled. The refrigerator part was not only not cooling the food, it was actually warm. We had to throw out all of our perishable food and buy ice for the stuff we were able to salvage. We contacted the management company via email on Saturday to let know about the issue, they responded back with a call later in the day and asked if we needed to send someone out to look at the refrigerator. At this point we told them it was up to them because we would not be restocking or using the refrigerator at that point because we were leaving first thing in the morning. We did make it clear that they would need someone to look at it before there were new guests. I asked that we get refunded for the food we had purchased and the customer service representative told us they were unable to assist with that request but they would transfer me to Steve who would be able to help me when he got in Monday morning. Steve did not return my call, when I had not heard from him by Wednesday morning I again called and explained the issue to the customer service representative that picked up. Shortly after Steve called me back. Steve was extremely condescending saying that the refrigerator was working and that he has no clue why my food would have spoiled. He also seemed to be confused on how food could spoil that quickly. I explained that the food wasn't event cool, it was warm to the point the refrigerator stunk and it smelt the loft up. He then went onto MANSPLAIN how a refrigerator works and that it must have been user error or maybe I didn't shut the door tight enough. Clearly he has no clue how a refrigerator works because if it was just not shutting the door tight enough food would not have spoiled, our drinks would not be warm. I think we are being quite reasonable asking for a refund of $300.00. I will never ever stay at this property again, or any properties owned by one of the LLC's and I will make sure everyone knows how little this place cares for their customers and that Steve in particular is patronizing to women. read more

I am extremely disappointed in my first experience with Newport Lofts. I attempted to reserve one of their properties for next May! I sent in my reservation request through Airbnb last night (very excited) only to receive an email this morning rejecting my reservation due to their claim that the rental price, which they are responsible for listing, was not correct on Airbnb. I questioned this via email and was told sorry ....there is nothing they can do and directed me to their website to still book if I wanted to do so, where the price was DOUBLE. Well from what I understand, the host is responsible for setting the price on Airbnb and when I pressed the issue as their error, I was again told there was nothing they could do and they had no intention of honoring their misquoted price or offering any discount at all. This appears to be a complete bait and switch. I would advise all parties looking to book with them to be aware of this blatant misrepresentation. Their complete lack of customer service is just incomprehensible. Needless to say I will never use them again and will recommend to all my colleagues, clients, family and friends that they stay away from this company for any stay in Newport...and take my business elsewhere. read more

Three Senior women friends stayed 3 nites at 359 Thames NorthWest...2 BR 2 Baths w/ pull out sofa. Plenty of room to spread out, meticulously clean, nicely furnished & decorated, CA. Came with 2 garage parking spots across the street. Easy enough access especially if you walked up ramp to Wyndham. Set of short exterior stairs to apartment...one of our party has mobility issues so important! Easy walk to wherever we wanted to go. Seamless reservation & check in. Highly recommend!
