Cute place! Very upbeat atmosphere! Love the coffee. Great spot to grab a snack to take along my walks or to the nearby walks.

My friends and I stopped by to try the Nook today and WOW we love this place!! The owner was so passionate about his coffee and informed us in detail of where his coffee beans were from, when they were roasted and how he creates his delicious concoctions. I felt like I learned so much and he let us sample many different drinks he creates and they all blew us away! The coffee was the absolute best I have ever had and the blueberry iced tea was out of this world. I would recommend both the Blue Devil Cold Brew coffee and the Buzz (a creamy maple-honey coffee drink). If you care about great coffee and tea you NEED to try this place! The cupcakes were also delicious and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable. We needed a great little local coffee shop in the area and the Nook has answered my prayers. Don't get what all the hype is about. The menu is quite small and overpriced ($10 for two decent coffees). The baked goods that are being mentioned in other comments is minimal. The people who run it seem like really nice people and it's a good environment there...I just wish the options were greater and the prices were a bit lower. read more

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cupcake. Need I say more? Ordered 7 dozen cupcakes for a surprise graduation party (already stressful enough!) and The Nook made this process the easiest I could imagine!! I also frequent here for coffee, bubble tea, and of course linguica rolls! The hardest part about purchasing cupcakes from here is picking a flavor!! too many to choose. read more

I am fairly new to Fairhaven and walked into The Nook on a whim. Having lived in several more metropolitan places I was missing the "cool coffee" shop. I walked in and was greeted by Paul the owner and had entertaining and fun conversation. They also have enough confidence in their goods as they will offer up samples for you to try. Considering the South Coast is generally blue collar and not very adventurous when it comes to dining. I love it and they now have a permanent customer in me. read more

I absolutely love this place! Not only is the food and coffee great but the people and environment is even better. For instance, I had knee surgery a few months ago and one time shortly after that I went there and one of the servers went out of his way to hold the door and help me carry my coffee to my car. Friendly staff & cheese rolls were delicious. Cold brew coffee was good but very expensive and the girl said they were out of reg iced coffee which i thought was strange. Was not that impressed but maybe showed up on a bad day. Will try again. read more

The Staff is wonderful and very kind. 90% of the time the owner is there and you get a warm welcome from him. The food and drinks are delicious (linguicia cheese rolls are be best). The atmosphere is homey and fun! read more

I heard good things about this place and always support local businesses whenever possible. I walked in one morning expecting a nice quiet place to have breakfast and mentally get ready for the day. As I opened the door, I was greeted by heavy metal music blasting at full volume. Yikes! At 10 AM. Really? I ordered and asked if they could turn it down or change the music. I was told I had to ask the boss who was sitting at one of the tables, having a really loud conversation (to be heard over the music) with his friend. When I asked about the music he said "No! When you come in here, you have to listen to what I want to listen to and I want to listen to this.""How about some quiet jazz?" I asked. "No. I like this and it's staying." I should have walked out at this point but I was too shocked I guess with his extremely unprofessional behavior. Is this the new business plan? Has customer satisfaction been replaced with the boss's desires? If you're looking to relive the experience of your petulant teenager sitting in the living room with his friends, heavy metal blasting away and talking back to you, this is the place for you! read more

Delicious brews, not a huge selection in decaf, but iced chai latte was a perfect refreshing alternative. Linguica and cheese roll was irresistible with linguica slices and gooey cheese stacked inside a soft, buttery bun. Cute, tucked away place with a neighborhood feel, indoor and outdoor seating, quality brews and none of the lines of that other place near UMass. read more

Oh boy where to start?! So with it being Becky season (aka Fall) I have heard nothing but how amazing The Nook's Pumpkin Spice Latte is, so I had to drive there and taste it myself! WOW! It is amazing! I brought my mom with me (she's visiting from South Carolina) and she isn't a huge fan of espresso, the owner came and talked to her and they came up with a "mild Americano" that she absolutely LOVED! The coffee is just really, really good and being a former Starbucks employee I'm pretty picky when it comes to coffee! I will however say that whenever I do go there is little to no baked goods and the prices are a little bit on the more expensive side. They do give a card that gets stamped every 10 dollars you spend but you have to spend $100.00 (or more depending on your order) to get a free drink of your choice, to me that's a little insane considering I can spend that at Starbucks and be able to get a few free drinks and food. Other than that the place is great and the atmosphere is welcoming. Will surely be back before PSL's disappear!! read more

The coffee is amazing. Staff are super helpful and very nice. Very clean and comfortable. Also the linguist cheese rolls rule.

This is a place in our neighborhood so I really want it to succeed, but I was a bit disappointed. The owners are passionate about their coffee for sure, but as a strictly decaf drinker the options for some of the more interesting things are limited. The iced decaf latte and my husband's hot decaf latte were both excellent. Where I was disappointed was with the cupcake and brownie we bought. Neither were anything special, and the icing on the cupcake was supposed to be buttercream but there was no taste of butter at all, just an overly sweet shortening taste. The selection was also very limited with only 2 items in the display case. The server must have been new, even though we waited a month or so before trying the place, wanting to avoid the break-in period. She was not organized, had trouble with our order and gave me someone else's coffee drink. I'm hoping these issues will smooth out and I hope they do well, and we'll continue to try them and hope for the best. read more
